This hotel is well situated, clean and comfertable. Looking forward to come again soon but for a weekend or maybe for the holidays. Anyway, when I come to Nice it's in this hotel that I'll be staying. The beach at walking distance. The airport just close. The old Nice less than 20 minutes away. Very charming staff. What more does one need. ???

We stayed here in an emergency, our planned cycling trip fell through due to a broken bike and we were stuck in Nice with nowhere to stay and nowhere to store our bicycles. The owner looked after us from the moment we arrived, his attitude was brilliant and he was happy to provide us with support and drinks while we worked out what to do. He had a secure room for the bikes to be stored in and helped us to carry them downstairs. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet, and the hotel is in the... Read more

Stayed here for one night in a 3 person room and that was enough. After climbing three flights of stairs through the grey boarding house corridors we got to the room. The room itself was fine if small. The bathroom, although clean and well fitted, was tiny. To get to the toilet you had to go into the bathroom close the door to be able to get to the toilet which was behind the door !! The automatic window shutter did not work and on arrival a white sheet had been put over the window ! With a bri... Read more

A friend and I stayed in this hotel for 3nights, we went to cannes for the next 3 but wish we stayed in the flotsdazur the entire time as it was great. VERY clean which was the most important thing for me. The room was modern and bed comfy and the shower was great. Service was brilliant, Joseph and his daughter were really friendly and helpful, he made our stay extremely welcome. I intend to go back again as it is a beautiful place and will definitely stay here. The hotel is right in front of th... Read more

Arrived very early for my one nights stay prior to the half marathon, dropped off my bag before going to find some breakfast and collecting my number. Back at the hotel they very kindly allowed me to use my room one and half hours early. Then after the race the following morning delayed my check out for an hour so I could shower and change before leaving my bag behind while I made the most of the day. I wouldn't hesitate booking a stay here again if I go to Nice.

The staff was great and hospitable, the rooms were clean and updated, location was great (although it's a little bit of a walk to get to nearest restaurant), and breakfast was good. My only complaint is that the air conditioner didn't really work (and I had read this on another review about the a/c), which wouldn't have been a big problem, except that we had a room with a balcony that overlooked the ocean and VERY BUSY street below. Know that the street below is ALWAYS busy and to have to have... Read more

This well-placed and affordable hotel met our budget travel needs, including private parking on the busy promenade! The owner goes it alone, but makes up for it by learning your name and addressing every request responsively. Be warned that the basement rooms can be very damp. But no sign of smell of mildew.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and were treated like family by everyone. The owner, Joseph, is especially kind, genuine and helpful. Thanks to him we were able to plan our day trips to Cannes and Monaco with ease. He recommended what to do, how long to stay and what to see. While in Nice, he suggested delicious restaurants and put up with my millions of questions with a smile on his face! The hotel is newly renovated. The rooms have everything you need (AC, safe, mini fridge and wifi... Read more

I am slow walking so town was a good 40 minutes towalk to old town but number 22 bus opposite was easy to use for 1 euro 50 a ride or 5 euro a day. 98 bus from airport is 6 euro but easier than trying to use the other buses, again stops outside hotel. Welcoming from owner was great, room clean, modern and bed comfortable. Good hair drier, fridge, daily clean towels. They even provide mini toiletries.we had a front sea view room and as other reviews said from 8 am it was noisy but the views were... Read more

I have stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years and have to say its the personal touch that stands out every time. The personal touch in this hotel is Joseph the owner. He's a first class guy and excellent business owner. The hotel is in a perfect location. Easy walk to everything but still quiet enough for a good night sleep. I really enjoy this hotel. Its newly renovated and clean. Perfect views of the sea and a good breakfast. Thanks Joseph!

this hotel has a lot of charm and is located directly on the Promenade des Anglais. Also the hotel is very basic not very fancy, but clean and the rooms are spacious.. Joseph, the owner gave us info regarding planning our day trips; renting a car; and parking.. He added to the enjoyment of our stay at The Flots D'Azur and our visit to Nice, Fr. We wish him all the best with his hotel de charmant su la magnifique promenade.

Honestly the best feature about this hotel is the great location on the sea front. It's fairly basic but in good decorative condition throughout. Everything feels fairly new or well maintained. Bedroom was not large or fancy but good value. My main downside was having to carry our heavy suitcases up all those stairs to the top floor as the hotel apparently has no elevator. We were also not offered any assistance. It was ok for us but I remember thinking if my parents had been staying there ins... Read more
