Nice hotel with amazing central location with easy walk to main harbour and city centre. Very modern hotel spotlessly clean and amazing service. Lovely pool area. It should be said that it is very modern with allot of modern art. I can recognise modern art but I am not really a fan so that element put me off. Apart from that an amazing hotel.

Fantastic hotel, good WIFI service all over the property, a decent sized pool near the bar area that gets good sunlight all day. The pool is possibly a little immediately close to the restaurant area, but space is used to maximum effect on the property. All staff were excellent, rooms were clean and serviced daily. Excellent value for money and we are looking to return either this year or definitely next as we loved Marseille and the hotel helped.

Very fancy and funny hotel. Room 2113 was fantastic, large with funny art pictues. Safe car park just underneath. Hotel situated close to palais des pharo and within walking distance from vieux port. Also close public transport to calanques.

Good hotel situated at the end of the old port of Marseille. Close enough to the center but in a quieter location. The garden of Pharo is opposite the hotel. A little oasis in a big city. The room was comfortable and quiet. Nice modern decor. The bathroom was fresh and modern with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries from l'Occitane. The outside terrace by the pool was relaxing. The pool might get over crowded in the summer as it is not big. But in June it was nice to relax outside. The staff... Read more

Lovely hotel. A little walk from the port but if you are fit and healthy it's no problem to walk it. Try to walk to the other side of port as we found those restaurants/bars nicer. Opposite Sofitel which had a roof top bar and drinks were the same as Our hotel. Pool was a welcome break after all our walking. We took the train to notre dame which was nice. Also hotel is very close to a beach if you like that. All in all very happy.

We stayed at the the New Hotel of Marseilles on a business/pleasure trip. Let me first say the Marseilles is a jewel of a city with a melting pot of cultures that is second to none. As the citizens of Marseilles feel this city first- citizen of France second. The hotel is a perfect setting and is close to the Le Vieux - Port (the old port), you can walk to the port from the hotel and we did every day of our five days there. The rooms are on par with what you would expect at a high end hotel ... Read more

The hotel is nice, clean and situated in a beautiful and calm area close to the port. The best part was the staff: friendly, professional and very service minded. Would definetely recommend this hotel, and stay here again if I return to this wonderful city.

- The hotel is just up the road from the main port tourist area so it's a good location: not far from the bars and restaurants but tucked away a bit so it's quieter - If you walk in the opposite direction the beach is very close to the hotel - Opposite the hotel is the palais du pharo which is a hidden gem! The gardens are a nice place to sit and the views across the port are stunning! We took a picnic and watched the sun set over the sea. - The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful - T... We stay there for four days in may, and we suggest that you book room with these huge balcony on top floor. Nice room with separate wc. Average breakfast menu for high price/18 euro each, and in may the pool was not temperated/16 celsius something that was very disapointed when the web site didn`t tell any thing about that. Very helpfull englishspeaking staff in the reception. A great thanks to you all. Just great staff, and the same for the the girl from Kenya in breakfast restaurant. Visiting ... Read more

It was a whirlwind trip to Marseille which we did little but the hotel was definitely a high point of the trip as it was a very lovely stay. The suite room had good bedding and amenities well thought to ensure guests get restful sleeps and home comforts with a large balcony, sitting area and a big bathroom with his-and-her wash basins, bathtub and a separate showers stall. The bar and cafe serves high quality F&B too. We had private transport to everywhere so I am unsure how conveniently loca... Read more

I had read many reviews on this hotel before going there. It received mixed reviews. I stayed there for 11 days and I think that I had the best room in the house. It was 4th floor facing the pool in the corner. The room was terrific. I paid for the superior room with the balcony. It was worth the upgrade. The service was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool area was nice. My air conditioner worked fine. all in all it was a wonderful stay and I would recommend the hotel. The ... Read more

Hotel is located in the Vieux Port at walking distance to the old part of the city and there is also a beach and Vallon des Auffes on the other side with excellent seafood restaurants. Hotel was very clean and everyone was very friendly and helpfull. We haven't had dinner but breakfast was awesome. The decor in the hotel is very artsy, something you won't see everyday. I will reccomend this place to my friends.

Not having been in Marseille before, I wanted an affordable hotel not far from the old port. With wifi, airco and pool. The room feels spacious. The pool has umbrellas and sunbeds. The staff removed the items from the fridge, and we have our own things for breakfast. There are two busses nearby that go to the port and train station. The walk to the port goes past hughway like bits, but cross to the other side and the port is some 10-15 minutes away.

Hotel is located 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 min walk to Vieux Port in opposite direction. Modern friendly hotel where all staff were very friendly - special mention to Dania? (hope I have her name correct) on reception who was extremely helpful in helping arrange train tickets and was always happy and friendly. Pool is small, but not an issue for us in September as rarely anyone in it - and pool water was fresh and clean. Pool towels available from bar. Supermarket within 5 min walk - be... Read more

Lovely modern hotel with friendly staff . we found pool area quite crowded with limited sun loungers so never got to lay around , quick dip only which was a bummer. We had a great balcony off our room though with sun chairs so that helped. Very clean. Only down fall was that its mentioned there is a nespresso machine in room which was one of the reasons we opted this rom , only to be informed there is a 2.50 euro charge per pod ( no milk supplied). Very steep considering its .37 cents to purcha... Read more

Very nice hotel, located near the old harbor. Nice and clean rooms but very warm inside. AC wasn't working. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff who will guide you to nice restaurants in the neighborhood.

I arrived yesterday and was delighted by the location, the staff friendliness, decor and whole ambiance. I am however, terribly dissappointed by the fact that the excessive heat in the central system makes the rooms impossible to be in, let alone sleep!!! It only takes a walk to the bathroom, to build up a sweat. I am usually cold, & even sleep with socks on, so this might give you an idea of how hot it actually is. I am surprised that even after we have reported it (traveling with a group) we ... Read more
