Not good, but at least practical. Quite old and sad in terms of decoration, not really appealing or cozy at all. On the good side, the studio was clean and the bed even if quite small, was comfortable enough.

This hotel was booked last minute when our plans changed abruptly. It was very big. There is a living room, kitchen with a stove, bedroom, bathroom and shower room. It is also just a few blocks from the train station which was convenient but also means you can hear the trains go by until about midnight. The shower head sprayed out of the shower and was difficult to adjust. All in all it was a fine place for our needs. I think their target is more long term guests but we had a pleasant stay.

I stayed in this hotel for a single night as part of a rugby tour. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the main railway station. The reception is airy and clean. The staff spoke good English, and were welcoming and accommodating. I stayed in room 602. There is a single small lift, which can take a while to arrive, and as this is used by all the hotel cleaning staff, expect it to arrive with said staff and trolleys on board! The room is designed as a small apartment, and so it has a microw... Read more

Only stayed one night, the rooms were basic but clean. The room was warm and no amount of tinkering with the thermostat/Aircon could make the room cooler, thankfully my room face the rear of the building so I was able to keep the window open. There is only one small and slow operating lift in the building which is heavily used by everyone (hotel staff & residence). Typical continental breakfast at ?9... Was ok but nothing to shout about.

Good value hotel for money. In each room is also small kitchen with refridgerator, so you can prepare some food by yourself. I recommend to choose roon in higher floor, the best one is 6 floor, nice view around hotel.

When leaving it late to book a room, when Europe has descended on the area for a football tournament, expectation levels need to be set accordingly. Surprised to see a cheap room close to Part Dieu station, I wasn't sure what to expect, even less so, when train delays meant I didn't arrive until 0100. The room I stayed in was on third floor, opposite the lift and had a kitchenette, TV, bath and shower, The double bed was comfortable and there was no problem cooling the room on a sticky night. ... Me and my friends stayed at this property for one night on the 6/7/16. We had chosen this hotel because of the location close to the station and we were getting on a train the next morning to Paris. We arrived firstly at around 12:30 pm, was tired from travelling early and wanted to check in and have a shower and to get back out to meet friends before the Wales v Portugal game. There wasn't much organisation, the receptionist said she 'thinks' a room could be ready, she then radioed the maid, ... Read more

We stayed here two nights because it was the cheapest hotel we could book into. The staff were great and could speak English well. The secure parking is handy but costs 9? a day, just something to be aware of. The room itself is oddly built. It has a giant space for just the toilet and a newly renovated bathroom in another room, then you come around into the tiniest kitchenette I've ever seen. They have managed to fit a single bed and a fold out couch in the space which was good for three of u... Read more

This is not a palace, but you probably already gathered that. Instead it's a perfectly serviceable hotel in a good location, not a long walk from the Part-Dieu train station. No problems, good front desk staff, rooms are dated but clean. If you need a place in Lyon and you're not looking for upscale, you could certainly do worse.

The room was a bit old and it was medium-small size. The facilities of the bathroom were not good. There was some noise from some machine close to my room The breakfast is normal, just a few things but with good quality. Very expensive hotel for the services offered

I stayed in the Residhotel for 2 nights in the room 601. The receptionist charged me 18? more as supposed at the check-in. When I showed her my booking in the app in my phone, she apologised and changed the receipt. She gave me keycard with scratched number 602 so I went to the room and after 5 minutes of trying to get to the room an older man came from the room. That was an unpleasant surprise. So I went to the reception again and she apologised again. Wifi codes obtained were not working for... Read more
