Strange place and rather unlike most other Mercures. They seem to offer Bed and Breafast and littler else altho they do have a good pool/fitness centre. Rooms are small and basic but seem to have been recently upgraded (at least ours was). Good bed/sheets, clean bathroom and large TV (but few channels). Breakfast is excellent. The hotels seems to principally cater for tour groups (WWII veterans while we were there) and meetings for which it could score highly. No lifts so disabled/must speci... Read more

After a couple of nights, we are grateful that Reception and breakfast staff were excellent. Also the room was very good. High standards etc! We even had the bonus of a short glimpse of pony trotting on the adjacent track. Merci beaucoup. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx cxxxxxxx cxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

I stayed here for one night while passing through Normandy, I had been to Cabourg before and knew the town well. On arrival at the hotel I was greeted and given a key to my room along with a token with which I could obtain a towel to use the swimming pool, there was a warning on the token that if I lost it I would be billed €45.00, now I didn't really want it but there was no option but to take it and return it or be billed €45.00, surely they can list people who don't want it in the first ... Good location just outside of the town. Quiet whilst I was there, but I imagine it will be V busy on race days. Rooms look recently decorated, the entire hotel is very bright and fresh. Pleasant staff (as in every Mercure I've ever been in). Having a swimming pool which is for residents only is a real bonus, it also has steam room, sauna & fitness suite. Wi-Fi was easy to access, available everywhere and provided a good access speed. With no restaurant it's about a 500 metre walk into town... Read more

This was the perfect place for us. We were running late and things were crazy so when we called the hotel the staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds amazing, my mother said that was the best sleep she has had in years. Would stay there again in a heart beat and recommend it to anyone.

I work in music industry and stay in many hotels across Europe. Arrived with my wife and baby and stopped off for 1 night on our way through for our holiday trip. I had a bike strapped to my car that other hotels have always accommodated by storing but your hotel staff wouldn't help with this which wasn't s good start so I had to have a mountain bike in my room overnight. You can imagine how this took up major space along with my 9 month old girl travel cott, extra bed we didn't need and when we... Read more

The bedroom is a little cramped and the bathrooms could be refurbished (rain shower so low my husband could not fit under it) but in term of stay it was ok for a night. I would not envision a long stay though. We were given a room overlooking the race course and the parking. I was worried about the noise of cars in the morning but we did not hear a thing and slept very well. We enjoyed the pool and sauna. Some of the area around these activities could have been cleaner but they were in the midd... Read more
