Stayed here to attend a seminar, the meeting rooms are so small and old fashion, they need full refurbishment. Rooms are ok, the area is calm so any room will work. Room service is average, but be aware that if you order a club sandwich, you will get cold bread will lettuce and 2 small cubes of chicken for 30 euros! is so sad and expensive. Restaurant is average too, with the terrible french service that takes a lot of time to serve and even take the order. They have parking (that you have to ... Read more

Great hotel over Christmas weekend! Our room was on the top level with an amazing view of Aix. The staff were super friendly. The room was kept clean. The bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was amazing. We had Christmas dinner at the restaurant and it was pretty good. The location is a super short walk to the center. Great experience!

Have staid there for a weekend and liked it so much I'm already here again for a longer stay. Staff is very good, always here to help, special mentions for Jalila (who helped me fix an issue after my first stay) and Melanie (who's making my second stay really special). Location is great, a short walk from the city center and still in a quiet uncrowded area. Shopping, museums, restaurants and casino are all at walking distance. Breakfast is five star level with everything you may expect pl... Read more

We had a week's holiday in Aix-en-Provence staying at the 5-Star Renaissance Aix-en-Provence Hotel. We travelled with Riviera who accompanied us throughout the holiday. Best features in the hotel were:- 1) A Garden Bar 2) A Swimming Pool and Sauna 3) An indoor area adjacent to the 2 above which had 2 Hanging Baskets - great place to relax after a day's touring in the hot sun.

The hotel feels a bit like a business hotel, it has clean and up to date rooms and valet service for the car which we didn't find in many other hotels in France. The location is great, we only used the car when we went out of town, otherwise we would just walk to town which is under 5 minutes and very safe even at night. Great shopping and dining options in Aix, we probably liked this town the most of any we visited on this trip. Make a trip to a nearby winery for a tasting and lunch, we accide... Read more

Located about 10 minute walk from the tourism office. Very modern hotel in modern section of the city ?? was enjoyable, but a bit jarring having spent so much time in the historical centers of towns on the way here. Concierge (Navigators) very helpful by email prior to arrival. Breakfast, if not included in your room rate, 26 euros for buffet. Small gym and pool ?? clean and practical. Oddly, they have a water refill station, but no bottles for filling (ala Club Quarters); however, small bott... Read more

This was on first time staying here , the hotel is modern with all the bells and whistles, like an American hotel , rooms are large to Europe , a lot of outlets to charge you iPad , phone etc. Internet worked well. Shower with over head or side sprayer . The front desk was very helpful making our stay very nice. If you are coming from the airport or tgv train .. And take the bus 40 it is about 5 minutes walk. Was not bad with luggage A little up a small hill and then flat walk way . You are c... Read more

Stayed here with my husband and two children (8 & 11yrs) in a 2 X double bedded room. The room was ample big enough for us. The hotel receptionist on check in was very helpful and recommend plenty of activities/sights for our visit. The pool was a little small for the children but it nevertheless gave them an opportunity to have a dip. The outside garden space was enjoyable too. In short, if you are looking for a city hotel, this will tick all the boxes for a family break.

Checked in to the Renaissance Aix and was cheerfully met by Roman who helped us with parking and bags. He does everything from bellman, valet and concierge. When we came down to walk to dinner Roman already addressed us by name. World class service. Great rooms, excellent location and fantastic breakfast. Julien in the dining room was fantastic helping me with coffee early in the morning then waiting on us for breakfast. The manager of the restaurant was friendly and accommodating also. Again wo... In this hotel you can be sure you are completely looked after in all aspects. The bedrooms are minimalistic but comfortably stylish. The staff are very friendly and willing to do anything in order to make your stay pleasant. We arrived after staying in 'basic' accommodation for the previous week and were in awe of the luxurious demeanor of the hotel and surroundings. The pool is small and indoors however there are doors which are regularly opened out to the terrace outside. From the hotel there ... Read more
