The hotel is very very shabby. In my opinion it is a 1 star at best. The management is very nice...but their english is limited. The room was rather disgusting. The carpeting looked like it was about 30 yrs old, the bathroom was super daterd with paint peeling off the walls and mold all lover the walls and curtain. The room does have a small balcony which is nice if there is a smoker with you. The one upside is the location is quite good and there is parking. But really..if you have a choice ...... Read more

Some of the reviews here really raised our expectations, and we were a bit disappointed when we first got to the hotel. But it is indeed a 2 star hotel, and amongst 2 star hotels, this is a good one. The staff was friendly and serviceable, the room was ok though quite old and worn out, the location was great and the breakfast for 8 euros was a bargain. Go there with the expectation of a 2-star hotel (which is what it is, and what they advertise), and you'll like it a lot. Go there with the expe... Read more

The location is great - just around the corner from the Arena of Nimes - and the price was right. And while everything was functional and clean, it was by no means new. The toilet rocked a bit when sat upon, and the tub was the smallest I'd ever seen. That being said, the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 4 nights at the hotel, room 410 and were very impressed with the position close to the center and also the train and bus terminal. On arrival we were given a list of places to eat and local information. The breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed the local wines and beers available at the bar. We could not have asked for a better hotel for our stay in Nimes. Not 2 stars but 5 stars.

I chose this hotel mainly because it had hundred of reviews averaging more than 4 stars, so I thought we couldnt go wrong. Its central, which is great, but the 5 parking spaces the hotel had were booked up so we had to park in a public underground parking nearby which cost over 20euros for the night (so it made the overall stay more expensive than planned as well). The hotel is very small, the lift didnt fit more than a squeezed adult with a pushchair. We were on the 4th floor. The room/suite wa... Read more

This property is in a great location, walking distance to all the sights and central part of the city. The rooms were very clean, large and breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very accommodating and spoke English and were able to advise of good places to eat at.

We stayed in this hotel very recently. It wasn't suitable for a family with a young baby as the lift was not working. So we had to carry everything up and down from the 4th floor which was a pain. The stairwell was very narrow and you were out of breath in the heat. Otherwise the hotel is clean and quiet and our room was nice. It was good to be central. There were convenient shops nearby (small supermarket, bakery, cafe).

We stayed here for one night and would have loved to stay longer. The room and bed were huge with lovely wood furniture. Each room has its own balcony, tea and coffee and a mini fridge. It has private secure parking and is only minutes walk from the heart of Nimes. Breakfast too was great but the owners are what make this hotel exceptional. Their care and concern for their guests comfort are only surpassed by their conversation. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Nimes.

The hotel is small, but well done. Large rooms with nice bath. Easy walk from train station and to city center. Wonderful staff. The Brit who runs the hotel was always helpful and knowledgeable. Nice standard French breakfast with croissants, pain au chocolate, cheeses, etc.
