Stayed in Saint Charles with a friend. We had a room with direct access to the patio & pool. Room had nice size. The decor was nice. Not luxurious, but comfortable & pleasant. Lots from Ikea, but hey the hotel is at least partly managed by Swedes! The bed & pillow were very comfortable, much better than you usually find in affordable hotels. We had a huge bathroom, although somewhat puritan. We tried the breakfast one morning and found it actually very good: selection of bakery items, jams, che... Read more

I stayed here in August with my husband and three teenage daughters. The rooms are very small, but we knew that before booking. The staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We managed to get one of the hotel parking spaces out the front. The pool is tiny, but enough to cool off in, in the height of the summer. It is very convenient for the beach, train station and restaurants. All the rooms have fridges which was handy to keep fruit and water. No kettle, but we took our own... Read more

We had a great stay in Hotel Saint Charles. Stayed there one week, and the staff is so friendly and helpfull! The feel is also very french. Good breakfast, and clean rooms and public areas. The backyard was so pretty and cozy, and you could sit there enjoying the sun or taking a short swim.

Recently returned from JLP and staying at the St Charles. Hotel is ideally placed for all transport links as well as 2 minutes from main bars and beaches. It isn't a big flash establishment, its a family run Hotel with 12 rooms, its all kept clean and tidy by the family and staff and served its purpose in an excellent manor. The welcome and assistance provided by Patricia was perfect and thanks to her we had a unforgettable time in the Cote Dazur. We will be back next year, cant wait :-)

The room was extra cozy, primarily because it did not have the typical hotel room look, which we loved! The hotel is located within a 10 minute walk of the beaches and a 20 minute walk of Hotel Belles Rives. The staff at the hotel was lovely! Getting up and down the stairs was a bit of a hassle when luggage was involved but that was only a minor inconvenience. Also, some of the room doors only closed if pulled forcefully, so there was some noise as a result of that in the mornings. Again, minor ... Read more

My friend Elin and I stayed here for two nights and just loved it. The owner Patricia is just so nice and so service-minded, and also the girls working there. The room was big and cosy and the little back-garden with the pool was just wonderful. The breakfast was also great. I would just want to return in order to stay there. The hotel deserves at least 3*.

Smooth check-in process. Very thoughtful, beach towels can be borrowed, bathroom smelled a little (i.e. had not been renovated for quite a while). No safe in the room (only in reception). Only french TV channels. Big good fridge in the room. Pool area not the nicest, i.e. no sun beds etc. Wi fi - ok most of the time. Good budget choice! Gare SNCF 3 min walk, beaches one block away. No elevator.
