We decided to stay here for our overnight trip as we found a pretty good offer on a hotel website. Best Western operates from a charming old building and the interior décor at the lobby is quite modern. Staff were all very friendly and young and they made us feel very welcomed. The inside of the hotel was smaller than I had expected as the walkways and aisles were quite narrow. We also couldn't fit more than 2 persons in the lift, especially with luggages. The room was quite small and I ... Read more

it is a nice hotel, well located, convenient & with good service. It meets all standards of its level for Europe, which is fair. You would not be disappointed. Reception is very friendly. Breakfast was above my expectations. Along with usual set of meals we've enjoyed an opportunity to have self-made pressed orange juice (very tasty) & good espresso. The lobby area is very comfy & nicely decorated too. A tip: they have small private garage, which is closed unless you call the receotion & inform... Read more

Was given a room on the ground floor, just beside the small library. Tried requesting for a higher floor but the hotel was fully booked on the first night. The room and it's bathroom was slightly bigger than the rest. I guess it was meant for wheelchair bound guests but it's okay because it was a bigger room. Looks newer too. Then on the second night of our stay, the bathroom flooded after taking a shower. Water flown out of the bathroom and into the room so I had to change to another room. Than... Read more

The hotel is a hop skip and a jump from the railway station and the express bus stop from the airport. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They took time to show the facilities available and really went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The library had an extensive collection on books on Bordeaux and the surrounds. It was comfy and had coffee available. The breakfast was available in two types express (pastries, bread jam juice and hot drink)and a fuller range. The room we ... Read more

It's a nice, convenient hotel located very close to the rail station. We had some problems with the room for two days but hotel staff were very helpful and for the last night they put us in a brand new room on top floor which was great. But old rooms and the whole place, except of the dining area, really needs freshening up and modernisation so it doesn't look so tired.

The hotel is as near to the train station as you can get. Tram station a minutes walk away if you don't fancy the 15 min walk to the centre of Bordeaux. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, I asked for an early check in and late departure, this was granted without extra costs. I also asked for a quiet room on a high floor, this too was forthcoming. The room was more than adequate, very clean. However it was on the very small side and could do with modernizing. All amenities in the bathroom... Read more

Stayed here twice now, super location and really comfy beds...lets face it sometimes a trendy looking place sacrifices quality of sleep but not here. Staff are really pleasant and helpful with fluency in a few languages... Most impressive! The ground floor accessible rooms are excellent with proper wet rooms.
