I stayed here with three friends for two nights, we all stayed in the same room which I was a bit worried would be cramped, but it was fine The room was big, clean, cosy and comfy, bathroom had a great shower. It location is really convenient for all the sights. Staff were extremely helpful. I would definately stay again. Only slight negative is that the breakfast isn't worth the money when there are plenty of patisseries round the corner. Thank you for a lovely stay Hotel Left Bank!

We were in two adults and two kids under 8 years old. We totally recommend this hotel and we will sure be back. Comfortable room, good bathroom, very good breakfast and the people are very friendly. The localization of this hotel is exceptional.

This was our first stay at the hotel and we loved it! We stayed at 3 different times with 2 out-of-town trips in between. We had different rooms every time, and they were all charming and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and bathroom spacious. All rooms were quiet, even the ones facing the front. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was excellent, within walking distance to most tourist sites and there were many cafes and restaurants around the hotel. I look... Read more

Great Experience at this hotel. It was our first time in Paris and this location was perfect for our family of 3 to experience Paris for the first time. Only 2 minutes from the Metro and the hotel is surrounded with shops and restaurants. It is a very lively area of Paris and a perfect place to stay. You are within walking distance to Notre Dame. Our triple room was very nice with a charm you will only get in Paris. The bathroom was upgraded and very nice. We would recommend this hotel to... Read more

We had a room on the fourth floor overlooking the small flowered courtyard. We also had a view of the towers of Notre Dame with a pretty flower box outside our window which did open. The room was small but to be expected in Europe. The bathroom was modern and laid out well. The fifth floor would have been just a little better view. The elevator was small but quick. It would only hold two people with luggage. The breakfast room was very lovely in this historic style hotel. It did only serve an ... Read more

Lovely room, clean and beautifully decorated. Room typically Parisian small but exceptionally comfortable. Have stayed in much smaller in Paris that were more expensive and not nearly as inviting. Staff welcoming and helpful, recommending local restaurants and interesting walks in the area. Well stocked petit dejeuner served in a lovely dining area. Perfect location for walking, shopping and sightseeing. Would definitely recommend to friends and we plan to return.

You should have no regrets if you choose to stay at this hotel. It is in a convenient location with lots of activity around, and central to key places in the city, as well as steps away from the metro. The staff are friendly and helpful; Loretta was especially forthcoming with information and tips to help with itineraries. Christophe was great to deal with right from the get-go. The rooms are comfortable and quite spacious for Europe, and are well maintained. I travelled solo and felt safe at al... Read more

This was our first time to Paris. My wife and my sister and brother in law. We really enjoyed the Left Bank St Germaine. It is in a great location. Lots of restaurants and bars and close to the iconic Paris attractions. Rooms we're clean and comfortable and had that authentic feel for a hotel that was built when it was built. I mean that in a very positive way. Our rooms were small but that's the way they made buildings a long time ago, we did not eat at the hotel bc we were out and about ... Read more

This is our second trip to Paris. We booked this hotel after reading the previous reviews on Tripadvisor. It was amazing! The location is great! It is close to the metro and within walking distance of many notable sights, including the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Pont Neuf, Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame, the Pantheon and more. It is surrounded with great restaurants and shops as well. The staff are wonderful! They are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The staff make this charming hotel extra spe... Read more

After so many years staying in hotel Left Bank it's nice to see that the owners keep the good quality, excellent atmosphere and wonderful staff. The hotel is now part of Paris Hotels Charm (t's not a best western anymore) that include 5 other boutique hotels. Good to see that the quality has not dropped under the new administration. The staff is a hallmark of this hotel: Lorette, Cristovão, the guy who stys at night (sorry , forgot his name), and of course Elisabeth who serves breakfast and is ... Read more

We selected this hotel based on location, price and previous reviews. We were not disappointed. My husband and I loved the neighborhood surrounding the hotel and proximity to the Louvre and the Notre Dame Cathedral. It was lovely! Our room was attractive and the hotel was very clean. There was always someone at the front desk, which was just inside the front door, so we felt very safe. The staff was very knowledgeable and able to provide helpful information regarding tours. We have stayed at the Left Bank Saint Germain twice; a few years apart. The neighborhood is filled with friendly cafes, shops and markets. It is an easy walk to major attractions and museums. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Christof took our reservations on the phone and was at the front desk for our arrival. Great guy who did a 12 month English language emersion class several years ago. The rooms are comfortable, clean and somewhat small. The 6th floor room is larger and has a vi... Read more

Stayed in the hotel for a week with my wife and 2 kids. By Paris standards the room was spacious, it comfortably fit the 4 of us + luggage. The room was overlooking the courtyard, I would have preferred a view of the city. Stayed in room 106 which was in between the ground floor and the 1st floor, as a result I had to use the stairs to get to the room, not a major drawback. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The best feature of the hotel is the location, 2 mins to the Metro and very ... Read more

A delightful hotel so well presented and in a great part of the city and short walk to everything. Would certainly stay there again and rooms immaculate. This is very much a boutique hotel of high standard and the front desk and staff delightful. Highly recommended. Wish we had stayed longer.

Stayed at this hotel 3/4 years ago in August and liked it then so booked it again for another 3 night August visit. During August this hotel reduces is process considerably (as most do) and because we booked direct we also got breakfast for ?5 each which is very good value. We chose this hotel as we wish to stay in a hotel with French character rather than a uniform modern hotel where you could be in any city. This does come with some drawbacks, which is mainly the size of a standard room -... Read more

We stayed at the Hotel Left Bank from October 6-10, 2016. It was absolutely great. The location is perfect, as you are only about 100 feet away from the Blvd. Saint Germain (the main drag). The Odeon metro stop is right there as well. It's in a wonderful neighborhood surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Our room (#505) looked out over the Paris rooftops and gave us a nice view of the Notre Dame bell towers. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom looked like it had been recently updated,... We booked a triple room which was very beautiful decorated and not that small. No view from our room whatsoever. Overall a clean and stylish hotel with friendly staff. The area has very nice brasserie's and the hotel is very close to Notre Dame. A bit expensive but most of the hotels in Paris are expensive. Would definitely recommend it.

When planning a trip to Paris, as with any wonderful city, locating yourself in a convenient hotel saves time and effort when you have lots of wish lists and a limited amount of time. Don't we all. This hotel puts you in walking distance of places like Notre Dame and the Sainte Germaine district, which has great restaurants, upscale shopping and lovely boutiques. Go outside the hotel and on any of the wonderful side streets, order a coffee, and watch a fascinating world walk by. Great area f... Read more

This hotel is fantastic for so many reasons! The location is superb on the Left Bank and the concierges are beyond accommodating! Want tickets? Oui! Want a day tour? Oui! How do we get into one of the best restaurants in Paris where there are no reservations? Easy if you stay at the Left Bank Hotel! I have brought friends here many times and this past September I went by myself to celebrate my birthday with my Parisian cohorts!! They could hardly believe the description of my favorite room ...
