It was my first time visiting Le Lavandou and staying in this hotel this year and I cannot rate it highly enough. My girlfriend and her family have been staying here for a few years and were singing its praises before we arrived, I was not disappointed. The building is beautiful and has a certain charm to it and the staff are possibly the friendliest and most helpful I have ever come across in any hotel, willing to help with any queries or issues and if you encountered any problems during your s... From the minute we arrived we relaxed. The staff are friendly but unobtrusive and the bedrooms were so large with the most beautiful view of the Port from the very generous terrace where one can also see the lovely swimming pool. The breakfast was the only disappointing aspect of the stay; after a couple of days the lack of any variety began to show and even a change of fruit variety would have been nice. However, to be fair, there were always eggs, parma ham, bread and the usual jams to choo... Read more

Lovely Hotel ideally situated within 1 minute's walk of the old part of Lavandou and with superb views of the Marina from our Bedroom, Breakfast room and Bar. Friendly staff. Swimming Pool and sunbeds at no extra cost

Last here 9 years ago and no real change since then, apart from (good) Wifi in all rooms. Ground level rooms probably the best, large with terrace and an additional sitting area with loungers overlooking pool. Security not really a problem as you have a key to the French windows and can leave and access the room that way. Nice breakfast, glorious views, extremely handy for port, restaurants, island ferries, path to St Clair etc. We shall return

First the plus side; a great location with stunning views across the harbour, close to a wide selection of restaurants and cafes and a helpful English speaking receptionist. Parking available but you have to book and there is a nice looking but unheated pool; still cool in late May. Breakfast was OK. That earns the 3 stars. Now the down side; our classic "double" room was cramped and tired, barely space to leave 2 suitcases, only one bedside table and we had to move the bed to get into the wa... Read more

Unless you are one of the few that get the renovated rooms featured on their website, your actual room will be awful! Pay attention to the negative reviews only (take the time and use google translate to read the non-English reviews). Hair all over the bathroom floor, shower tile covered in mold, towels so threadbare you can see through them, ridiculously lumpy white stucco walls, and worn out plastic patio furniture. The hotel reservation cancelation policy is ridiculously strict and there i... Read more

The hotel is in a great position with an easy walk to the harbour, beaches and restaurants. It is quiet at night and offers lovely views. There is a good pool and pleasant garden area. The rooms are small with dated facilities and our bathroom was in desperate need of refurbishment with a lot of visible mould. The small balcony had great views but was overlooked from both sides by adjoining rooms and because their balconies projected further out than ours offered a view into our room and bed. Th... The location of this hotel opposite a club which plays loud music until 3am is not desirable! When we complained to Hotel staff we were offered no alternative room within the hotel and were told that nothing could be done despite all staff recognizing that the loud music was an issue. Single glazed windows in rooms and thin metal fire escapes in the corridors did nothing to alleviate the loud music. If you are staying at this hotel but are sensitive to loud music until 3am in the morning then ma... Read more
