My wife and I took her son and our two grandchildren on thier first trip to Egypt, first time abroad for the grandchildren. We love Egypt from our previous trips to Sharm and this holiday delivered everything we would expect from an Egyptian holiday. The weather was great, the hotel staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was far from full so there wasn't the choice of food we may have liked, and the local holiday makers were rude and did not show the same good manners of th... Read more

Never had i had so many problems on holiday. Use all our savings to go here as The pictures and holiday company sold it us but honestly stay away. Few staff were politecbut the food? The rooms, the way your spoken too was digisting. I would never visit this place again. The worst 10 days of my life. Problem to problem. Room to room. No compensation. Not even a sorry. All the manager or reception woukd day is. "Probems happen" plus very rude. No lifecguards at the pools so people with kids beware

As part of booking our holiday we always check trip advisor and when we booked it was 4 and a half rating on trip advisor and the hotel was rated as a five star. We have stayed in 5 star hotels previously in Egypt and Turkey and this was far from a 5 star hotel. Our concerns were RESTAURANT Children were allowed in the restaurant on scooters and in go karts bring in swimming rings which was a massive health and safety risk. No warmed plates or microwave to unsure pipping hot foo... Read more

Some of the review here expect something that they get at home in the US in a 5 star hotel. Well, its Egypt. I am surprised that traveller were upset because the hotel was not full. It is not the hotels fault, tourism in general have a hard time in the middle east as we know, that unfortunatelly affecting Egypt as well. I felt they did everything to make us welcome. The staff was nice, our room was clean. They have their own beach on the red sea and a huge pool on the property. The buffet was hu... Read more

Location is great, team is outstanding. It is a place that I and my wife won't ever forget about. Food was really delicious. Highly recommended. A welcome cake was waiting for us in the room, and some other amenities for our honeymoon stay. We had a very good time and looking forward to go again.

Just come back from an excellent 2 weeks at tia heights makadi bay. I have read some horror story reviews with regards to this hotel and was panniking the whole way there, however I can't fault this hotel or its staff who work so hard and can't do enough for you from the pool guys to the housekeeping to the chefs and the managers who made sure my family and I were well looked after. 5 star in Egypt is not to be compared to 5 star at home but this hotel is struggling with only a 1/4 of its capac... Just returned from a 2 week vacation staying 14th June - 28th June 2016. I was very put off by most of the bad reviews about this Hotel that I even tried to change before departing. Well I can truly say that the people who write alot of negative and complain about this Hotel are clearly looking for one thing and that's money back because they are tight!! On the night of arrival we were checked in very quickly and taken to our room which was 2130, nice room, and very clean, only downside after ... Read more

My daughter and her 4 yr old son stayed here and we went to visit them as we were also in Egypt. Never again! She was propositioned by so many male staff for visas, marriage, photos and all sorts. It looks like concrete city, the rooms are all off of dimly lit corridors. The public toilet off of reception is pure filth as are the Egyptian women that use it! Wanted stupid money for her to keep her room a few hours longer and the room wasn't needed as it was like a ghost town there. I'd steer clea... Read more

There is no way on this earth this a five star hotel at best it is a two star Rooms are dated and dirty Food is AWFUL over cooked, cold and completely tasteless Hotel advertises 14 restaurants when in fact there is one with a beach bar that serves hot dog and chips EVERY DAY!
