We stayed here one night. We have experience with Accor Hotel Group. We prefer them as a standard when traveling Europe because by and large they are uniformly good. This place is no exception. We were not disappointed. Plenty of secure parking which is a must for us. We went to the nearby Casino because the restaurant in Mercure was not open . Casino dinner good. Not too expensive and you can take left over wine with you. Adequate breakfast the next morning.

Used as a stopover hotel on the way to Barcelona and it was what one would expect from the a hotel in the Accor Group. Booked 2 rooms which were interconnecting and both were clean and tidy with all the standard facilities and amenities that accompany a 4* hotel. The location was great for us as we were driving through and I think it's suitable for those wanting to explore Bordeaux as they have a direct link to the centre via train. There's also a bowling centre as well as numerous restaurants ... Read more

Had a lovely stay at Mercure Bordeaux Le lac. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and large which was perfect for our family and the breakfast was good. Parking was easy and readily available. It is a bit outside of the city center but easy to get to. I would recommend this hotel.

Huge property with ample convention oriented facilities, rooms were comfortable and functional as expected from a Mercure. Overlooks a small lake and has connections to the city as well as outskirts of Bordeaux if you are looking to go on wine trails to the many vineyards nearby.

This hotel has good rooms with excellent views of the Lake. Breakfasts were excellent. At the weekend though it is very quiet and consequently doesn't serve dinner which is a shame because restaurants nearby are pretty grim.

The hotel is within walking distance of the convention center and the C tram. There are few restaurant options and it is a bit of a ride to city center. If you come in on the train, you can take the C tram to the hotel instead of the over priced taxis. The staff is pleasant, but not necessarily considered well versed with international travelers. There are much cheaper acceptable hotels nearby.

We stayed here Friday evening on our drive to southern Spain. It is convenient for the motorway and has plenty of secure parking which is locked at midnight. The room was large nicely furnished and very clean. The hotel has a nice bar but restaurant was closed, however we found a good Italian just around the corner. There was loud music playing nearby until about midnight but this didn't bother us too much. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. All the hotel staff were ver... Read more

good location 4 minutes from tram stop. Taxis very expensive so use trams - very cheap and reliable. Weather was only fair so did not have opportunity to use what looked nice pool. Breakfast reasonable buffet selection.

I stayed here for 2 days for the Euro Cup games. The hotel is clean and the rooms are large. The staff was pleasant. This hotel is close to the stadium but quite far from the city centre. Uber really helps because the taxi prices are so expensive. It is a great hotel for a quick stopover. The prices we paid I am sure were a lot higher then most people so I don't know what the actual average would be.

We had a top floor suite which was very spacious and well appointed, but two big drawbacks. 1. There were lots of mosquitos in the room, particularly the bathroom and we both had a number of bites in the morning. 2. Despite having the A/C at minimum, the room was still uncomfortably hot. When we mentioned this to reception in the morning we just got a shrug. We would expect more from Mercure in a premium room. Very disappointing.

The hotel is reasonable, booking process is easy, rooms are okay, however the restaurant is mediocre and the staff are are not attentive and seem to be more interested in chatting amongst themselves rather than looking after customers. Use the tram to go into the city cheap, 1.50 Euros buy your tickets at the automated machine at the tram stop.

Friendly welcome by receptionist who advised us where to eat due to restaurant being closed on sundays. Italian, grills and mcdonalds within close walking distance. Large clean bright entrance, large bedroom, spacious bathroom with great shower. Outdoor pool with lots of seating areas to enjoy a drink. Breakfast an extra 9 euros but lots of choice, hot or cold available. Car parking on site at no extra cost. A definite recommendation.

Excellent modern clean hotel. Thoroughly recommended for families and couples. Perfectly located near to trams and motorway and some eateries. The pool was spotless and the staff very helpful. A great place for a trip to the Gironde.

Very nice rooms, dinner was fantastic. Bordeaux sur lac looks a lot like an American resort with many hotels and restaurants. It's about 15 minutes from Bordeaux by car. It's cheaper to stay there than in Bordeaux.

We like a Mercure - we know what we are getting. A privilege room always offers dressing gowns , slippers, good coffee, but in France .... not English tea. We were given a voucher for a welcome drink - Thankyou . In my head this hotel overlooked La Lac , I could not have been more wrong. The pool and outdoor space were good. Lots of kids, I presume children's offers. Good access to city centre via tram. Thankyou
