As I was working to someone else's budget, I asked for the cheapest Hotel in town, and was directed here. Not luxury but perfectly adequate. Clean rooms friendly owners oh and you've guessed it, a panoramic view of beautiful mountains. Dinner was not really a gastronomic experience but maybe I chose the wrong night.

I have travelled all over the world and stayed in many hotels of different classifications. This one made Fawlty Towers look like a 5* establishment. It was just awful. Rooms so small you had to block the door with your bag to move, no wardrobe or drawer space. The shower and toilet were broken. Bed was a thin mattress with equally thin sheets. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Read more

Read more

From the minute a group of us walked into this establishment it was a nightmare. The outwardly friendly host announced that he had only 3 bottles of beer for our party of 10. And he added we could not bring any beer/wine in from another source, although he later relented. The set meal was appalling. Main course: One sausage and some grey chopped up pasta. I'm sure mine host would argue that the room/food was commensurate with the price. Yes, it was cheap. But it was not worth it. Some dis... Read more
