A good central location, a very friendly welcome. We got the and expected usual Hilton high standard rooms - good value. Car parking is pay & display below the hotel Don't, You pay at reception and get a discount. Arriving late we decided to have supper in the Kiln Restaurant. A great conversion, who knew that kilns were that big ? The food was excellent and good value the staff polite & friendly. As we were late, near to the 10pm closing time it was very empty so Iacked a bit of atmosphere. Bre... Read more

This hotel delivers as expected. Everything is done perfectly well with minimum fuss. The staff on the desks and in the restaurant were very polite and helpful. The room was perfectly fine, clean and warm. The bathroom was good too. The best bit of the hotel is the large glass kiln restaurant where we had breakfast. It's very impressive and nicely done. The breakfast was a hot and cold buffet of a good standard. Location wise is good. It's a 10 minute walk from Temple Meads station and 10 min... Read more

We were most impressed by the hotel and by the service we received from all the staff. Upon check in we were greeted by a very pleasant man named Sam who was most helpful with our questions about Bristol. The staff at breakfast were also excellent and the service couldn't be faulted. All in all this is a lovely modern hotel which is ideal for business or pleasure.

Our stay at the DoubleTree in Bristol was as a leisure weekend break using one of the offers available as a HHonors member. The hotel is well situated in close proximity to Bristol City Centre, took us about 10-15 minutes at leisurely pace to get there and back. The outside of the building is miss-leading as it was probably constructed in the 60's / 70's, but don't let that put you off. Inside the reception area is up a flight of stairs or you can take the lift (more on the lift later!). The s... Read more

Stayed here for two nights meeting friends, hotel staff very friendly & welcome cookies a nice touch, we had rooms with Hilton Honurs very clean & spacious with nice toiletries & a nice big shower although I did think it a bit excessive to throw away the soaps when we were having more than a nights stay. Short walk to train station so a bonus or it would have been if the train to Bath was running. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but would definitely stay again,

I stayed at the Doubletree whilst attending a week of training in their very well equipped conference suite. It was a real treat to stay in such a lovely hotel whilst studying. The room was very stylish and and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The ability to control the heating was most welcome during the coldest week of the year so far. Bottled water was provided daily and a good array of the usual toiletries. Because I was working, I ordered room service every night and each time... Read more

Very convenient for bus from Bristol Airport. A few hundred yards from Temple Meads rail station for access to Bath and Christmas market. Staff very friendly and efficient. Reception area cold and draughty. Breakfast waiting staff exceptionally pleasant and efficient. Tamara's smile deserves a special mention and breakfast was good quality produce with extensive choice. Lunch ordered in bar was very slow to be prepared due to corporate event and expensive for what it was. Room was as expe... Read more
