We are back in Ireland one day earlier than planned thanks to Adagio Nice Acropolis. We booked a twin bed configuration and we assumed that this would not be a problem as we had no communication from the hotel to state otherwise. If we had been informed we would not have booked. When we pointed this out to the receptionist we were met with a disgraceful attitude from someone working in the service industry. The apartments are old and smell of a horrible cleaning agent, the building is in need ... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights in March. It's not difficult to find this Hotel. From Cote D'Azur airport, take bus 98 (6 euro p.p.) stops in Promenade des Arts. There you walk about 5-10 minutes along Boulevard Risso (north direction). The hotel is located across the Acropolis building. It's close to tram station Acropolis and Garibaldi, ~20 minutes walk to the Castle. We rent a studio room with 2x stoves, cutlery set, plates, microwave, and fridge. Bathroom is relative small: shower room and toilet in ... Read more

Staff very helpful. Rooms basic but adequate. Location really good - stroll down through Old Town to Promenade Des Anglais 20mts. Have stayed here before and will be staying again. Good value for money.

Good basic hotel, however the customer service left a lot to be desired. Some staff made us feel that we were an inconvenience. The rooftop pool was not available due to needing repair (big selling point when booking). Maps provided to railway station didn't make sense and were very faint. Also free wifi rubbish!! (Also good selling point when booking). Will not be staying here again.

The hotel is about 15-20 minutes to Promenade des Anglais and about 10min to the port. The bed in the double room is very small for two people. Another friend booked a single room and the bed was the same size so its good if you are staying in a single room. He even got a bigger room than us (double). would recommend for solo travellers but not for couples. You also need to pay for changing towels. first time only is free which I found a bit weird. However, staff were helpful whenever we asked f... Read more

The hotel was very clean good parking if you book a spot in advance. The room was very good with tv ,fridge ,cooker , coffee machine and microwave. all very neat and compact. An excellent hotel for exploring Nice very close to the Tram which runs every 10mins or so and costs only 1.50 euros from beginning to end of line. Can highly recommend this hotel.

My partner & I stayed at this one recently. We had recently stayed at a Adagio Aparthotel in Marseille and we found that one way better. We thought this Nice one was going to be more or less the same but no. The rooms really needed an upgrading, a coat of paint, new flooring, the showers needed doing up. The only upside of this was the reception staff were always there to be so helpful, courteous and friendly. We initially paid for a superior room and when we checked in it had a balcony whi... I had a conference at the Acropolis. I literally could not have had a more convenient location. The room was basic, but clean, with warm water, comfortable bed and felt secure. There was a supermarket close by, a short walk into town, close to restaurants, to the train station and was a very convenient no-frills option.

Travelled here as 2 couples mid June for 6 nights for Euro 16. This hotel is basic but clean , OK shower fridge AC and 2 cooking rings decent bed also. Good location 10 mins walk to old town or15 mins walk to the sea front. Staff friendly and answered all our queries with ease. Bought breakfast first morning it was just OK. Large supermarket 3 blocks down ( carrefour )but very handy clean friendly shop 30 seconds from hotel just turn left . Also Nice is beautiful!

We had booked this hotel as a stopover on our way to Italy. Called on the way to find out if there was any parking space available - only to be told in a very unhelpful tone no. With no recommendation as to where to park. There is a public car park about 800m away. The room itself felt like a student accomodation. Small bed for two. Run down bathroom. For about 100â?¬. Outrageous. Absolutely awful coffee at breakfast. Any saving grace? 10min walking distance from the Vieux Nice quarter.

Loved staying in this apartment/hotel. The room, though quite small, had all the basics: balcony, TV, kitchenette with stove, microwave, fridge, plates, pots and pans, cutlery, and a coffee maker. It allowed me to prepare many quick meals during my long stay in Nice. The hotel has a small pool and a an area for sunbathing, which is nice if one wants to grab some sun without having to go to the beach, which is about a 20 mn walk from the hotel. The location is excellent and very central, and allo... Read more

I booked here for a business trip to a conference in Nice. Two hours before I was supposed to leave, I got a call that my sister was in the hospital and going to have brain surgery the next day. Needless to say I cancelled my trip because I did not want to be out of the country when my sister was in such a condition. I was able to get a full refund from Delta for my non-refundable $2,000 flight based on an emergency situation. I contacted Adagio thinking they would do the same, but they were inf... Read more

Being a two star hotel there isn't much you can moan about when it comes to this hotel. It was clean, tidy and the roof top pool was a nice addition. The best thing about it was probably the short walk through the old town and down to the sea front. From the beach to hotel you are looking at a 20-25 min walk but it was a good one to take with lots to see. The thing that got me about this hotel is that we requested a twin room but we were given a double. The staff were not fussed about this and ... Read more

Although it is conveniently located near the Acropolis in the city center, it is somehow an ageing facility with difficult access and challenging parking opportunities if you are driving there. The staff is ok, but the rooms are small, not very neat (stains and various prints and marks on the walls...), let's say of a basic standard. They sell a room for 4 adults with a small double bed ( definitely not for 2 adults!) and a sofa with 2 single 'beds'. Not even prepared, we had to make the 4th bed... Read more

Good location safe and convenient, little kitchen in room and very near supermarket so we prepared our breakfast easily and cheaper, it was clean, if you re big man like me (190 cm) bed is a bit small for couple. But it is ok. If i go nice again, i stay here. but maybe i prefer deluxe room which is more larger.

Only thing I can say good about that hotel, is location. Everything else was poor. First we have to wait a hour sign in (at the evening) with two little babies, and they was very tired already after a flight. Room smells like a pizzeria, shower was poor and the next day we didn't even get to the roof top pool, cause the door was broken.

Hotel is ugly, spartan and expensive. The main problem though was that after booking a twin room (requesting this on booking, to be fair) I was given a cramped double bed only for me and my friend to share. This would be understandable as they do say 'subject to availability' except that I had booked two separate reservations for consecutive nights after making a mistake and so had another friend of mine, and on none of these room bookings did we get separate beds. That puts the hotel on 0/4 for... Read more

Great homely hotel in the heart of Nice, close to all of the trains, trams, busses and walking distance from tranquil little French café settings for a quick eat or long glass of wine. Hosts are friendly and caters for all your needs. Easy to get to the airport with a shuttle. Make sure to arrange for daily cleaning of the rooms as it is not necessarily included in your package. Good value for money.
