I just stayed one night on May 2 and I asked for an early wake-up call at 6.45h. I prepaid my night including the breakfast. The wake-up was not made and I waked up by myself. I quickly picked a crescent at the buffet and a cup of coffee leaving the cup roughly full as I swallowed just some drops in order to ask for a taxi to take my train on time at St. Charles station. Disappointing.

Have been a member of ACCOR group for ages now, but have never experienced anything like that. Location is indeed pretty good, took us ard 15 mins walking from Central Station and ard same to the city center/old harbor area. But here all the advantages are over. Room was super dirty, hair was everywhere in the bathroom, like everywhere. Shower was broken and repaired not before we checked in, but several hours before we checked out (stayed 3 nights!!!).To switch on the light in the bathroom took... Read more

This is the second time that I stay at this hotel. The first time was with my family and now it was with a group of friends. On both occasions I found this little hotel just great. The rooms are comfortable and clean and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely positioned for the station and the harbour and the breakfast is really good. The only reason I am not giving 5 star is because a little fridge in the rooms would be great!

Stayed here for 3 nights towards the end of April with friends. We booked 2 rooms between the 4 of us at a cost of around 70 Euros per night which is a good price for the location. The rooms were small but perfectly comfortable. TV worked fine, air con/heating all fine. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Noise levels fairly good although the tram that runs down the road outside the front of the hotel early in the morning can be 'felt' rather than heard if you are a light sleeper; my wife didn't... Hmmmm, it's ok if you are on a very very tight budget. The rooms are old and a bit smelly. They don't seemed to keep them properly, like the door handle of the washroom was broken, the beds are not made, so you have to make the bed yourself. The washrooms have a terrible layout. The toilet is so close to the wall that if you are tall you won't be able to do your business pleasantly. The staff was helpful and nice and the location was great, close to everything. You have to use the lockers on the... Read more

Good location, short walk to the port, close to a couple of supermarkets. A small room (but normal for Ibis Budget) but clean, great bed, good shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Tram stop outside hotel, buses nearby.

Ibis Marseille Centre Vieux Port is a straightforward 10-minute walk from the main train station. Good central city centre location, with close proximity to tram and Metro lines. While the room was basic, it was clean and came with everything needed for a short stay in Marseille, including free wifi for 24 hours. Although I didn't hang around for breakfast, the continental-style buffet for around â?¬9 looked like decent value.

the rooms are normal IBIS and ntg to note nor complain except see below one item on the bed; the team are great, happy welcoming and hospitable.... no issues but 1; the horrible drain odour needs action; not just a gallic shrug and ''its outside beyond our control, but we have complained''; SURELY some fresheners and some efforts to cover it could be made better; Plus first impressions were v poor at the entrance on top of this...dirty doors, something sticky on the glass, and refuse all over th... Not a very special IBIS, room small, no outlook, close to harbour. The hotel is not far from the marina and plenty of places to eat, the port area is 15 minutes walk with the city centre about the same distance. The hotel is small with very small rooms and parking is about 2 minutes walk away. it was fine for one night but not as good as other cheaper IBIS hotels we used during our trip.

The lobby/reception area stinks.. The bathrooms are bad.. The rooms barely have Windows... It's a 2 star hotel.. There are no safes in the room nor is there a cupboard.. It's just an open rack.. I asked for an iron.. I had to go down personally to collect it.. 1 person at the reception handles most of the show... The house keeping staff used to make so much noise in the morning..they even entered our room before we could even reply to their knock.. We had to stay there because of the exorbitant ... Read more

Another excellent Ibis, usual standard, small but perfectly adequate room, helpful and friendly staff. What is particularly good about this Ibis is its location, just a 5 minute stroll to the Vieux Port with its many bars and restaurants. Great value for money and perfect for a short stay in Marseille.

Hotel is equipped with everything I need. As it was our first time in Marseille, and we do not mind walking, we found that the hotel was near to all the attractions that we have planned in our itinerary.

fine place at fine location; take lower floor as only one 2 persons lift serves 8 floors (and dine at La Manne or Table Casimir or fruit du mer Toinou; and don't forget so lively market at metro Noailles)
