We had reserved three nights in this hotel. We selected it as 3*, sea view and Trip Advisor good rate. The hotel is old in every respect and the building is surrounded by larger apartment constructions. The smell, the dark corridors, the bathroom with waved plastic floor and all other details had such a sad impact that we preferred to pay the first night (120.00 â?¬) and go to another hotel. Hotel La Concorde should not be rated 3* but is not matter of stars, it is simply a structure of another ... Read more

We returned to the Hotel Concorde this summer, bring our four grown and nearly grown children for a stay of nine days. We had a lovely experience, the hotel is simple, that is simply excellent and focused on guest service. The rooms, the breakfast, the perfect location and the excellent maintenance were all to the same high standard. The welcome from the family who own and run the hotel was outstanding. The hotel has a serene atmosphere which our dynamic and loud family did its best to um... Read more

Having just spent a week at Concorde we have come home rested and relaxed. As other reviewers have mentioned Concorde is a little dated in decor style but that doesn't mean it needs redecorating. So what, everyone's taste is different ? To give the impression that it needs redecorating would be completely wrong as it's obviously well and frequently maintained maybe just not the style everyone would choose. The cleanliness is exceptional, the service great; helpful but unobtrusive. Breakfast very... Read more

Just back from a 5 day visit to La Baule and though the weather did not do its part, the hotel and certainly the owners did manage to make this trip quite successful. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable, but no "comforter". The bathroom somewhat small but it had bath and shower. Problems with the shower temperature though when the hotel was fully booked. Though the room did not have direct view of the beach, the large terrace did. Breakfast reasonably priced and sufficient. On special reques... Read more

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I loved this hotel. Run by a very professional French family you are made to feel special everyday. I loved the history of the hotel and the way they have blended the old with the new. My rooms (yes I stayed in two different rooms during my stay) were fabulous rooms. I had a lovely view straight out the window across the road to the Mediterranean. Hard to beat for around 100 Euros per night depending on your room choice. Why I enjoyed this place w... Read more
