Twin room. Very comfortable, and quiet room. I had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the courtyard, so no street noise. Only a few minutes walk to the main train station (Gare Nice-Ville) which has regular direct trains to Cannes and Monaco. The hotel is also located along the main tramline through the city, and near to bus stops. New en-suite bathroom was really nice, but could've done with having a shower curtain though to avoid a wet floor. My only complaint would be that I visited ... Read more

We were in room 501 and we had the more spacious of the rooms, with a double French door balcony, out of the 13 of us who travelled for a 4 night 5 day break. The beds were so comfortable we slept the minute our heads hit the pillows. There were tea and coffee facilities in our room but not all rooms had these. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. The air conditioning was in full working order so we were able to adjust it to suit our needs. The shower/tap did need some attent... Read more

We stayed here for three nights in a room with interior court view. Not so great view, but very quiet. Very clean, big room, big bathroom with a bathtub, quick check-in and check-out. Hotel is a 5 min walk to train station and about 15 min to brach. plenty of restaurants in the area, tea and coffee facility in the room. Good hotel for the money you pay. Would stay again here.

It's a shock to live in such a room with a baby ... We all fell sick in the last 2 days of our france trip breathing foul air.... The hotel should be inspected for this nuisance. The carpet in the room smells and has stains . We had to open a window to get fresh air for 5 minutes every hour. You can't do this because there's the noise from the tram below... and the area isn't the cleanest either. The air conditioning is a joke.. its either too cold or too hot even if you didn't touch the sett... Read more

My son and I stayed there for 2 nights. If you arrive Nice by air you can take the 99 express bus from the airport to the train station across the street. If you arrive by train you are already there or you can take the local bus 23 to the train station. The rooms were clean with a coffee maker, flat screen television, in room safe, comfortable beds and a most helpful staff at check in. The tram stop is right outside the hotel.I would give the hotel 4 stars and stay there again on our next visi... Read more

We had a two night stay at this hotel prior to going on a cruise ship. There was no breakfast included so we were happy to pay 12 euros each for breakfast. However, the first morning they had run out of scrambled egg and no more was forthcoming. The next day we were leaving to be taken by coach to our cruise ship in Savona, Italy, so knew we had to have a good breakfast as we would not have a chance to eat until late afternoon and my husband is diabetic. However, at 9.15 again there was no b... Read more

The hotel was located right by the train station and tram lines and within 10 minutes walking from the middle of the city - ideal location! Staff were friendly and happy to give advice re: transport, directions etc. The rooms were of an 'ok' size - a bit tired looking and had a 'smell' about them. Some stains on the carpet. The breakfast was basic.

Good value for money and great location. Staff were extremely helpful, especially with regards to the Euro 2016 venues that we wished to go to. Room was a bit small and quite hot. No shower curtain in bathroom, which caused minor floods each morning... But overall it was what we were looking for.

Not to be rude, but our hotel room was very disappointing. The only good thing was location as it was on the main street in the city centre. No fridge in the room. Car parking costs 36 euros per 24 h. Maximum 2 stars hotel. We had to wear our shoes all the time in the room as carpet was so dirty with oily stains that it was scary to step on it. When we were leaving we saw some other rooms- those were better - carpets were clean. Hotel needs renovation, but for 70 euros (pre booked ) its ok to sl... Read more

As soon as we walked into the room there was a strong smell of sewerage . Our room was directly across from the train station so it was extremely loud! We only had one flat pillow ! Not a good experience! About a 15 min walk to the beach hotel staff were friendly.

Free wifi, clean rooms, excellent beds, balcony with a view, and located in the very center of the city. We got so much more than we paid for! Friendly staff there, too ?? we felt very safe and comfortable at all times.

Close to the train station. Small, worn down room and bathroom with bathtub. Not clean. No refrigerator. Comfortable bed and linen. Very good service. Free Wi-fi works sometimes. We got a room facing the courtyard so we didn´t hear the trains. No pool. Small and expensive breakfast.

Liked the room but the carpet was absolutely disgusting. I wore flip flops and rarely let my bare feet touch the ground because of all the stains. The shower had some mold in the corners. But, it was right across from the train station so big plus! And the air conditioning was awesome!

Great staff, clean, tidy room, very fitting for us with a good view too. It's our first in Nice, but this hotel will give you the best that they can offer if you want to be very close to NiceVille Station, if you're planning to explore Monaco, just 30 minutes away from here, make sure you will buy a round trip tickets, it's valid to any hours you want to come back, if you want to see the beach and you're favorite restaurants, stores, just get out then turn left then walk up to Place Massena down... Had a good stay at the Kyriad hotel. it is very well situated on the main street, therefore everything is just a short walk away. Karim at the reception was helpful and friendly. If I get a chance to visit Nice again will definitely book again Salavdi

The room was fairly clean, except the carpet, which was covered with old stains and the air in the room wasn't fresh either. As the balcony faces the rail tracks and the street below, it was too noisy during the day to let some fresh air in! The bed however was very comfortable and stuff in reception were pleasant. It is convenient for travellers going somewhere further, one night stop rather than a holiday on the French Riviera.

Location is right opposite the tram stop on the main thoroughfare on one side and on the other side is a road and above that the main railway line out of the city. At street level there appears to be drunks across from the main entrance, we saw some of them dragging away some guy who was sleeping - charming place. Reception was OK and we didn't have breakfast, though I did go in one morning to get some milk, they apparently have a policy of only loading the room with toiletries and tea/coffee s... Read more

Good location with both train and airport-bus nearby. Also a "hop-on hop-off" bike station right across the street. I definitely recommend using the Nice bike-service. The standard of the room was good and the staff was helpful. Didn't try the breakfast. All in all, a decent hotel and good value for money.

The hotel is just 5 mins walking distance from the Nice Train station and just located at the intersection where the local tram station Called 'Gare Theirs' which facilitate easy movement to downtown Nice and other places if you don't prefer to walk. Convenience stores and many restaurants are in vicinity. The hotel room was not so great and as expected. The bath shower in the washroom was in the corner of that big washroom with open concept and the soap waters were not draining fast enough henc... Read more

Stayed 3 nights at the end of August. Staff welcoming and friendly. Good location for main station which was a couple of minutes walk and a 10 minute walk to the sea. Room was a good size and well air conditioned. Plain decor and clean. Bathroom had shower only with a shower curtain. Prefer bath personally. We would stay again.

We had a lovely stay here in August. The first thing is confirm which Kyriad you are staying at. there are two in Nice, our travel agent gave the address for both on different documents, which caused some last minute confusion! The staff on reception were very friendly, speaking perfect english. The room and bathroom were both lovely and cleaned to a very high standard. There was air conditioning in the room as well as a very tall window to allow in plenty of fresh air. The hotel has the tram ju... Read more

Came here with a tour group. Great location in Nice, right across from train station, tram stops right around the corner. 15 or so minute walk to the beach, plenty of grocery stores nearby, able to walk to main shopping street. Plenty of restuarants in walking Vicinity. The room itself basic, ours was clean but the entry way looked like it was damp and falling apart a little. Room was quite small to fit in 2 suitcases. Beds were comfortable. Shower was good however it had no shower curtain so t... Read more

Value for money. Very good location. U can walk to sea front in 15 minutes. Straight down to sea front. Very good food outlets. Get taxi from airport, if u r more than 3 people. Cheaper than public transport.

This is a good value mid-range hotel, with a great location 2 minutes walk from the station and at the top of the city's main shopping street. Airport bus leaves from nearby. Lots of bars, shops and restaurants. Promenade des Anglais and the Old Town are about a 10 minute walk. Rooms are cosy and beds are comfortable. Front desk staff were helpful. Only let down was the breakfast staff who were slow and lazy. Food was adequate.

Ok, so we did end up having a wonderful room, but that was due to my persuasive nature after we spent the first night of our holiday trying to sleep through the noise of a broken air conditioning unit that the staff insisted was fine. The upgraded room was great though, it was just a shame that I had to be so persuasive in order to get moved, despite it being the third time that we'd stayed at this hotel.
