Hotel des alpes is the perfect place to stay to ski the 3 valleys. Thibault the hotel owner is most helpful and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble !! All the staff are also very friendly and helpful, Max the waiter (amongst other jobs) was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a good size, very clean and the bath was lovely and deep, great after a days skiing, and comfortable beds.Dinner was excellent and plentiful (4 course), the bar was cosy an relaxing, slippers were not... We have just returned from 4 nights at this hotel. Was a little unsure of what to expect as the cost was so reasonable, but was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very cosy, the bar area is welcoming and relaxed with a lovely atmosphere. The food is good, perfect after a full days skiing. The rooms are on the small side but are clean and warm, the decor is a little dated but we didn't spend much time in the rooms only to sleep. The bed themselves were comfortable. The Telecabin lift ... Read more

Lovely hotel, very friendly owner and staff who worked hard to make our holiday a successful one. Ideally situated about 100 metres from the Olympe gondola, a 27 minute ride to Meribel, which never fails to entrance me and I have travelled it over quite a few years. We had previously stayed a couple of times at another hotel the other side of town, as we walked past I always thought we should stay at Hotel des Alpes. The welcome was sincere and friendly, the lift to the second floor just inside ... Read more

Hotel des Alpes is very clean, provides good food and is only 50yrds from the lift to Meribel. Best of all the service was excellent; the owners went above and beyond the call of serviceð??? If you are young and looking for good apres ski Brides-les-Baines is not for you. For a quieter stay in a nice town or for a more cost effective stay this place is great and I would highly recommend Hotel des Alpes.

We had half term week in the hotel booked via hotel website half board and ski pass included, can't fault it . Excellent value for money, meals plentiful, no choice but all very good, and four courses I am sure they would accommodate any preferences. Next to ski lift and heated boot cabin included. It's a family run hotel and the owner takes pride in ensuring guests are happy. Couldn't ask for more.
