This hotel is located in the very center on the city and has the best view on Notre-Dame and Old Port from all the rooms. It a little bit expensive but worth it. Breakfast is included - you will enjoy in on the terrace with the best view. There is no elevator.

This was my first visit to Marseille. My husband and I took a high speed train from Paris to Marseille. We walked to the hotel from the train station, a nice easy walk wit6h back packs. The hotel was delightful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Our room faced the old harbor, the view was great!!!!! We will definitely be going back!!!!

We adored this hotel. Me and my elderly father thought it was like the France we knew many years ago! Fab creatives toiling in the bar writing sheet music!! Thank you do much to the fab staff. Helpful but not intrusive! Even the taxis on strike were helpful! Vive la restance!!@

Great hotel in a fantastic location close to a great selection of bars/restaurants. Room was basic but clean with a great view over the port. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ideal base for a short stay in Marseille.

My husband and I booked to stay in the Hotel Bellevue for a week at the end of May: we booked a superior room and the view was spectacular. The hotel has a fantastic location around the historic port of Marseille and looks over to the Notre Dame de la Garde. There are lots of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The port area of Marseille is very lively, particularly on weekends, and it's great to look out and see and hear the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our room was very clea... Read more

From the reviews, to booking and checkin , the process was faultless. The staff were brilliant and enhanced a short stay for us. It is a budget hotel and has no lift but more than makes up for it with a dinning room/bar area with a veranda that over looks the port. We journied via the tgv and it was about 15euros taxi ride from the station. If you have time head towards the shopping area le Docks near the main port. Excellent boutique style shops. Thank you for my stay

I loved Hotel Bellevue! Great location with an amazing view of the port. Everyone that worked there was fantastic and helpful and the room was amazing. Before booking I had read reviews about the lack of an elevator and the bathrooms. The climb was nothing and the bathroom/rooms were fantastic. I would stay here again and recommend it to everyone I know!

We stayed for one night en route to Corsica. We couldn't have asked for a better location in marseille. Each room had fabulous views over the quay towards Notre dame basilica. The hotel is small and friendly with a cafe on the first floor which is full of atmosphere. It's an old building so don't expect huge rooms or a lift but for the location and views, it's worth it.

The Bellevue takes us back to an Old World Europe: our large family party loved having breakfasts, lunches, and late-night drinks in its heavenly 30s-era bar with balconies and big French windows offering staggering views of the port and the city hills. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been newly renovated, and on this blistering late July weekend, were cool clean refuges, but the rest of the hotel has lost none of its bohemian charm.

The position of this hotel is good, right in the old port. Views are great. Medium size rooms all start on the second floor. There is lunch available but no evening meal just the bar. The food was above average and not the usual tourist meals. The stairs are steep but worth the climb. We would definitely stay there again. Rooms were very clean with lovely liquid soap and shampoo. But if you need a lift and can't walk up stairs don't go.

We spent two wonderful nights at the Hotel Belle Vue - friendly attentive staff - spotless spacious room - worth a little extra for a view of the port - breakfast served at our table on the small balcony with the amazing view - a refreshing change from the usual self service - if you just fancy something light in the evening you can order cold platters of fish meat & cheese in the bar - goes down well with a bottle of the local rose wine - can't wait to return for another visit

We stayed at this hotel for a couple nights while in Europe for our honeymoon and it was so lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and thought it was in the perfect location since we didn't have a rental car and walked pretty much everywhere. We would highly recommend staying here.. As long as you can carry your luggage up a couple floors. We had a lot :)

the hotel is in an excellent location, right on the quay side and close to restaurants and bars and where the sightseeing tours start, either by bus or by boat. Breakfast service was poor as there werent enough staff to deal with serving the breakfast and clearing the tables, plus manning reception whilst people were checking out, plus dealing with a drinks delivery. We ended up clearing our own table and waiting neqarly half an hour to be served.

The small Hotel Bellevue has many assets. First there is its location. It can easily be reached by public transportation from the railway station; Quai du Vieux Port is just a few steps away from metro stop â??Vieux Portâ??. Our room on the third floor (N. 31) offered a view on both the old port of Marseille and the landmark basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde. Another asset is the café Caravelle - open from 7 a.m. till 2 a.m. - on the first floor of the building, where guests can take breakfast... Read more

This is a good value hotel in a superb location. My single room (44) had a direct view of the port and surprisingly wasn't noisy. Breakfast is served in a first floor room which becomes a bar later. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Rooms are small - mine didn't have a wardrobe - and this hotel is NOT for you if you don't like stairs as it doesn't have a lift.

The location is fabulous, directly at the port! My room overlooked the port all the way up to the cathedral on the hill. The bar on the first floor has a little balcony which is perfect for an aperitivo and for watching life pass by on the quay below! Staff are nice and helpful, too!

An amazing little hotel in a great location right downtown on the port. Clean, well designed rooms. The hotel has a great little bar on the second floor that overlooks the port. This became our favorite spot for a late night nightcap. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.
