Let's start with the good points: the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is good and the hotel is close to a tram stop. Like other travellers have mentioned the worst thing about this hotel is the terrible sound insulation - a student hostel I stayed in some years ago had better sound proofing! If you want to wake up in the morning hearing your neighbour using his toilet next door, this is the hotel for you.. Secondly the bathroom walls were peppered with moldy spots - I have included a coup... Read more

A Nice smaller hotel thats really close to everything you need. About a 15min walk to the main shopping street in Nice and 10min walk from the main esplanade. Right off the Tram rails so easy to navigate home and if you don't want to walk then the tram is right there!! Room was lovely and I'm glad the window opened because its nice to get some fresh air into your hotel room. Bed was really comfy!!

staff very friendly. Cleaning needs attention, there was a tin of opened tuna and an old sock on our balancing. Bath had hairs in it. Wifi is good. Very close to Old Town, beach and airport. Room was small but adequate for our stay.

Arrived at Nice airport 98 bus took us to within 2min walk of hotel. Staff at hotel go extra mile to help. Hotel and rooms spotless. Great location for old town, promenade a bit further but all walking distance but everyobe uses the superb tram system anyway. Bus 98 airport to nice ?6, bus 100 nice to monte carlo ?1.50, nice to cannes ?1.50, train to cannes approx ?7. Fantastic for couples.

This is a very well run hotel, centrally located, close to tram and bus lines and walkable distance to the Convention Centre, Theatre, Museums,'Old Nice' and Place Massena. I stayed for a week and felt entirely safe, as a woman travelling alone. The owners and staff are friendly, welcoming, and take an interest in their customers. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. The buffet breakfast has ample variety and was always closely monitored and replenished as needed.

The hotel is small but the rooms are big enough. It's located very close to the Tram station Acropolis and there are lots of small restaurants, shops, bakeries... close by. If you don't mind walking a bit to the beach or the harbour it's an excellent option.

There for the Euros. Room was small, the twin beds were pushed together so a bit cosy!! Also the room didn't have a safe or shower curtain in the shower but was clean and staff were nice and helpful. Wifi worked ok. Area was fine and short walk to old town.

We had a three night stay and found the rooms very nice and the staff extremely helpful. Not far to walk to restaurants, beach and shopping precinct and bus to Monaco a short easy walk also. Very nice breakfast with plenty of variety. We would stay again

I stayed there for a week while attending a convention at the Acropolis. It has a great location across the street from the Convention Center! and yet near to the old town and wonderful restaurants. The rooms are small and for those with a lot of electronics, there are not very many outlets. But the wonderful staff more than made up for it. The breakfast was a joyful surprise. Our stay was close to perfect!

This hotel is a rated a 3 star hotel and it felt like it. We were attending a convention across the street at the acropolis so we picked it for the location. If you are attending any kind of event there I would recommend this hotel but only for the location. The rooms were kept clean but they are extremely small. We had to crawl over our beds to get to the desk or get to the curtain in our room. The bathroom came with very minimal toiletries but at least had a decent shower/tub. The breakfast wa... Read more

We stay at the hotel for 2 days. Its close to Old Town, like 20 min. walking distance. The room was small, but it was ok for us. The service good! The continental breakfast was; breads, fruits, cereals, etc..expensive. The only thing that I didnt like was the walls of the bathroom, it was not clean. Besides that everything was good.

The hotel was quite good; the staff was really kind. We had problems to find a taxi from the Promenade des Anglais, two days after the attack, there was no taxi around and the hotel was not so near. It was late, around 1 o' clock am. The receptionist helped us to find one. The only negative aspect refers to dusty carpets in the room and the WC was not really clean.

The hotel Relais Acropolis is a very well placed hotel, close to the centre of Nice and only a few metres from the tram system. The staff are very polite, efficient and friendly. Breakfast is a simple and fair continental variety which was well worth paying for when we booked. Local shops and cafes provide plenty of good food to match any budget. Nice is beautiful, but it is very easy and cheap to jump on a train to Cannes or Monaco for the day. There is also a narrow gauge railway which takes y... Read more

Friendly welcome by the Receptionist and all other reception staff equally friendly throughout the stay. The hotel has a lovely airy, clean, boutiquey feel to it. Location was great, quiet street 5 mins walk to TRAM station.Breakfast plentiful options, very nice helpful lady in charge. All in all a great base for exploring the city for a good budget price. Would definitely recommend.

We wanted something not to expensive and near the city center for our holiday in Nice. Me and my boyfriend didn't have that high expectations, but our stay was fantastic! It took us about 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach, but the hotel was close to the old town, which was very good. If we didn't want to walk to the beach and to the shopping area, there was a nice tram/train right outside the hotel we could take. The room was simple but very clean and cosy. Rooms could've been bigger. More breakfast options would've been appreciated. Lifts would've been better if they went directly to your floor instead of in between floors. It made moving luggage more difficult.

Room was clean but very small for two people with cases. We were on a 3 week holiday and spent two nights here, so had a fair amount of gear and found the room too small. Could barely move around with the cases on the floor. However it is well located with decent service and would be ideal for a mini break if spending most of your time out of the room.

I booked up at the Relais Acropolis after seeing it on the EasyJet website as a package deal, however the hotel was a lot cheaper to book through and flights separately. Overall we were very pleased with our stay here and would stay again next time we go to Nice. To get there from the airport we got the 98 Bus to the last stop then it was a 7-10 minute walk to the hotel along a flat road. Overall, a good 3star hotel, well situated for Nice Villa and promenade des anglaise. Good continental breakfast, and helpful staff. Room good and exceptionally clean, which is main criteria. Only downside is bathroom needs updating. Shower leaking onto floor and tiles had lots of mould. However, cleaned daily with fresh towels which was good.

We spent 4 nights there. The rooms are so small, old furniture, toilette has a very bad condition. We asked them to change the room and that we are in our honeymoon but they didn't care. No parking available. You should walk 5 minutes to park in a parking for 1 euro per hour that's 24 euro per day. To arrive to the room you should take the scales first than the elevator than the scales. But the employees at the reception were very nice and always smiling.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with my aunt and would recommend it if you are looking for a convenient place to stay in Nice. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the breakfast was good value for money for 8 euros. Please note though it is as you would expect with being on the continent, continental which may not be to everyone's taste. The hotel is very clean and we had fresh towels every day. The hotel is very easy to get to from the 98 bus directly from the airport, although your bus ticket will get you even closer as it is valid on the tram too. It's situated very close to restaurants and a supermarket is just across the street. Plenty of shops nearby. The staff are fantastic, especially Audrey who speaks very good English! The room was typical European- small but functional. The continental breakfast was also convenient (at 12 Euro, you are definitely paying for convenience rather than the food). The location is perfect if you are attending a conference at the Acropolis across the street, and the tram is one block away, making the rest of the city easily accessible. However, the greatest attribute of the hotel is the personnel; I can't say enough positive things about the staff. Each time I asked a silly question,... Read more

We were only here one night, but our room was very modern and well appointed, with a full bathtub in the bathroom, which I loved.
