We stayed at this marvelous property in late December. It is one of the best five star hotels I have ever stayed in. We had an upgrade to a King Deluxe through a program we are in. The room had a large terrace and overlooked the port and had a direct view of the Notre Dame basilica. Stunning views! Room was quiet, comfortable, and had a great bath and shower. The staff is very attentive in this renovated historical property and it glistens. Rooms are beautiful, common areas lovely. An extremely ... Read more

had everything promised on arrival, staff were great to us for our visit and was a clean hotel, close to all the amenities and not hard to find, lovely area around the hotel also for stretching the legs in the morning before breakfast, would visit again!

Great hotel in Marseille. I loved the location close to the port and the Mucem museum which I visited after my business meetings in town. Rooms are well appointed and staff goes the extra miles. This looks like a perfectly managed property. Opt for rooms over the Notre Dame de la Garde.

Travelled with my wife and stayed for 3 nights. I was working but my wife enjoyed the hotel during the day. Plus points were the staff who were excellent and spoke wonderful English. The room, which we upgraded to the top floor and had views of the port. The room itself. Spotless and clean (although the pillows were a little too soft). The spa which my wife used during the day (although she said the pool was a little shallow). The restaurant we dined in was excellent (if a little expensive) as w... Read more

Arrived late at night, very tired and worn out. Front Desk Representative caught on to my jet lag and checked me in efficiently and quickly. Room was well appointed and laid out functionally. Only complaint was a faint musky smell and what turned out (after a good rest) to be an underwhelming, interior view. But I did have a good room rate. The concierge was extremely helpful and provided me with an accurate, thoughtful recommendation (I had forgotten to pack several items) nearby--it was a... Read more

We stayed at this property on our first visit to the lovely city of Marseille. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, capturing the European old world charm with modern amenities. However the service standards are so incredibly poor it makes one wonder if the people running the hotel are aware of a thing called social media and that they're not operating in a vacuum. Check in: This was our first stay at an intercontinental property in Europe. At check in, we enquired if it would be possib... Read more

Stunning location and hotel that is super modern and beautiful. Great location with staff that speak English and that are helpful and friendly. The gym needs a bit of an upgrade but that would be the only feedback. Loved it.

Shocked by brunch service... stayed in this hotel for a night, all was great except service quality in such an excelent place was super bad, restaurant was empty, but waiters did not give us even the minimum of atention. i would nit recomend this restaurant, there is plenty cozy places, family restaurants, cheaper and more worth atention.

Our room was lovely, spacious and clean. Great views of the old port from this hotel and the terrace. It was a short walk to the old port and all the front of house and cleaning staff were lovely. The only let down was at breakfast. The staff were a bit slow and we had to request something as simple as toast for our daughter as there was no toaster in the buffet area. I also heard other families having this dilema

Difficult to compare to anything existing; the old hospital Hotel Dieu transformed into a luxury hotel with an unbeatable view on the Vieux Port of Marseille. I believe all rooms face the old port, impossible to imagine such rooms having served as hospital facility. Superb staff, superb reception, superb service, fantastic ambiance, in short; can not think of anything to be imroved
