Had two nights here. Got a room on 7th floor next to the elevator. Was a little bit concern for noise. But heard absolutely nothing, as soon as we closed the door to the room is was no sound to hear. Our room was one of the smallest in the hotel, but had a great bed, small but nice bathroom an we go a good nights sleep. Breakfast is not big but has fresh bread, freshly squeezed orange juice an it all is fresh and clean. Breakfast it's complementary and the same are tea and coffee all day in ... Read more

I'd have preferred the option of a simple `good' rather than `very good,' but I had no real problems with this hotel. It's very central in the old town near all the main tram lines, yet it's very quiet. I see other reviews complaining about noise but I Ihardly heard a thing. My room was small and simple but very clean. Lobby is modern and welcoming, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet was pretty good by continental standard - plenty of fruit, yogurt, cereals and breads, maybe a bit ... Read more

Noise from outside and elevator and doors next to one another. Need some attention. Breakfast is continental mostly, enough of those jam and bread, were are the proteins? Where it is located it needs a bit more attention. Nantes is a wonderful city and need to keep its high standarts. Good for a night or two. The city wants car free city center and a nightmare to park and a reduction in business cause pedestrians are not all business economics generators. Where is the balance?

Arrived at our hotel on Tuesday 20th and checked in to the news that there was an issue with the air con in the entire hotel.... so basically... it wasn't working.. and wouldn't be until the end of September! Room was small and so we opened both Windows.... much to out absolute detriment. We were basically eaten alive by mosquitos ... and it then made sense what the red stripes were a over the ceiling .... mosquito blood!!!! Not going to go into detail but upon check out I asked the following... Read more

After a long day driving we stopped here for the night, the reception are was nice and modern, the receptionist was really helpful. Rooms however were disappointing, They were rather shabby and not very clean, my daughter even found some clothing from the previous occupant! The air con didn't work very well. We only had one bath towel in the room, soon rectified. The bedding was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Very good value for money , staff very friendly but I really think IBIS management should really consider summer conditions and impact on their provided services ! During my stay A/Cs in all rooms were out of order the thing that cause me a lot of discomfort in addition to the miss information I received when I booked as the AD says rooms are all air conditioned .

We had booked a room at the Ibis Styles Graslin and after parking our car we arrived at the hotel to be told they had a problem with some rooms and asked if we could move to another Ibis Styles nearby!!! With no real choice we accepted to go there and luckily one of the staff offered to show us the way. It was about 150 yards further on but at least we had a room. Checkin was quick, room was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was in the basement and was fine, especially liked the fresh o.j. The area ... Read more

I spent a night in this hotel located in the center of Nantes. My room was on the sixth floor on the back. The heating system did not work properly and the bed was average in comfort. My room was quite small. Breakfast was OK but lacked some choice of food. Average hotel in my opinion.

When the trams are running (which was fairly sporadic during my most recent visit due to labor unrest, but they have been very reliable during my other visits), it would be hard to find a better location in Nantes. The hotel is about a block from the Commerce tram stop, which is at the center of Nantes. The Place Royale and surrounding streets make a delightful area to shop and hang out. The hotel itself is rather tired, but the rates are reasonable, and everything is serviceable. As with al... Read more
