Wonderful breakfast buffet featuring Asian and American style food as well as a unmatched selection of tropical fruit. Rooms are quite large and made up to a high standard. Staff is helpful and friendly even though, due to Fijian standards tips are not expected. Staff members will actually look at you strangely if you offer a tip.

The new rooms are great and I wanted to walk out with the bed - Amazing ?? and as always, the food was spot on but it was the staff that shined the most. Being in the city and so close to everything that it has to offer was a bonus.

The hotel is beautiful and comfortable, with the staff being warm, friendly, and inviting. We were quickly checked in to a beautiful room with a King Sized bed and a patio leading out to the pool area. The air conditioning worked well -- always an essential in a warm, tropical environment such as this! Shortly after our arrival we were given a delicious bowl of fruit as a welcoming gift, and the bottled Fijian water was a very nice touch as well. The room was well appointed and comfortable, and ... Having stayed in Suva as part of a large group who were spread around hotels, I can say that the Holiday Inn is among the best in town, but the bar is fairly low. QI offers resort-style facilities with a largish pool with outside bar/rest with live entertainment most nights. We had a nice, newly refurbished room with comfortable beds and great pillows! From the moment I stepped foot onto the property everyone was so kind! I was greeted as an IHG member and the complimentary fruit was so kind! The room was great, clean and spacious and appreciated the complimentary water. The food was delicious at the restaurant and I'm going to assume because it was busy that it took almost 2 hours to complete my meal due to not getting my food quickly. The band was great. This a great place to stay! Everyone must check this hotel out. Vinaka!

The Holiday Inn Suva has been the old standby hotel in this town forever and as such was getting pretty worn over the years. However with the Holiday Inn purchase and make over it has been revitalised as a high quality hotel. The rooms have been very well refurbished in a smart design. Attractive wood work and good furnishings make the rooms bright and inviting. The outside pool and dining area is also a popular meeting place for the Suva regulars. A great place to stay once again.

Our room cost F$400 which is about $280 Aust/NZ and is certainly comparatively good value in Suva. The room was spacious with a harbor view from the balcony and it has all the amenities you would expect plus the Fijian advantage of delightful staff who are well trained. There is a very pleasant outside area with places to sit, eat and drink and there is an indoor restaurant. If you want more luxurious treatment pop next door to the GPH for a coffee or a meal.
