So I travel often for my work and I ended up staying at this hotel as its close to my work place. This is a budget hotel for them and not you. The bathroom was smelly and there is not even one or two hand tissues in the room. you can find them only in the restaurant. The food was below average. I am an Indian but vegetarian doesnt mean Indian. When I asked the receptionist if they serve vegetarian, she was not sure as she thought i am asking Indian food. I clarified if they have some soups or sa... Read more

We booked in for only one night as a stopover between the south of France and Reims. We know ibis has a reputation as being budget but we thought it wouldn't matter for one night. It did matter quite a lot. Positives: friendly woman at reception, parking was good. There is some funky lighting in the room itself, although I feel ibis could have better spent this money. Negatives: pretty much everything else. Room was poorly cleaned with hair in shower and suspicious stains in the cubicle. S... Read more

Français à la suite. We had a convention to attend for a week and the reservations were made by the organizers. We decided to arrive a week before to avoid the jet lag and to visit Lyon by our own. Spending 2 weeks at that place was not a good idea. We were welcomed at the hotel by fantastic people; smily, friendly and professional and the staff in general was extremely pleasant during all those 15 nights we stayed there; the reception, the dining room and the persons who took care of our ... Terrific hotel, situated a short distance from the old town. We walked it and it took 20 minutes, but there is a tram that you can catch virtually in front of the hotel that will take you straight into town. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was well worth 9 euros/head. This is a budget hotel that many more expensive hotels would be envious of... If you're on a tight budget and you want a weekend break in Lyon, this is the place for you!

There was free wifi in the room. The bedding was comfortable. There was AC and it was ok. There was a flat screen TV. There was no kettle or coffee/tea in the room. The room was somewhat small : when fitted with 2 twin beds; walking around was kind of difficult. The sound proofing from the corridor was so-so. There's an underground parking on site (for a fee - it was 11EUR per night). There's a left luggage service (free, in a locked room, but you don't get to get a retrieval ticket). The st... Read more

We could not sleep the whole night because of Slamming doors. Really small rooms. Also bad receptionists, they even did not ask us how our stay has been... We would not advise you To go there. Only positive is that you are not far from the freeway.

It's a good location, city centre It's Very easy to reach. Hotel is Clean, Rooms quite new. The point is that receptionist are Not interested in making You At ease as tourist.I was neither Not given the map of the city when I arrived...I had to ask for it...I felt Not welcomed Very Well. Also, only one Key each room It's Not the Best considering that You need it for the elevator...at least breakfast is ok.

This hotel was much much better than expected. Ibis hotels have a good reputation already, so for our expectations to be exceeded, this place really did very well. We booked and paid online beforehand, so checking in and out was a breeze. There is a multi-story car park under the hotel for â?¬11 per night, which is fantastic. The triple single room that my dad and I stayed in was basic, but spacious and comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was outstanding. We had 3 courses for â?¬19, consis... Read more

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights during the Euros. Can't fault it at all. There is a tram stop just around the corner which takes you straight into the city centre. Clean and tidy and a tasty breakfast.

The location was near the office at walking distance. It is near the river and the restaurant has a pleasant garden where you can watch squirrels feed themselves. the rooms are absolutely clean, also thanks to the wooden floor. (I hate moquette!) What i appreciated the most is that I forgot in my room very important documents that they sent to me in no time without any extra charge! plus: Since I don't have brakfast, they deducted that cost from the amount of my dinners.

Perfect facilities for a quick stop off in Lyon from the UK to Spain, reception staff friendly and efficient, rooms really small, but beds incredibly comfortable! Car park was tiny and we were almost blocked in by inconsiderate parking! The restaurant prices were day light robbery! Almost â?¬5 for a small glass of Sprite!! Clean, efficient and good bed.

Excellent service, room a good size, easy access to river and parks to walk in. Restaurant food and service were very good, good choice of food and wine. A fairly long walk (40 minutes) to the old town which is well work a visit. Parking available but pricy and inconsiderate parking by others made leaving a challange
