I have never been to a such a bad hotel. When I made my reservation, no one advised me that close to the hotel there was a very noisy construction, which woke me up at 8am. Still, the maids came 3 times to our room during the morning (8:30am, 10am and 11:30) to clean our room. In one of the times she actually entered into the room and annoyed us a lot. I should got my money back because I did not manage to sleep properly in this hotel. Simply ridiculous!

Place is adequate for a day or two stay, small and cleanliness wise just acceptable. Perhaps I walked in and the room was not ready by housekeeping, the floor felt sticky! Bed, sheets and towel are clean. Bathroom clean but feels confined as its round design and plastic feeling, feels like offshore cabin. Housekeeping was timely and earnest. I took the standard room and there was no boiler or hair dryer in the room. These only came with superior rooms after clarifications with the reception (the... Read more

The interior was great. They looked new. Tv included in all rooms and wifi working perfectly. there was a vending machine at the reception which we used a couple of times. 5-10 minutes walk to the train station. Once at the train station, you can get most bus and trams from the outside. Overall , great price for money!

The noise of trains, you can hear how train brakes, how train speeds. You can see rails from the window The bathroom is very tiny looks like mobile WC, no shampoo, no blow dry. I found the price is high for what you get Location is good for people who need to cutch their train early morning, it is 5 min a walk from a train station. The hotel is very clean, bed is comfortable but pillow is tiny.

Stayed here for one night on tour through France.Room was clean and presentable.Staff were helpful with the car parking which is secure and safe.Breakfast was adequate without being plentiful. The room was a little noisy from the train at rear of hotel. For the price paid no issues.

We sleeped one night in a triple Room. The room was really small, and was almost impossible to move in the room. The bathroom is ugly. Is 1,5 square mt. all made of plastic, in a camper-style. Make a shower was almost impossible and even wash the face was quite difficoult. Absurde value for money. From an hotel that cost 126‚?¨ per night I expect at least a decent bathroom and a decent shower. Compliments to the receptionist Julie, that was really kind and professional. She helped us with all ... Read more

We stayed here whilst on a stag doo during the Euros. The room was quite small with three blokes in it but it was very clean (cleaned daily) and there was no noise from the trains. The staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast was good value against local cafes and there was an adequate choice.

This was the second of three budget hotels I booked for myself and three friends as we did a tour of France during the Euro16 football tournament. The hotel is fairly modern and is ideally situated around 300 yards from the Gare Part Dieu railway station and the metro to take you into other parts of Lyon. From our point of view it was also ideally situated for the tram line straight to the football stadium as the nearest tram stop was around 300 yards away. The hotel rooms were very clean with... Myself and a couple of friends stayed in a triple room when the European Champions Cup Rugby was on. The room was very small and the bathroom basic but what can you expect for the money. It served it's purpose as a place to sleep. The breakfast staff where friendly. The aircon didn't work. That's the good bit over with. Here comes the reason for my review title. On the first night at about 3 in the morning we were woken by 2 extremely loud bangs in the corridor outside our room. Obviously this g... Read more

Stayed here for a conference due to the much cheaper rates. Averaged around £42/night for a three person room. Location is excellent, you're near the station, main bus lines and metro. Reception is manned 24h and all the staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. Rooms were basic and cramped with three people but you should not expect more for the price. The bathroom is very small. There were no tea/coffee making facilities and the room did not have a safe. Housekeeping were thorough ... Read more

I stayed in one of the triple rooms. Considering that the Ibis hotel next to the Premiere Classe was only 15 euro more expensive and that I have stayed in plenty of the Ibis hotels around the world, this hotel does not give a good value for your money. Why? Very uncomfortable! If one person is trying to walk around the room the other 2 have to stay on the beds. There is not one centimetre to put your luggage and take your clothes out unless you do it over the beds. Terrible wifi that took me 15 ... Read more

Great location, 5 min walk from main train station. Plenty of local amentities, shops bars and restaurants. Only 10 mins on metro to old part of the city. Hotel clean and well run. Bathroom very very small but clean. Air con and comfy beds. Recommend for a city visit. Hotel also had maps and information relating to the euros with free trams from behind the hotel to the stadium on match day.

Stuff: nice Location: conveniently near the train station Room: The room is small but it works well for one person, but the bathroom is too small. It has the size of a train bathroom and the look of a submarine. I didn't get soap so I used the shampoo in the shower and they also didn't give me a hand towel. Conclusion: the price and the location were good, but the room was only okay

We used this hotel as a 1 night stop on our way down to the coast and for the price we paid I was pleasantly surprised. Being a family of 5 we had 2 rooms which had a connecting door and they were both very clean and a bit more spacious than I expected and the beds were very comfortable. Being so close to the train track, we hardly heard anything. The receptionist was very helpful when we had questions and when checking in. Very basic but I would use this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is its star feature, 5 mins from the Gare Part Dieu with links across the city and the country, this was very useful for our Euro 2016 visit, both to get to the game in Lyon and to travel on to Paris. The room itself was perfectly good, however the bathroom was really far too small, I can accept small bathrooms but this was very tight with no air. The breakfast was certainly not something the hotel could be proud of. You simply had to eat your breakfast off of your t... Read more

The ‚??Premi√®re Classe‚?? chain of hotels offers, in general, out-of-town motel style accommodation at low prices, true some of the accommodations are in need of refurbishment but normally they provide a moderate level of comfort in all thir hotels. However, the name does mislead slightly and guests should not expect too much luxury from the facilities on offer. This one, in their chain, at Lyon Part-Dieu, from my experience, does however come a bit above the rest. It‚??s very much a city hot... Read more

This hotel is 10-minutes walk from the Part-Dieu railway station and very convenient access. Check-in was efficient and quick. The room #320 is clean, spacious and soundproof (considering it faces Boulevard Marius Vivier Merle) Comfortable double bed and simple furniture but sufficient. Air-conditioning is very weak (not cool enough in the August heat wave) and noisy. Unfortunately, the bedside lamps were not working and despite informing the Sunday night reception and his promise to get it fix... Read more

We stayed at this hotel overnight while travelling from the Netherlands to Spain. As we are a family with 3 children we booked 2 rooms in advance. I e-mailed the hotel if we could get 2 rooms together which wasn't a problem. We indeed got joining rooms with a door between the rooms which was great. The bathroom is a 'wet cell' which means that the sink, toilet and shower are in a small unit in the room. Not a lot of space or ventilation and everything gets wet easily. WiFi was for free but the r... Read more

We booked this hotel for an overnight stay, with 5 adults. We got 2 adjacent rooms on the first floor. Rooms are not too big, but do include 3 beds. Pity that you only receive 2 towels for 3 adults. Bathrooms are small: if you take a shower, the toilet becomes wet. It looks like a prefabricated module, and it probably is. Overall: you get what you pay for: some hours of sleep close to the railway station.

next to the train station (10 minutes walking) and to the Bus terminal of Lyon, this hotel could be useful for one-night stopver. Too small bathroom, I had the impression of entering into the bath of a TGV !

Very very small accommodations. Bathrooms are made from whole fiberglass modules and tiny. For one night on a budget it's ok I guess. Bed was not bad. Apart from that nothing else to praise or recommend.
