We arrived on a very wind afternoon, the outside of the hotel could do with some tarting up, however inside charming French hotel. Big room on the front with amazing sea and coastal views, bed was comfy and plenty of room. Only down side the room we stayed in smelt abit musty, however we opened the Windows and sea breeze sorted that out! Bit of a walk to the port were you will find all the bars and restaurantes, take your wallet you will need it.

We loved our stay at Le Rhul, the Mediteranean sea across the road, what a great outlook. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, looks like they have recently been renovated, and a are very modern. You can park your car there, but you must book because there are only 4 garages. 5 Euro's per day. Marseille city is easy to get to on the local bus.

View was fantastic by the seafront. No hotel bar and not much in the room. Seemed some of room was missing. Staff would not let us pay before 8 am However staff were very friendly even though I understood not a word. Not a lot going on in marseille

You can't beat the view at this place. I would stay here forever just for that. The room was simple but clean and the bathroom was newly renovated. The biggest downfall for me was the bed - very uncomfortable. That said, I would stay here again.

If you are staying more than 2 or 3 nights, it would be better off from the center. Here is good location with bus 83(or 583, night bus of 83) and has great view. You can walk to the center for 40-50m, but you will enjoy the view alongside the ocean. (By bus too) Most importantly it is cheap. However, you maybe need take some water and snacks with you if you are not willing to pay for breakfast. It is not about its quality, basically, but Marseille is a very expensive city. Enjoy!

We booked reservations at Le Rhul during our stay in Marseille, we were excited to go try their boullabaise and other seafood specialties. We try to always look for good, quality restaurants where locals go, trying to avoid high traffic tourist places. We were told the place was perfect because of the views and trendy crowd. When we got there the place was almost empty, and it is a bit rundown. The boullabaise was not what we expected, not bad, but not what we thought it would be. The rest of t... Read more
