This hotel is in peaceful and relaxing surroundings by the sea. The rooms are very luminous and spacious enough. Beds are good which is the most important thing. No free WiFi in rooms only in the lobby which makes this hotel somehow totally old-fashioned. TV selection is OK but nothing fantastic. Sauna is good with a small swimming pool. Breakfast is not included and it is very mediocre. There are plenty of newspapers to read in the lobby which is a big plus. This hotel is not quite worth the mo... Read more

I stayed for only one night for work. Very nice hotel and staff. Clean rooms and very quiet. It took approx 15-20 minutes from airport in the evening without traffic. The breakfast selection was excellent. The hotel had many more facilities and services that I did not have time to use. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Helsinki and specially convenient for business travel.

The hotel is ideally located on a hill in one of the most pictures sites of Helsinki. The restaurant is facing a magnificent view of a lake surrounded by forestry. The trip to the town centre by tram no. 4 from the lake side, just 100 meters from the hotel is a very pleasant experience.

We stayed here midweek on a 3day visit to Helsinki. We were greeted warmly on arrival by very friendly and excellent English speaking reception staff. The room was very comfortable located in the seaside wing. Lovely views from the room. Everything about the hotel was well organised. We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant which has lovely views across the bay. Service was excellent as was quality of food. A novel point about the sauna and pool was that there is a sea view from it which I found del... Read more

Seriously, this location is incredible! If you like being away from the hustle and bustle of the city then look no further. Excellent facilities great service and exceptional views of the water. Winter or summer this place always is a winner! I probably stayed here at least a dozen times over the last two years!

Weekend break with the family that all members loved. Location is ideal for the city centre via the tram. Lovely walks in the area as shown on the maps at reception. Staff were excellent in their attention to detail and politeness. As on the lagoon/lake may be in the summer months a boat service around Helsinki?

I loved the relaxed setting of this hotel. With easy access to the tram, the city is only 20-25 minutes away. It was a great experience staying at a hotel so close to town that had a resort feel to it.

Fantastic hotel location. Just outside Helsinki but yet convenient as only 500m from tram stop. Tram takes about 20 minutes to central Helsinki. Hotel on the sea shore so you can lie in the sun on the beach. The dining room terrace overlooks the sea and you can eatch the sunset while dining. Fabulous experience. Good parking facilities just outside hotel.

For nature lovers there is a running trek around the hotel, keeps you fresh! The breakfast was great, fresh and tasty. 10 out of 10 to reception staff, super friendly and super helpful! Three very enjoyable nights in the seaside wing. Nice large, quiet and well equipped room. Gorgeous water and beach views. Outstanding breakfast and lunch. We attended a huge formal reception and dinner that were handled superbly. Staff in general excellent but housekeeping rather sloppy--too few towels, cups and plates for tea and fruit not replaced and water glasses too. Taxis always available and front desk folk eager to assist.

We were fortunate to stay in a seaside room and the views over the sea were fantastic. The taxi ride from the airport was 43 euros and took about 20 minutes. The bedroom and bathroom were well equipped and contained everything we needed. All the staff were superb and wifi was free. Breakfast was held in the reception building and was first class. A little way out of Helsinki city centre but a short tram or taxi ride into the city. Make sure you have a sea view room which looks out over an inlet of the Baltic. The picture windows give a spectacular view particularly when you get long days. You can just sit with a glass of wine and watch the sky. Very restful. The room was quite large and clean. I've stayed at this Hilton many times in the last year - the location between the city centre and Espoo is perfect for where we have our local offices. The hotel is a 25 minute drive from the airport in normal traffic, and there are quite a lot of parking spaces available if you have a rental. There is underground parking, but frankly in this area of Helsinki you shouldn't be too worried about parking by the side of the street. For a five star Hotel in Finland, The quality of the room was not upto the mark. The interiors are dated and the hotel rooms need urgent refurbishment. My room 703 had a malfunctioning sheer stall drainage that could be put right only after the weekend (I stayed for 4 days). I have had some out-of-the-world experiences at other Hiltons worldwide.

This hotel is extremely old, and it will show. The room finishing is not great, and especially in a country where the sun does not set for months, they should invest more in curtains. If you have ever been at a Hilton, you know their service swings between excellence and average. Well this is the lowest point I have ever seen for a Hilton. We stayed here for 3 night. Although our room was facing the lake, as we requested, there was not much of a view due to the building and trees in front of our window. The room was rather bare, basic, and bland for a Hilton. What we like about the room was the large window and cleanliness. Our room was on the first floor so people walk right by our window. I wouldn't class this quite as 5*, with a few minor niggles like not having blackout curtains and un-atmospheric bar in reception, but the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location and view was perfect for me. About 20 minutes out of the city centre at the end of an easy to use tram (route 4), it's a great location for walking, with a water sports centre on the doorstep for windsurfing and paddle boarding.
