On our way from England to Italy we stayed here. While the room was ok, well exept to far from reception and dining room and on the top floor which is bad when you are disabled ... everything else was not. The carpets etc in the hallways were filthy. The staff were not very helpful, when our key didn't work we had to return to reception twice for re-programing and when it still didn't work we were gratefull that a fellow traveller took the key and then insited that one of the staff came upst... Hotel right in the heart of Metz, although it was over an hour away from Verdun. Friendly staff, all of whom spoke good English. Very comfortable, modern rooms with all the usual facilities. Plenty of choice at breakfast time and we dined in the hotel every night where there was an excellent menu and every meal was thoroughly enjoyed. Only complaint was the lift because we were a coach party that arrived late at night, there was no porterage and only one small lift!

I stayed for 3 weeks in this hotel in March. The rooms are spacious but the carpets are filthy. The room was not properly cleaned a few times during my stay (they didn't empty the trash, renew shampoo or mini bar supplies). There is a disgusting smell in the corridors of the third floor. The restaurant serves excellent food, unfortunately the service is very bad. It will take them forever to come take your order, and even longer to bring you the bill.

we stayed one night due to a trip, we were on our motorcycles, the hotel was pretty much centre but the parking was terrible for accessing, we had all our motorcycle gear and had to carry approx. half mile, not the best, it was clean in the hotel but the bar was ridiculous prices, would pick there to stay again even through the room price was reasonable.

The best thing about this hotel is its bull's eye location in the heart of Metz. It has some rather good features and quite a few failings. First: the good things: there is a substantial parking garage underneath the hotel-assuming you can get to it, and the hotel offers a slightly discounted rate for parking there. The breakfast buffet is slightly above average, although they might try another brand of coffee beans. Rooms are quite large, and we had a partial view of the magnificent cathedral. ... Read more

Location of the hotel is very good since it is located pretty much in the city center of Metz but this is pretty much the only positive thing we noticed. It seems the entire hotel needs a refurbishment. Room was NOT clean (dust, hairs) - which is a no-go. Value/Price range is bad.

A very relaxing hotel with great amenities including excellent wifi , choice of tv channels in the room , fitness centre and pool. Staff were superb in dealing with any requests and the hotel is situated in perfect central area without being noisy at night. All in all a great stay in a lovely city. Merci Becoup

I stayed here two nights after negative experience with other hotels in the region. So I was prepared to find something below average standard and surprised in a positive way. The room looked good, not dirty or worn out. Breakfast was okay. The shopping center close to the Hotel looks a little dodgy but if you leave it you are right in the middle of Metz. Parking is tricky, first I did not find in and then not out. The ticket machine did not provide a receipt - problem for my travel expenses... Read more

There was limited lifts to the hotel reception, when you have a group of elderly people they cannot use the stairs. The stairs were not lit and on arrival the door was locked so anyone able to walk had to wait for them to unlock. The staff were rude and dinner was basic and no one was happy there. WOULD NOT GO THERE AGAIN BY CHOICE.

Just coming from Novotel München, they know their way around customer satisfaction in Metz. Very, very friendly and service minded. The rooms are great, so is the location and so is the price. I would come back

The location of this hotel is excellent. A couple of minutes stroll to a huge selection of wonderful restaurants on the doorstep. The swimming pool is a bonus but does get crowded when the weather is good. The bar staff were very pleasant too.

We have stayed here before, some years ago, friendly staff. Reception is in the first floor and car parking is next door in the complex. You can access the hotel from the car park. We enjoyed the food in the evening and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed on the third floor and found the room very quite. We would stay here again.

Not by choice we had an overnight stop at this hotel on the way home from a week in Austria. The hotel was pre booked by our tour operator who informed the hotel that both myself and my wife had mobility problems. Where was our room? On the 2nd floor, with no lift! I went to reception and explained our mobility problems. She (the receptionist) walked away, came back a while later and bluntly said, 'give me your room card!' She then tossed another room card into the desk and said, 'here is your n... Read more

Floor in the room looked very dirty and carpets and furniture have stain. Though the room were clean it looked very dirty and actually don't feel like your in 4* hotel. Breakfast is ok , people in the reception were helpful.
