Great location. Easy access to all the things we wanted to see. Travelling on foot, bus or boat was easily accessible. Clean and near restaurants within walking distance. Friendly service. I'd stay there again.

We stayed here for 1 night and having stayed in many other ibis budgets around Europe, it's safe to say that this one is in need of an upgrade. I'll start with the good things. The bed is comfortable and the location in central Bordeaux is very good. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel and the number 1 bus that goes to the airport has a stop not too far away. There's also two windows that keep the street noise out very well. The biggest disappointment about the hotel is the size of t... Read more

Extremely small room that our suitcase didn't find it's way in. We had to lift it up and place it on the bed. Could not even walk around the bed. Also very noisy in the corridor at night and early morning. We have been before in this type of Hotel but this is really the smallest ever and ugliest. Need some renovation (&some friendly staff at reception). On the other hand the Ibis on the other side was much more clean and friendly reception! Quite high rate for the parking for hotel guests.

The upper bed never gets made. Staff at the reception are nice and helpful. We had mosquitoes and could kill them thanks to the recpcionist but the dead ones were never removed from the room because they were on the uooer bed. Basic room but well located for a good price. There's a police station and firemen nearby, so alarms are often heard

Although the dog was welcome at this hotel and we were given what was allegedly a quiet room it was overlooking a central atrium that acted as a sound tunnel for the people who thought it was fun to hang out of their windows shouting to hear the echo! Airconditioning was off but created heat all night long, so had to have the window open to breathe...and listen to the idiots! Room was so small that one of us (two adults and a dog) had to get on the bed for the others to move around. The bathr... Read more

First impressions were great except we came through the wrong door, we were in the Ibis Hotel which is connected by a corridor. There was a big difference at the 'Budget desk, it really is budget. Small everything, we stayed in a 3 sharing bedroom it was a double bed with a single bunk stuck on top. There was nt even enough room to climb the ladder to the bunk and in fairness when I complained at the desk they gave us a bigger room.It is a pokey and horrible hotel but in hindsight I would pay a l... We stayed for one night and it was OK. staff were great but our rooms were v small. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was simple but again ok. Don't think I would stay here again unless there were no other options.

Perfect location to visit Bordeaux. Good hotel parking rate but street parking free at night and weekends. Very clean. Sometimes noisy but you are in the centre so cannot expect a silent night! Only downside was the size of the room and the very poor quality of towels. We have stayed in many ibis budgets over the years across France and have never been in such a tiny room. So would be worth booking a triple room for double occupancy if using this hotel.

Stayed here with my husband while we were in Bordeaux for several days. The staff was courteous. Most attractions are within walking distance (and the tram stops near the hotel if you don't want to walk). The room was typical for Ibis Budget: clean, modern, comfortable. We were grateful for the air conditioning as it was hot and it's not always a given in Europeen hotels. We appreciated the check-in and check-out times (both noon). There's a Carrefour Cité right across the street, which is a gr... Read more

Decent location and rooms were clean. However we booked twin rooms and when we arrived we were put in doubles. As a group of lads it wasn't ideal! When we approached the staff at reception they were rude and dismissive ! Disappointing to say the least !!!

Stated here for 3 nights the hotel rooms are basic but have everything you need expect a kettle for coffee or tea. They are clean and well serviced. The staff are very helpful. The third bunk bed is a bit of challenge if you are over 6 foot tall!! You can use the bar next door in the adjoining Ibis. There is plenty of underground car park. The position is good with a tram stop in short working distance and a supermarket opposite for any essentials.

I would have given five stars for this hotel's excellent location- right next to the Meriadeck shopping centre and about 5 min walk from town hall. However, two stars are deducted because of the size of the rooms. I have stayed in many budget hotels around the world and this was one of the smallest rooms I have ever been in. There wasnt even space for us to open our cabin-size suitcases. Also, sound proofing was not terribly good and we heard screaming from the corridor at night. That said, the... Read more

I just didn't warm to this hotel. If you're looking a hotel which is basic and cheap then go for it. It just didn't work for me... Reception were friendly, but didn't give me any options like I heard them give other people about rooms. The staff were lovely, but I don't think that they were all totally fluent in English which is why I didn't get anyone asking me about a room choice. The room I was in was tiny and was gloomy. There was very little room around the bed, I was glad that I wasn't... Read more
