Its located in front of a nice park, super handy if you have a dog and like to take him for a long walk. Yes, it is dog friendly (â?¬8 per day). Staff is friendly, rooms are clean & not small. Breakfast was okay. Nothing mind blowing. Of course they serve that scrambled eggs that it's super watered down, but they have fancy coffee machines & fruits. Since we traveled around (Avignon, Arles) it was a great home base, super calm & quiet. We really enjoyed it.

It's a Novotel, but can use a bit upgrade. What bugs me the most is the bed - it feels like temporary bed to me. The mattress is thin, and the bed frame is like the temporary ones. Pillows are strange with a crack in the middle. And the sheet cotton count is probably less than 120 thread count. Breakfast is good.

Located right in the center of Nimes few meters from the Arena and old city. Very large and clean rooms . We took a room for three and the sofa-bed was as good as a comfy full size bed. Breakfast is OK but you can also stroll down for a quick breakfast at a cafe terrace near the Arena.

One of the best hotel in Nimes, great location as positive, as negative the same "old" moquette, restaurant waiters very impolite and some kitchen problems: they used the same knife onion and dessert. Result: cream peach smelling and tasting onion!

Having stayed in other ACCOR hotels that were 5'star you can see the difference when you are in a 4 star hotel. They rooms are clean but the essentials toiletries are very meager or totally lacking. The beds are comfortable but very awkward to have two people navigate around the bed. One on side of the bed there less than 18 inches between the bed and a wall. This makes it very difficult for you to get in and out of the bed. With all that being said it is probably the best hotel located near th... Read more

Location of the Novotel Nimes is perfect. Close to some restaurants and shops, close to the Roman Arena. Although I only had time to spend one night here, I noticed that the staff was very helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. There was a couch in my room and I had a nice view out my window of the Gothic church next door. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The lobby bar/ lounge was a gathering place with the Eurocup soccer games playing on the big screen. Elevators were efficient. Bath... Read more

This hotel is located on the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle, a five minute walk from the famous Arènes de Nîmes. The hotel offers underground parking (12 euros per day) but spaced are very limited. We managed to find free parking on Rue Fenelon a few streets away. The room was clean and comfortable and had an excellent view as it looked directly over the Esplanade. The room offered tea/coffee making facilities and a complimentary bottle of water (a new one each day!). The breakfast was ok... Read more

If you would like to visit Nimes and be centrally located, the Novotel Atria Nimes Centre is the place. It sits on the edge of a beautiful park which flanks the famous Roman stadium. The beds are very comfortable...fairly unique for France where beds tend to be hard or thin on cushioning. The bathroom has a shower which is up to a US standard where the shower head while detachable actually stays put while you are showering and creates an experience of a normal shower. The staff are courteous. Br... Read more

Only needed one night in Nimes at just 24 hours notice as close to the Amphitheatre as possible. This hotel was the best combination of location (2 minute walk), price and assured quality - and availability. Room was as expected. Shower was not good - head located too low on wall (I am only average height); much better shower in Ibis Budget hotel in Le Mans.
