Not quite as luxurious as some Mercure hotels, but very nice. Excellent staff, clean and comfortable. Had standard room, probably advisable to go for Privilege for extra space and extras in room. Very well situated for both Deauville and Trouville.

On arrival to the desk the lady greeted us by name which was lovely, hotel is in a great location and nice clean room not the biggest but ok for two nights breakfast was ok and plentiful although 17 euro was a bit high to be honest. we had a garden view room with balcony which was nice but think a view over the harbour would have been better.

As a regular business traveler in France, I am very familiar with the Accor chain of hotels and the hierarchy of the diffferent brands belonging to it - or so I thought. The Mercure Deauville proved me wrong: A tiny room with outdated furniture, mold in the bathroom, an overpriced breakfast - at a rate which usually buys me decent accomodation at other Mercure properties. I must admit that I did not do extensive research, as I only stayed for one short night. Had I read the reviews here or else... Read more

Clean rooms. Free wi-fi. Good location in town for both Deauville and Trouville. Average breakfast for the price of about 16â?¬... Staff varies in quality and I didn't meet anyone speaking a word of English which would have been helpful and almost expected in a town that seems to make their living on tourism...

We spend 2 nights at the mercure with 6 adults and a 2 year old. It is very well located. You can park in a safe underground parking 200 meters from the hotel. The city centre (deauville & Trouville are walking distance away). Same with the beach. The hotel rooms have recently been re-done and are very modern now while the outside of the hotel shows the typical character of the region. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast provides all you need (eggs, bacon, fruits, croissants...) I wou... Read more

A lovely hotel on the streets of Deauville. I had room 42 (maybe 41) and had a splendid view of the marina. The bed was beyond belief and bathroom, large, well kept and with an amazing shwer. Staff were excellent and the bar just right. A few mins walk and you're at the Casino (for those so inclined), however on the way don't forget to stop at the many bars, restaurants and clothes shops.

Very conveniently situated close to the yacht marina and within a 5 minute walk of the centre of town. Our room on the second floor was spacious and comfortable with a small balcony with table and chairs with a view to the marina. A very welcome addition in the extreme heat of last week was the ceiling fan which we left on the lowest setting overnight, silently allowing us to sleep. Surprisingly, however, was the unexpected lack of bathroom toiletries that we are so used to having. A small bar o... Read more

Good location, close to market easy walking distance to all main attractions ie beach, race course, casino and into trouville Quick check in, friendly staff ..... Gave us maps and ideas of where to eat etc, booked taxis. Lift was out of order over the weekend, but staff very apologetic, had help for people with bags (but wasn't an issue for us) and gave us a nice cidre at the bar to compensate.... Rooms recently refurbished, modern light...very clean, duplex has two two flat screen TVs, one d... Read more

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and can rate it as good now a few issues have been sorted out. The room (403) now has air-conditioning and has been redecorated. Mirrors have been moved so you can now plug the hairdryer in and see as mirror. Pros Very central (between Trouville and Deauville) Very near a large secure car park (shuts at 22:00) Nice duplex room Cons Small breakfast room so you may not be able to get in. Hotel carpark very small (use the public car par) Bar area ... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Deauville Centre. It is very centrally located and easy to find. We stayed in a balcony room which was very pleasant to sit out on in the evenings. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. My only small problem was the lack of AC it got very warm in the hotel room. There was a ceiling fan but didn't really cool the room sufficiently. Would stay here agin should we return to Deauville.

This hotel is definitely in a good location. A fairly new building in an old part of the town. Ideal for exploring town and beach, convenient for plenty of good restaurants. However, the rooms in the hotel are truly TINY. A double room barely big enough for 1. We were a couple but there was only room for one of us to unpack. Could hardly turn round in the bathroom! They charge 23 euros per day to park in their garage - a real rip off. Street parking is free after 7pm but the staff don't tell you... Read more
