We stayed here for four days in March and found it to be good value, very clean, and very quiet. The staff were lovely: really helpful via email before we stayed and friendly when we arrived. The rooms are of a standard size for Paris though as you're not spending a huge amount of time in it, it doesn't matter. The staff were kind enough to take our luggage when we arrived early. The only negative for us was a small issue with reservation fees that we weren't warned about. It was quickly resolv... Read more

A really nice hotel, close enough to the centre, very close to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. For Paris it was good value. Everything was spotless, room smallish but comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Our hairdryer was broken when we arrived, but when I mentioned it, it was replaced by the time we got back later in the day. No complaints about the hotel at all - felt quite safe in the area, too, being 2 women on our own. Was being re-decorated in s... Read more

The hotel itself is decent, nothing spectacular, but it cozy enough for few days! This is one of those examples where the location does the price. The breakfast is quite basic, but I'm used already with the french breakfast, so no big surprise here. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean. The hotel is few blocks from Notre Dame Catedral, and just in the nearby area of Latin Quartier. You have also a metro station at the end of the street, so all in one is a good hotel in an excelent... Read more

My wife and I once again in Paris and didn't think twice about staying at the Hotel Agora. The hotel is in a wonderful location close to everything we were interested in seeing. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and they speak English too. We would certainly recommend Hotel Agora to anyone looking for a good nights rest while in Paris.

We have spent three nights in this hotel and have been very pleased. The staff was pleasant, fluent in English, and very helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The foyer is well decorated. Wifi is free. The hotel is quiet because it is located in a small street. However, the walls are thin and you can hear noise from other rooms. The buffer breakfast was good. The location is perfect, in the Quartier Latin, near Jussieu and Institut du Monde Arabe. It is in a walking dis... Read more

I don't want to say too much about this hotel because apart from the staff my feelings are all negative. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is terrible. Thin walls, an old uncomfortable bed, dark dreary walls. We could hear our neighbours clearly. Never again.

Overall the hotel was good enough for our 4 days in Paris. It was close enough to all the major sites and metro station, altough with the recent flooding of st michaels station and the strikes, it did become a bit difficult to get to. 1. The room is really small but adequate... but you won't feel like hanging out in it other than to sleep at night. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. Don't take a dump in the room. 2. Feels relatively safe walking back at night. 3. A lot of restauran... Read more

My granddaughter and I stayed a week here in June 2016. Location was outstanding. Room comfortable. We were in a twin room on the next to top floor with a small balcony. Room was comfortable and clean and a good price for a week stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Leave your maid some euros on the first day and you will be rewarded in many ways. I would stay here again. The bells of the church did not bother us. Teeny Weeny slow elevator but thank goodness there was one!

I stayed two nights here. Whilst the reception staff were friendly and initially I liked this place, I was disgusted to find a blood stain on my sheets just before checking out. I had slept on these sheets! When I told reception of this, they did not seem at all concerned and told me to contact the manager via email. I wrote a polite email but expressed how horrible it was to discover I had slept in this dirty bed. The response I got was that I had dirtied the sheets with wine, make up and fruit... Read more

Just back from a 4 night stay at this establishment: Location; Very central, 10 mins from Notre Dame and a major transport hub Rooms; While small, (which is understandable in Central Paris), they were perfectly adequate and cleaned every day, only small criticism is the bath/shower which are not designed for anybody over 5,6'. As far as eating is concerned there are plenty restaurants near the hotel, suiting all budgets and culinary styles. The staff were courteous, friendly, helpful and a credi... Read more

Only stayed one night due to time constraints. Excellent customer service and in a very good area relatively close to the Latin Quarter. It is a bit of a walk from RER B the main line between CDG, Gare de Noord and Orly, say 800m. Often easier to stay close to the main airport feeder train lines. Well priced and twin share had just enough for two single beds. Would certainly go back.

Arrived on the Friday to a very friendly member of staff, straight away give us a map and shown us where and how to get everywhere of interest and also the best ways to get there! Ideally placed for all transport which I recommend to buy the ten tickets for 14 euros, as we never bought until our second day and had very tired legs and feet after a whole day walking! Would recommend to stay here as its quiet enough for a good sleep yet close enough to get everywhere you need!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights 5/6th of Aug. We found this hotel no problem after catching the train from the airport. It was a small room yet perfect for a rest at nice and a clean place to shower ! Room and bathroom were clean and had Fresh towels replaced the next day. Didn't have breakfast there so can't comment , however we did buy fruit and freshly baked pain au chocolate and brioche from a lovey bakery just down the road - delicious( and healer)The receptionist, a lovely lady, ... This was a surprise trip for my daughter and I am so glad I found this hotel. Prior to arrival, I've emailed asking for directions and I've always had a speedy reply although it says it may take up to 24 hours. The service was amazing! From the Receptionist to the ladies that cleaned our rooms. I called for breakfast to be taken up to the room both mornings and we didn't get charged for the breakfast to be delivered. This was, as of the time of writing, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The service, staff, food, quality of room, and cleanliness were all flawless. Our room was cleaned to a superb standard every single day, including fresh towels and bedding. The air conditioning was excellent, and it was a welcome breath of fresh air with the 36 degree heat outside. The staff greeted us very warmly, and tended to our every need. The hotel is modern, and quaint, and is a perfect hotel for a couple in the... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and thought it was quite perfect in every way. The lobby and rooms are tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Our room was on the 5th floor with a beautiful small balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and spoke far more English than we did French! The location is excellent as it is by close to the metro, Notre Dame plus some beautiful bars and restaurants. We will certainly return to Paris again and will d... Read more

Stayed in August. We had booked a Comfort room with a double bed. On arrival we were given what appeared to be a Standard room. When we complained to Reception we were told the room was in fact a Comfort room. However the room we were given looked exactly like a Standard room as pictured on their website. When challenged on this the receptionist insisted it was a Comfort room and continued to say they did not have any Standard rooms at the hotel. We were then given a Gallic shrug leaving us with... This is a small hotel within 10 minutes' walking distance of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Seine and nearby to the metro for going further afield. Rooms are small (and the lift is even smaller!) but comfortable (the shower pressure in the bathroom is very good). The only downside was the very small safe which was not big enough to fit a tablet or laptop or camera inside but other than that everything was fine. Staff were very helpful. Taxis appeared easy to get and we didn't have to wait long wh... Read more

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights. The walk from the Notre Dame took a few minutes, and rest of the big sights are a nice walk away. There is a metro stop near by too. The room was perfect. Small but it held myself, my friend and all our luggage with space so it's a perfect size for us. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean so I was super happy. Will return to this hotel for next Paris visit.

This is an excellent hotel - thoroughly recommended. Extremely well run, secure, very good breakfast with a wide choice and probably the best croissants I have ever tasted, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff. Old-fashioned and very small wall safe (not big enough for a laptop or even an iPad) with a key from reception - it might be good if the owners invested in new ones. This is a small quibble - an exceptionally good hotel

Upon checking in in the late afternoon of September 15th, with a bit of jet lag and a chest cold, I inadvertently left at the front desk a small cotton, carrying bag which Iā??d used to hold snacks for our flight from New York. It contained several cellophane-bagged packets of dried fruit and a bag of potato chips. This was not an expensive bag, but it was a unique bag and was a gift from my wife from our trip to Myanmar. Not needing the contents of the bag and needing to sleep after our flight... Read more

We stayed at the Hotel Agora Saint Germain for four nights in early October 2016. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to Notre Dame and the Saint Michael Notre Dame subway station. Walking down the Rue Monge from the hotel, toward the Seine, provides access to stores, bakeries, and restaurants. We had a quiet first floor room with two beds for our party of three. Stayed here during a holiday. Have stayed in the area previously and wanted to spend time touring around on a vacation vs business. As expected rooms are very small, and elevator is barely big enough for two let along any bags. However location, location is the value if you are going to tour around.
