I have stayed here every year since 2011. The location is perfect, the staff is very helpful and the hotel itself is very quaint. They are very good at updating the rooms pretty consistently. I have actually stayed in the same room 3 years in a row and love it!

We just got back from a great trip to Paris and this hotel was a nice addition to the trip. Loved our stay at the hotel. We chose an interior room to avoid any street noise but when we got there we realized the street is not a busy commercial street so either location works. The room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. The room as a mini fridge and a safe. All rooms are decorated differently. Apart from the hotel being great with nice amenities etc....we find a very important factor ... The staff is very welcoming and professional. Every request is met with utmost care and you really feel that you are an important guest. The breakfast offering was very comprehensive and efficiently presented. Do not come here if you are looking for vast space in your room; you will not find it in most hotels of this calibre. But you will find a very comfortable bed, charming beams overhead and thick curtains that block out all noise. We loved the choice of restaurants here and the lively a... Read more

My wife and I stayed here because she and my daughter had enjoyed their stay several years ago. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was excellent. The rooms are very small (we had a superior double) as to be expected in an older hotel in central Paris. The hotel arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station for our trip to Normandy and also from the hotel back to CDG. The rates for the car were competitive and the car service was prompt and efficient. As was the case everywhere we stayed in ... Read more

We had a great time in this hotel - perfectly located and wonderful staff. Rooms are small but that's typical in Paris. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were charming. I recommend asking for a room facing the courtyard as the street noise can be loud on the weekends (although quite quiet during the rest of the week). The staff were very personable, the free wifi worked well and they have a 24 hour bar, which was great! Would definitely come back.

We have traveled to Paris numerous times, love staying the St Germain, and thought we would try a new hotel this time. Shouldn't have. Pluses: excellent location, comfortable bed. pretty good breakfast-they will cook eggs to order. NEGATIVES: VERY very noisy room. You could hear the language of the TV program and the guests next door. Small room. I KNOW I KNOW European rooms are small. We reserved a Superior, and this is was not. I think they must count a strange, long hallway from the ba... Read more

Having stayed previously at the Hotel Dauphine we were very pleased to return to this gorgeous, quaint hotel. The staff here are fabulous and are extremely welcoming and warm to guests. Particularly Adrian on the front desk, who is willing to help at all times. The warm welcome does make it feel like a home away from home. I was very pleased to receive champagne for my birthday and appreciated the gesture. Yes, the rooms are small but this is Paris and the location is excellent. We had a very qu... Read more

I love its left bank location. Just a few steps to the Pont Neuf or in the other direction, the Odeon Metro stop. The hotel is quintessentially French. You can almost miss it walking down the avenue. The best part is the Concierge service no matter who is on the desk. We esp loved Roland, the night man. He would often take us by the hand to point us in the right direction. Rooms are French and breakfast is lovely. Great Parisian spot!

This is our fifth visit to this city and we try a different location each time. This is our first in the Latin Quarter. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and see, however, the rooms are the smallest that we have stayed in. There is barely enough room to allow luggage (and we only used carry on). Our bathroom had a light that was out when we arrived. The towel rack has a warmer on it but this didn't work. There are no plugs that you can use in the bathroom. There is a hairdryer th... We stayed at Hotel Dauphine Saint Germain for 6 nights. As a family of 5 we had two rooms, including a junior suite. The hotel was clean, and well decorated. Breakfast was a highlight. The staff here are friendly, engaging and informative, particularly Adrien who had assisted us in the lead up to our stay as well. The location is perfect, close to restaurants, metro, shopping etc. Lovely part of Paris, would definitely stay again.

We have been to Paris several times and always have stayed in this area because it's close to everything including the metro . I have stayed at Relais Christine, duaubuddon and dauphine. They are ranked by best to worse. The good news is that we spent little time in the room which were 2 singles to make a "King" which was fine with us. However , the room was so small that we didn't have a place for our Suitcases so we ended up putting them on a chair . There were no drawers so we ended up ... Read more

Charming boutique hotel feels very French. We had a twin room, although it was very small it was very functional and beautifully decorated, with wood beams on the ceiling, chandler, lovely wallpaper which coordinated with the bedding and heavy drapes. The bathroom was also great for us. Marble sink with room to do hair and makeup, an opening window and long retractable clothes line over the tub. I have stayed at the Hotel Dauphine twice; December 2015 and May 2016 and have loved my time in the hotel both times. There is just something about this place. I can't put my finger on it but I love everything about the Dauhpine. Perhaps the fact that it's a true Parisian boutique hotel. Staff here are wonderful. Breakfasts are nice too. Spent 7 nights for a vacation on our first trip to Paris. Room is small but not unreasonably so for Paris. Bathroom was large. Bed was very comfortable. Stayed in an inner room which pretty much eliminated street noise. A modest but adequate breakfast was served in a nice dining room each morning (cost 12 E). Hotel has an elevator and a small bar room in back. Location is great; 2 blocks from the Seine and a similar distance to St. Germaine Blvd. Metro and bus stops in both directions. Large num... This hotel is a real find in a perfect location. Room seemed a bit small on arrival but only stayed 3 nights so was more than adequate. Bigger rooms are available and would chose one if staying longer. Staff, room service and breakfast were great. Location a few blocks from Seine and St Chapelle, Notre dame and Louvre. Ate out at a few of the local bistros and restaurants at night all highly recommended. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

The best location in Paris in my opinion, right in the heart of Saint Germain - you wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Walk to all the best cafes and restaurants in the arrondisement. Tiny frontage to the street that you could easily miss it if you werent paying attention. Staff were pretty good overall. The hotel was excellently located in a bustling St Germain with multitude of restaurants and bars all around. Rue D'Auphine is a narrow street with little or no parking and as such pick up with Uber requires holding up traffic. The busy and lively location means that noise is part of the experience at night-those who seek a quiet and restful evening will be disappointed. I stayed at this hotel with a friend. We're in our 20s, so we spent a lot of nights out late, but this hotel is great for families too. The hotel was in a lively area so there were cafes, restaurants, and shops all around. It's about a 5 minute walk to the Seine from the hotel and is close to nearly all the tourist attractions in Paris. It's a 15 minute walk to Notre Dame, the Pantheon, and the Louvre. If you read other reviews of this hotel, the first thing you will notice is "small (or even tiny) rooms"; this is true of all but their most expensive suites. The standards rooms are small - by U. S. standards - very small. But everything in Europe is smaller than what Americans are used to. If you plan on spending your vacation in your hotel room, this is probably not the place for you - and you had better be prepared to spend close to twice what you pay in the U.S. for a spacious room. We overnighted here taking the train to the Alps last Christmas. It was very comfortable, the staff were v friendly, but best of all, we had a couple of brilliant connecting rooms which meant we could close off the outer door and have a suite to ourselves. The location of this hotel on Rue Dauphine on the Left Bank in the 6th arrondissement is the strongest feature. Turn left out of the door, walk two blocks, and Rue Dauphine literally becomes Pont Neuf, the oldest, and my personal favorite, bridge in Paris.
