I really enjoyed my stay at the lovely Hotel Konfidentiel! It's a boutique hotel so only 6 rooms but there's only one room per floor. That means complete privacy. We stayed at the top floor which had the king size bed, very comfy! There was a little fur throw and pillow by the skylight which was great for star gazing at night. Each room has it's own theme. But I loved how our rooms were on the upper level, with the livingroom to lounge about in. Very surprised how big the rooms were. The hotel s... Read more

Atmosphere, cool details, quaint. Quite an experience. More than just a normal Hotel, it's like being guest in an elegant home, located in a town rather than in the City; still right in the Center and close to everything, It is a good add-on to a wonderful Paris experience. Very romantic even when traveling in 3.

My daughter found this hotel and it is indeed "Konfidential." You can imagine celebrities staying here. There are only 6 rooms, one on each floor. The lobby windows are tinted and you must be "buzzed in" by the clerk. The rooms are extremely charming, with crystal chandeliers, wood beams on the ceiling, and murals of Marie Antoinette, King Louis IV, etc. The location was ideal. It was on a quiet street just a block from the Rue de Rivoli, the Louvre, and the Seine. It is an easy walk to Notre Da... Read more

Loved our stay here...our room was small but for Paris standards this is normal...well appointed bathroom and lovely fluffy bathrobes. As mentioned in other reviews not much room for luggage so the room did look untidy due to the space issue once we opened our cases. The location was perfect, you can walk easily to most attractions or hop on the underground that's just down the street. Oodles of great eating places nearby. Staff were helpful and efficient but not chatty! This is a wonderful p... Read more

We stayed on the top floor, room 6, 2 adults and 1 child. We had the double bed and our son had a bed under the eves, which he loved, but note there was no curtain for the huge velux window next to his bed. We had a buy bin bags and borrow celetope, or our son would have been awake at 4am! Really friendly and helpful receptionist, breakfast was fresh and nice. My only small grumble would be no kettle in the room, this would have made it perfect.

I was excited to stay here, just from looking at the pictures. So many perfect features: location was walking distance to many areas, close to the Lourve. There were several bakeries, small supermarkets, bottle shops, fruit shops, gift shops etc, all within a block of this hotel. It also seemed to be a local area rather than a touristy area which I loved about it. The restaurant was closed while we were there, but that did not matter. We ate every night within a block of the hotel, including t... Read more

Very good location close to museum and shopping very clean and friendly service. There are many small restaurants within 5 minute walking distance. We walked across the river to St. Germane area. Also there is hop on hop off buses nearby basically 5 blocks from the hotel.

I booked this hotel for the good reviews and the location and I was really expecting something special. But what I found was totally different. We arrived and already the entrance did not look appealing: the tiny foyer was clattered with tools a very small reception desk was half hidden next to the entrance. We had booked the suite (?) Tour Eiffeil and we got this claustrophobic room where half of the space was taken by an ironing board in plain sight and a quite big clothes hanger. In addition... Read more

Great hotel. Perfect location and delightful staff. Would definitely stay here again. Don't listen to the bad reviews, it's honestly great. If you want a hotel with a restaurant and a cafe and toilet in the lobby then stay at a Marriott or a Novotel. This place is perfect and we'll placed for everything. Great patisseries and restaurants nearby and it's very quiet to sleep at night (most Parisian hotels are very noisy). Room was big by Parisian standards and it was lovely. Highly recommended.
