This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel The staff are always friendly, helpful and the rooms are comfortable. It is convenient for our trip to the Channel Tunnel and the directions to the hotel are easy to follow, A big plus to us is that they welcome pets.

An excellent hotel, clean and very comfortable . The service was excellent and the receptionist kindly upgraded our room for no extra charge. We enjoyed an evening meal at the hotel , simple but excellent and again great service . We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Clean if impersonal rooms, slept well, great breakfast, restaurant ok but a bit pricey for supper. Out of town but useful if travelling. Friendly staff and Chartres is beautiful. Conference facilities looked great. We stayed in winter so didn't use the pool but that could be a great help for families taking long car journeys

Forward booked this overnight some months ahead. Ideal position for journey home and on a Sunday evening was quiet and we received a pleasant welcome. Hotel is older than some but usual Novotel layout with a spacious reception area. On the eastern edge of town on a business park with retail & food outlets within a ten minute walk but we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant which was fresh and tasty. Included breakfast in the booking which was fine but perhaps expensive if booked separately.

The hotel itself is perfectly pleasant, the reception staff are very professional and the rooms are clean and comfy. However the restaurant really lets the side down. We ordered the Novotel house burger playing safe but what a disappointment...... Firstly it arrived and looked totally unappetising being just a burger with a potato rosti type topping and sad looking chips in a basket but everything the same colour, no garnish at all, no salad no interest. Then sadly no taste either, I ordered so... Read more

Good hotel to stay with a friendly staff from Spain and good location. The black person at night was not friendly at all and was not keen to help. This person should be removed from the hotel because the way he treats clients.Good bed and excellent breakfast.

The hotel in ideal position for night stopover during journey from Mont Saint Michel to Paris. We received a pleasant welcome and good sized clean room. I liked that bathroom and toilet separate. Everything was spotless clean and looks new. Hotel place on the eastern edge of town on a business park with retail & food outlets within a few minute drive. The area very quiet and green. There is a big free parking around the hotel. There is unheated pool, but it wasn't operating during our stay. W... Read more

We have driven down to our house near Toulouse and on the way back stopped at the Novotel. It's a cut above the other hotels we have used before and yet the price is slightly less. Very spacious rooms. Good restaurant and bar. I will definitely be coming back

At the end of a tour of northern France we stayed in Chartres before heading for Dieppe. This hotel on the edge of town is not hard to find and has loads of free parking; it must have been refurbished at some point because it has the feel of a new building. The rooms are spacious, clean and the aircon is effective: combined with a quiet location this makes for a good night's rest. We could not see much on the restaurant menu that took our fancy so we used room service for a light dinner, which w... Read more

Excellent mid-range hotel in Chartres. Lots of play areas for children. Rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the city centre. Breakfast is ample and of good quality (be careful when there are groups, you may need to wait the staff to refill).

We stayed one night on route from the Midlands to the South of France. Very nice reception staff, clean room & a comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again. Did not eat at the hotel, but the bar area looked very nice. Maybe the room could be slightly larger, but we were a party of 4 !!

Good stop to or from the southern parts of France. Hotel is a standard Nivotel, no thrills but comfortable and good service. The option to use the sofa bed for your kid makes it an easy choice. Dinner ok, well prepared but no experience of a lifetime. If you have the time a few hour visit to the old town of Chartres and of course the just (partly) renovated cathedral are recommended. All in all price quality good, especially for families that are traveling.

Very impressed, booked this hotel for one night on a long journey with 2 kids. Very clean spacious room with large double and good quality sofa bed. Good free wifi strength in room. Great pool next to restaurant with outside tables so kids could swim while we had a drink. And a ping pong table. X box in reception area and kids story books, nice touch. Tiny niggle, tea making facilities in room aren't good. The 2 tiny flimsy paper cups weren't really up to containing hot liquid at all! Breakfa... Read more

We stayed here for one night as a family of 4 on our way back from the South of France as a stop over. It was really easy to find and the staff at reception couldn't be more helpful or friendly. They even gave both of my children a little toy each! Check in was simple, quick, easy and friendly. The room was spacious (we had a superior room) with a double and a sofa bed. Both beds were comfy, the sofa bed was much more comfortable than it seemed. Bathroom was clean and all info and tea/coffee... Read more

We used this hotel as a stopover on our way south. It's easy to get to if you're so doing as it's near the A11. The room was good, the restaurant was good, the staff were friendly and helpful. There's a gym and outdoor pool here, but didn't have the opportunity to use them.

The breakfast at the hotel was pretty good lots of choices which was nice. The beds were a little bit on the hard side and a little small but they were ok. The room was a good size and bathroom was nice. Although I couldn't work out how to have a hot shower maybe that's just me though! Toilet is separate from the bathroom which was different and there was two doors to get in to the bedroom. Overall not bad!

Stayed 1 night 11/9 on our way back. Good selection of food including a fish menu. Good wine. Attentive staff. Room layout as expected. Would recommend this hotel for both stopover & longer stay. Terasse great for both dinner & breakfast.

A typical Novotel hotel. Clean, tidy with all the facilities expected. Decent restaurant with good food and bar. Drinks especially expensive, however, it probably is just about worth the cost. Breakfast is too expensive for what you get.

I've stayed in this hotel twice because the company where I Was workig Was very close. It is ok enough to stay 5 days, no more then it and considering that you must have a lot of work to do during the day until sleep because there is nothing to do or other places behind it. The staff is kind but very, very limited to speak English, even in the restautant where there is one guy who speaks a little bit. The air conditioner was not working, I needed turn it on because inside the apartment was very ... Read more

I arrived at this hotel around 2 am exhausted, the reception employee could see that and offered me an expresso.. The staff was wonderful, professional, caring . The room immaculate and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is REALLY worth it with smoked salmon, eggs, meats, yogurt, cereals and much more. it was really a very nice experience . I would advise anybody to stay there.
