The hotel is a little out of town but still convenient. The hotel had a nice pool and hot tub overlooking the Mont Blanc. Also the hotel has a ski room and an under ground garage. There is a very nice bar / sitting area an it has a modern wood burning fireplace. The room was of good size but the bathroom needed some renovations. The staff was very helpful and help us buy the ski pass directly at the hotel so we skipped the line at the hills.

Stayed for a ski weekend. Plenty of parking, ski lockers, a rental shop, pool, sauna, and the list goes on... Restaurant was not crowded this time of year, food was excellent. Just a short distance to several ski areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will return if I visit Chamonix again.

We spend 3 nights at the Mercure and found it was perfect for our plans The location was ideal if you want to get the most out of all the ski resorts included in the Mont Blanc Unlimited ski pass, a rented car was a must for this. 10 minutes away from must sees at Chamonix and surroundings too. The hotel looks nice and cared of. Views to the Glacier and L Aiguille du Midi were impressive Staff was friendly and helpful Breakfas was very good though I'd say a bit expensive. i expected more for 17... Read more

The stuff at the reception and in restaurant was extremely kind and friendly and professional. The rooms are nice and good equipped. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are very nice. The sauna relay heats you :)The hotel is suited right below the Mount Blanc. There are a nice walking pats nearby. Chamonix is easy accessed by car or public transport.

Travelled as a part of a group touring Europe. Stayed here for a night, but it was worth the stay. Had a good spread of breakfast and the staff was friendly. Check those photos and you will know wat I meant by the fantastic views!

I stayed as part of a group tour only for a night. I did not have time to explore the entire hotel. (1) Very near to Auguille du midi mountain. Just 15 minute drive till the mountain base. (2) Very quiet, pleasant and beautiful surroundings where hotel is situated. (3) Experience with staff was quite nice and friendly. (4) A cozy interior lobby area greets you with a fire running for warming. Gives a cottage like feel. (5) Hearty and sufficient breakfast. (6) Good rooms with cozy beds. An... Read more

Very nice and tidy rooms with nice bathrooms and flat screen TV's. The indoor pool is very cool downstairs. The hotel restaurant is a tad pricy, both for the breakfast and the dinner. The service is good.

This hotel is used most often by those who visit Mont Blanc. The rooms are clean, spacious and the view from the rooms is Marvellous! We went as part of a group and the breakfast and service was too good. The wifi was not very swift but manageable. The key attraction is really the view from the hotel. We had a ton of fun walking around the tiny village like township behind the hotel. Great Stay!

We spent one night here. It's a nice surrounding. The room is of quite good size, the bed is comfortable. The aircondition in both the room and the hotel itself wasn't that good. The bathroom is divided into one room with toilet and the rest in the other room. The pool is heated and really nice. It's the first time I have a view of a glacier while I'm swimming! We didn't have any breakfast since it was quite expensive. But we had a really good dinner in the restaurant. It was buffet with small d... Read more

The hotel was nice but I wouldn't rate it as a four star accommodation. The room was okay but nothing spectacular. On a positive note the breakfast was lovely! The hotel is a bit far off Chamonix and if you don't go back to the hotel with the last 8pm bus you need to take a taxi which can be up to 40â?¬.

The food was very good. Much better than in Chamonix itself. But the Restaurant Service is questionable......-they are just tired of doing Service -except the receptionist was outstanding, and very helpful at all times. ....

Nice modern hotel with beautiful views of the snow topped mountain . Set in a great location, very peaceful with all the modern accessories you would expect including a pool again with excellent mountain view. Well worth paying the extra 10 euros for a room with a view - highly recommend and made the visit extra special. Only complaint is there was nowhere to buy any snacks either in the hotel or surrounding area that we could see. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English .

The hotel is a long walk from the centre of Chamonix, however there are two bus stops about 5 minutes walk away. The reception staff were friendly and very accommodating. There was a very rude waiter in the restaurant and we ended up leaving the restaurant as a result and went into town for dinner. The hotel has great views of the mountains, but this can be said for Chamonix as a whole.

The room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Nice having bathroom and toilet separate. Everything in the room that was needed. The pool area is also nice, but the "hot tub" needs to be much warmer. It was just about luk warm!

Nothing like avoiding the queue to cross the Montblanc, so spending the night here and leaving early morning makes this location already memorable. Reception very quick and professional, rooms are k ( they could do with a change of carpets) and food at the restaurant freshly cooked and delicious. They were doing BBQ the night we stayed and together with the salad bar was great. Only thing I would change is the guy running the restaurant, feeling visibly stress and moody. In the past I would hav... Read more

We visited during the summer and found the hotel a little weird because it's designed for winter visitors. However the welcome was warm and the food for dinner was excellent. It is out of town so better for an overnight when passing through rather than a visit to Chamonix but nice nonetheless. Also, if you can crane your neck the views of Mont Blanc on a clear day are amazing.

I love this hotel. Although outside Chamonix it is in a beautiful, quiet location at the foot of Mont Blanc. The rooms are large, very clean, and comfortable, with a great view of the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed eating in the restaurant - good food and reasonably priced. If you are travelling by public transport you need to take bus number 2 direction Glacier des Bossons . The nearest stop to the hotel is Glacier Taconnaz; however buses only stop here infrequently - when we were there they... Read more

We had already stayed several times in this hotel. Rooms very simple and breakfast just ordinary, but it is very comfortable for a stop on our trips. last time we stopped there it was on Sunday and we had a very bad experience. We arrived in the afternoon but rooms were not ready and we had to wait longtime. Only too few staff members so we also waited some time to get heating in our room. Pool was fine. To conclude, it was not worth its price.

Perfect with two young kids .: swimming pool - garden - indoor games etc. Sympathic bar and lobby . Good location to visit Chamonix, Megève ,Annecy. You have the choice between full or continental breakfast ( good orange juice but for the coffee, go to Courmayeur !).

Hotels in Chamonix are expensive but for the money it doesn't feel like this hotel is a good option. The food was very average, the room and bathroom were fine, good size etc, just like any other chain hotel really. The staff on the front desk were nice and helpful and gave us a free bus ticket to get to Chamonix which was handy. We wouldn't stay here again.

My family and I recently traveled to Italy by car. We always use Chamonix as our stop off point. We love it in Chamonix so much that we go skiing there at Christmas and Easter time too. Either way we have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. It's a beautiful hotel with wonderful view of the Mont Blanc behind it. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are a good size. The hotel it's self is set back slightly from the motorway but you don't hear it at all when your in the hotel. The ... Read more

Sitting under Mont Blanc, this was a good option for a stop off en route to Italy The location is excellent, and the bar/lobby area large and modern. Rooms are perhaps a little small, and not all have particularly great views, but they are more than adequate. The restaurant was fine. There is a set meal option with an excellent starter and dessert buffets, although the main courses were a bit limited. Staff were all very friendly. Overall, this is a good hotel, though I did think the price w... Read more

The hotel has nice views of the Mont Blanc mountain. It also has a small pool with nice views. However, the hotel itself needs renovations and looks rather dirty in some areas. Rooms are rather average and the hotel is expensive for the rather mediocre service offered. Breakfast was ok but nothing special and rather expensive (14 euro per person). Free car-parking available outside.

I stayed here with my family for a stopover while we visited Mont Blanc) This hotel isn't perfect by any means. The decor in the rooms need updating BUT it has a lovely cosy ski chalet feel. Swimming pool area is good. Restaurant has a limited menu but we had a delicious raclette. It is just off the main road but no road noise in room. Perfect for what we wanted.

Nice hotel in a great region of The Hault-Savoye. Located in several km from the Chamonix village just in 100 m from the motorway leading to Mont-Blanc tunnel. Very convinient to stay here if you travel with a car. Very interesting lobby and restaurant area decoration in alpine style (chalet) with modern fireplace. Food in the restaurant was super good and in local style. Swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna. Rooms are quite small and equipped with pretty old furniture, but with a new flatscre... Read more
