I've probably been to Le Touquet at least 6 times as it's so close to Calais and such a beautiful place, it's not called the Parisian's playground for nothing. We stayed here in April 2015 for two nights Thursday & Friday. We were tempted to extend for 1 more night but the rates go up at the weekend. We are 2 adults, and a 6 & 2 year old we booked a 2x double bedroom, 1 bed was upstairs in the roof so It wouldn't be advisable if you have a toddler not good with stairs. The rooms seem recentl... The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Hotel atmosphere and decorations are very nice. Where it let itself down was not having a lunch facility and a terrible swimming pool. With the swimming pool the showers were cold, broken doors on the lockers and the pool was cold, not heated. However as already mentioned the staff were very pleasant. The evening meal was delicious and the waiters were very accommodating specially Etienn.

As a frequent traveller and user of Holiday Inn worldwide, the hotel itself is ok, clean, comfortable yet what you would expect. Location is within walking distance of Le Touquet center (15-20min). Weekend gets busy and parking can be limited. What makes this hotel so special, is the staff. Reception staff (Elodie and Anne) apart from making you feel welcome and special, gave us perfect tips on good restaurants, things to do to see. Rest of staff up to cleaning staff, breakfast room staff, a... Read more

My sat nav kept taking me down the wrong part of the street but once we had found this superb resort we did not want to leave. The main impression is the knowledge, professionalism and friendliness of all the staff, It is a spacious resort hotel, aimed at families (it was French School Holidays when we were there), with a nice warm pool and a fitness centre. There were two restaurants, one for breakfast and one for dinner, both serving very good foof in pleasant surroundings. Lunch is only serve... Read more

This hotel is ideally situated to visit northern France and is placed off Charles de Gaulle in beautiful grounds only a short walk from the shops,restaurants/cafes and the beach.Reception was great, our room was excellent, comfy bed and nice linens/towels. Food in restaurant was a let down but the service was good although one customer tripped over a plant pot which spilt the soil over the walkway. The staff picked it up but left the soil which mean't customers/staff were walking in it. We have visited this hotel nearly from opening and the structure has remained timeless and maintenance of the fabric has been good. Very good food and staff always very welcoming, regrettably the bathroom and toilets have become very dated and they only provided "thin flannels" for bath towels. You need to have agility to get into shower/bath. Beds comfy, breakfast good, slightly miss jointed with training young staff and service delivery but good they are training young staff. Don't be put off ... Read more

Stayed one night in a duplex family room, which consisted of double bed downstairs then an additional smaller double bed in the mezzanine. Room had usual facilities, tv, mini bar. Hotel had a nice indoor pool, great for winding down and a small gym. Breakfast was good and had cooked and uncooked options, pastries were lovely and fresh. Staff in breakfast area were particularly welcoming. Room wasn't ready when we arrived so we took a short walk (about a 10-15 minute walk). Overall the hotel was... Read more

Great restaurants, good market, good place to walk and Le Touquet racing good fun. Hotel half a mile from town but a pleasant walk up to the seafront with a great beach and first rate facilities especially for families.

I have visited the Holiday Inn, in Le Touquet for some years now, but have never managed to give it a review here, or elsewhere, until now. This hotel is located a good 10 minutes walk (flat ground all the way) from the centre of Le Touquet, and 5 minutes walk from the Casino, if you have enough money left to try a flutter. It is also surrounded by mature trees, which adds to the peace and tranquillity of the location. At Christmas time, the lights extravaganza is well worth a visit. It??s ... Read more

This was the 11th stay at this hotel and once again it was a first class experience. The bar / dining is excellent. The staff throughout the hotel are keen to help. Nothing is too much trouble. We had requested a garden room as we had the dog, and that was exactly what had been reserved for us. And the leisure facilities are also excellent - highly recommended. And having last visited 21 month ago we were amazed that the receptionist remembered the details of our previous visit. And it's dog fri... Read more

Unfortunately we were stranded in Le Touquet for 3 nights whilst we organised recovery of our vehicle ... after breaking down in France. We checked into Holiday Inn as the previous hotel that we had stayed in was fully booked.) half term break! The hotel was more than accommodating ... gave us late check out (without payment every day) incase we were able to organise recovery of the vehicle and our own journey home. The food in the cafe restaurant was really nice plus great service from the staf... Read more

A resort hotel which is tired. Our room had a second 'bedroom' - well actually it had a cell with one small window overlooking a communal area. Fortunately, we had no child to incarcerate but any young child would come out in the morning determined to never be imprisoned and/or needing medical support. The dining room did provide good food but both it and the accommodation were both very expensive. Not a great experience.

Took my eldest daughter here for a long weekend to celebrate her finishing her exams, my wife recommended it as she had been a number of years before, we had a family room which was lovely and clean, my daughter was upstairs on the mezzanine and myself in a very comfy King, the hotel is only on two levels and there is a long greenhouse type glass ceiling in the main run that joins the hotel to the guest area, it's quite warm along here, the hotel is clean, well situated and friendly staff, looki... Just returned from a very enjoyable stay. Very friendly hotel. Good location a pleasant stroll into the town. We had a garden suite only downside was no air conditioning. Very good breakfast all in all a brilliant trip. We love Le Touquet it has something for everyone.

The rooms are comfortable, although the general appearance of the interior needs a bit of tlc. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty and the BBQ held on Friday evening is really nice especially when the weather is good. It is about a 10 to 15 minute pleasant walk into the main part of le Touquet.

So let me try to explain why there are so many varying opinions. I have been staying here for over 20 years - and I have tried nearly every other hotel in Le Touquet. I keep coming back because the staff are really good. They are not "in your face" - but give them a problem to resolve, and I have always found they can resolve it - with a smile. The building is architecturally strange - but it has aged well, and the owners have maintained it very well, often changing colour schemes to keep up wit... Read more

First time we stayed here. I have a nine year old boy who thought the pool area "awesome". A very airy, light and clean hotel. Our mezzanine room was big enough and beds comfortable. Breakfast was super with American hot and continental cold buffet and as much as you could eat. Evening meals from bar menu or main restaurant a bit pricey, but suspect typical for a hotel such as this. All felt very comfortable and also in relatively secluded spot. We already considering booking up for next year.

We booked this hotel as a stopover, as we had a 9 hour drive from the south of France and did not want to rush to get to the Eurotunnel. Also, we stay in Le Touquet fairly regularly and are familiar with the area. The Holiday Inn would not be my first choice as we are a retired couple just looking to spend one evening in town, whereas this hotel has activities for families who are staying longer. The reason I booked this hotel was to take advantage of some loyalty points I had accumulated. It i... Read more

Booked a night last minute after a particularly disappointing stay further along the coast so was feeling buoyant on arrival at a good looking hotel. Linen & carpets already put it ahead of the previous night's debacle! Duplex room was a great touch and layout for the me & the kids but lacked a/c which 24 hours prior would've been an issue. Pool is adequate but the staff really make this place work. Their welcoming and flexible attitude in all my interactions made for a really relaxing stay. Th... Read more

Good and bad at this hotel, hence only an average score. So the negative first so we can finish on a positive. Some of the staff we encountered at the hotel were just down right rude, I could not gather whether this was to everyone or just anyone who was not french. As an example, the waitress at breakfast seemed to ask all the french guests whether they wanted tea or coffee etc as they sat down, but ignored everyone else. I had to go find her to ask for coffee. The rooms were comfortable enough... Read more

We used the hotel for a stopover before catching the train to the UK,the town itself is a good place for last Minuit shopping and the beach is excellent .the hotel has its own swimming pool and some of the rooms are very family friendly, it has a good bar serving bar food or you can eat in the resturant , we chose to eat in the resturant and the food was very good but the service was a bit slow. But would certainly stop there again.

I have been agonising whether to give the Holiday Inn 3 or 4 TA stars and, on balance have marked it down on a few points that the hotel could easily do something about if it tried. Firstly, to say that this is a clean, fairly well appointed and friendly hotel with good staff and I would stay here again. It is slightly detached from the centre of Le Touquet but only a 10 minute walk, so not exactly 'out of town'. There is also an indoor pool and all-weather tennis court which may be of interest.... We stopped here for 1 night at the end of our epic 3 week trip to France, Spain, Portugal and Andorra for our wedding. We love Le Touquet and were pleased to be able to book last minute into this hotel. The reason we chose the Holiday Inn was for the location, it was within a 7 minute walk into the main shopping and restaurant area and the casino too. Also, it has a car park which was important for us as we had a lot of luggage. Check in was quick and easy and they even had luggage trollies whic... Read more

Hotel is situated at the edge of the residential area of le Touquet somewhat away from the main road to the centre. There is plenty of space to park your car . Reception area is in the main building . Checkin was fast and correct. We had a nonsmoking 'privilege ' room on ground floor. Room was quiet and had huge windows opening to the garden. The bathroom had a bath (somewhat high to step in!) ,hairdryer and amenities. There was seperate toilet. Minibar was in the room, free water and fruit juic... Read more

So surprised by this - a clean, welcoming Holiday Inn and a reasonable cost. The split level family room was brilliant - wish other hotels would do something similar. The pool was great and the staff very helpful and welcoming.
