The Premiere Classe Marseille Centre is NOT a luxury hotel, and really isnâ??t â??First Classâ?? as its name might like to suggest. However, the rooms are ok (quite clean), the staff are friendly, and the location is good (10 mins to the old port, or less). For the rate I paid (less than EUR 30!) I was very content and would happily stay here again if I was on a budget.

Ideally placed just below the trendy Cours Julien (bars/restaurants), close to the Metro, and an easy walk to the Vielle Port. My room was simple and clean, with an en-suite bathroom. The team on reception were very helpful and friendly. Outstanding value for money. T.V., free Wi-Fi.

Staff wasn't very friendly, room smelt of cigarettes and was very poorly lit, bathtub and sink had damage and hadn't been really properly cleaned. You could hear any small noise from the other rooms and from the corridor. On the plus side, there wasn't much noise of traffic, my room had a little (although very dirty) balcony, the sheets were clean, the bed was pretty comfortable, the wifi worked very well, the location is pretty good, and, all in all, I was able to have an alright stay at this ... Misérable, run down, dirty hôtel. The advance booking rate on their web site was substantially higher than the official rate posted at the desk. Poor location just off rue de Rome. No décent restaurants nearby. Avoid.

I was there for a week, for business. It's well situated, not far Fromm the "Vieux Port" and the famous "Canebiere", no restaurant, but a coppious breakfast for only 5,90â?¬ , you also can leave your car in the parking for only 6â?¬ per day. The one bedded room is big enough, with a bathroom, you also can ask for a Wi-Fi connection.

The hotel is run down. The room smelled bad. The bathroom was dirty. The AC never worked. When I asked the front desk fix it, the attendant held at me and didn't answer it. They lied saying that they turned the AC on. I asked to talk to a manager, they never allowed me too. The street was very noisy, so as we opened the window to survive the heat, we could not sleep because of the noise. Very bad experience!!! Avoid at all cost this hotel.

Stayed here for one night and I was impressed. Although it's listed as a 2 star hotel, I would stay here again. The room is very basic, has a TV, a bathroom and air conditioning. Should note that there is only one power point. There is a shelving unit to store your items but no safe to put your valuables away. The bed itself was very comfortable, I had a long journey via Eurostar and went to sleep pretty much straight away and woke up fully refreshed. Although the weather was extremely warm, I... Read more

Very good location for old port and close to trams and metro to be able to get anywhere quickly. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Secure underground parking excellent and worth every penny. Peaceful courtyard at back to unwind at the end of a busy day sightseeing.

I stayed here for one night when England played Russia during Euro 2016. The room seemed a bit dated but was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. I didn't explore the surrounding area but the hotel is within 5 minutes walk of the metro station where there were a few bars and food outlets. I didn't try the breakfast as I had an early departure the next morning but it seemed to be reasonable value for money. The staff on the reception desk were pleasant and helpful and arranged to open th... Read more

This hotel does not offer a lot of services but have a great location, good beds, friendly staff and clean rooms. If that is all you need, you should go for this hotel. The only negative thing I can say is that the breakfast is absolutely rubbish. I would rather eat at a nice cafe outside. But when I expressed my disappointed with the breakfast I was given the opportunity to cancel breakfast the rest of the days and get money back. So no worries then! :)

This hotel is in a good location - 5-10 minutes' walk to the port area. The hotel itself is slightly dated and could do with a bit of renovation, but it's a budget hotel so you get what you pay for. Breakfast was also good and very cheap. I'd recommend this place if you're on a budget and want to stay central.

the hotel is in a great location, complete with a medium sized grocery store 1 block away. what you get is pretty basic. a room with bed and bathroom. bed was clean. floors were not (some gummy substance in several locations). It is really hit or miss with pretty strong smell of cigarettes around the hotel (e.g. elevators, hallways). no tv remote to be found. wifi was down (but was resolved the next day)I arrived late on the 19th and the gentleman on duty was most egregious and unpleasant....
