Close to motorway..a little tired a touch expensive but overall a great nights accommodation. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Good breakfast, comfortable beds, nice grounds and very quiet. Very happy and will stay again

We chose this chateau as an easy access, one night stop on our drive up from Spain. We booked a Superior Room in the Hunting Lodge and we were delighted with it. Our room was modern, very tastefully decorated, and the bathroom and shower were great. The bed was super King-Size and we had a good night's sleep. The Chateau itself is a lovely old building, decorated and furnished beautifully for its period. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and served us an excellent nicely chilled... Read more

Beautiful hotel. We arrived late from our journey up from London met by a very welcoming lady who directed us to a local Restuarant literally next door. Room spotless, bed very comfy, very quiet we had a good nights sleep. The bathroom amazing. Breakfasts very good quality. I would recommend this hotel every time. Only downside checkin only up to 9.30 and no room service for food.

I will start by stating that I really cannot fault our stay at the Chateau. We stayed in the Family Suite which is 2 rooms interconnected by a central bathroom. The rooms are very large and the beds are very comfortable. The room itself you can start to see some signs of age, however nothing at this stage that really detracts from the overall experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were very happy to assist in making reservations at a couple of local restaurants. They wer... Read more

This is a lovely small chateau/ hotel about 4km from Biarritz. The receptionist was most helpful and welcoming and the bedroom was very nicely decorated in keeping with the style of the building. The grounds were attractive but the outdoor pool looked rather neglected, perhaps because of the poor weather during our visit. My only criticism is the continental breakfast. The coffee comes in small open jugs which means it gets cold very quickly. Also although it stated on the menu that seasonal fru... Read more

Stunning house and manicured grounds.....gorgeous views. exquisitely decorated. Lovely staff.... classy operation. Delicious breakfast. Original reception rooms preserved. Clearly pride in the property. Only downside is noisy wooden floors above if you're in ground floor room

We stayed two nights in this lovely hotel. The grounds are amazing and the chateau is so charming. Very close to the town center and to Saint Sebastian Spain - I was attending a Bruce Springsteen concert and one of the staff took time to research the concert venue and to give me different parking options as I was driving. The continental breakfast was amazing. I can't say enough about the top notch service. I don't know that many would go that far out of their way to research something to the... Read more

Stayed there in July for the second time. First time was three years ago and we stayed in a bedroom on the first floor. This time we stayed in a bedroom on the ground floor, which has the advantage of not having to carry your suitcases up the stairs, but the disadvantage of being noisier, especially in the morning with breakfast being served nearby. Overall, excellent place, beautiful house and surroundings, excellent pool and sun deck. Close to Biarritz centre (by car).

It is just a few kilometers from the center of Biarritz but being on a private estate it is like traveling further from the city. We decided to book one of the Pavillon wich is in front of the main hotel. The room was not very big but very confortable with a terrace and fully equiped bath room and super confortable bed. One of the most interesting things for us was the amazing pool with loungers and umbrellas for the sun. There is a bar in the pool where you can order different softdrinks, wine,... Read more

Stayed for a night last month while on holiday. Great chateau and the modern pool is excellent too. Very peaceful ad within a short drive of Biarritz. Breakfast was good and they found a secure place for our bikes to be left.

Finally made it, after several abortive attempts and wow was it worth the wait. Nice staff , wonderful buildings and gardens with stacks of old world charm. Breakfast particularly good and bed extremely comfortable. Only downside was ou room must have been some distance from the hot water generator - it seemed to take several minutes to arrive at the taps, however given the age of the building that wouldn't be that unusual.

We booked this Chateau at the last minute for 2 nights. It lies about 10 minutes from the town centre of Biarritz in its own lovely grounds but which unfortunately, are situated very close to the main road running from Spain to France so it is quite noisy, particularly if you open a window at night. The chateau itself was typical of most French chateaux in its external look and interior decor. Our room was very spacious with windows that opened to give us a view of the grounds, pond and fount...
