I stayed in holiday Inn for 8 days and it was a great experience. The hotel is really very well located next to city stars mall and near to all amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful. They can accommodate with late check in up to 06pm with an extra of only 30 dollars.

I was at the Holiday Inn City Stars in Cairo this May and had a comfortable stay. I was there for business so spent the day and had dinners out of the hotel. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Its so close to the City Stars Mall you don't need a taxi. Its part of the mall. I would come back or recommend to others.

Breakfast Menu terrible. My table was sticky. I requested to clean, still this sticky did not go. The napkin at my table was used and dirty. Just they placed the clean side on top, that you can see immediately that it was already used. Now, after I left already, they contacted the agency that they need again my copy of the visa. Even though they made a copy during check-inn Checkout is one of he slowest in the world

I stayed there during a short visit to Cairo , the hotel is 30 minutes from Ramis train station & located at city stars complex . The city stars mall is only few steps from the hotel entrance. Reception staff is very helpful & friendly , I got a nice room clean room with king size bed (was travelling alone ). The room is clean and tidy , with a nice desk , LCD TV , & free WiFi , however it had no attractive view , just a sideway to look at. However it was sunny and didn't need to switch the ligh... I stayed in this hotel from May 25th to May 29th and it was my second time there. The hotel is very nice (European standards) and the breakfast is quite good, although I couldn't try the rest of the food they offer. However, I had a couple of problems with the "official" taxi driver of the hotel and I believe that a Hotel of this category should try to avoid. I requested twice the taxi service in reception. First time I wanted to go the Convention Center and the guy in reception told me that t... Read more

First time to try this hotel, actually We were going to Rome, Italy and did not find a suitable schedule for direct flight from Jeddah - KSA. We have taken a flight Jeddah - Cairo then another flight Cairo - Rome over lapping time was 7 hours so we have booked one night at the Holiday Inn City stars. Time between airport and hotel almost 30 minutes by car. I can not say much, but our room was so quite and we were able to have dinner at room as well as a good sleep. Just back from a longer stay in this hotel and: The pluses: Nice location, Good service on site, a VERY big thanks for the gluten-free homebaked bread at breakfast - Don't know if it was standard or only for me. Also a big thanks to the chef and people at the Windows buffet with live cooking. Specially the serving guy in glasses did a great job in getting me a nice meal ! A couple of things cut off the 5th star in the review.: 1. They are using the same contractor for the hotel transportation as... Read more

As a Holiday Inn dont expect much of food or amenities. Although the hotel does try. It is within reasonable distance from the airport but wil take you between 30 to 60 min to get elsewhere in Cairo. Staff are lovely: pretty helpful and good humored.

Well it could not last. After the experience of superlative service at the hands of Jones at the Hilton Xi'an a few weeks ago, I now descended to the depths of mediocrity at the Holiday Inn. You'll be served by someone at reception who'll ask you your room number twice and whlle he's processing the transaction another person will breeze past and will also ask for your room number. At check-in, I did not have enough Egyptian pounds to pay the taxi-driver (3 days previously they'd had a machine ... Read more

Room was cozy, clean with coffee/tea maker inside. Small electronic safe was very helpful. They didn't bother u for tips anytime. Bed linens were clean and comfortable perhaps they were Egyptian cotton made, towels (small and big) are plenty. Pool was small and cold but the area is nice. I must mention that my children ate one of the nuts/chocolate kept on the table unknowingly, which was not complementary by the way. So, before checkout when time to adjust the bill I told the guy who was clear... Read more

Stayed here again because if proximity to our office. Staff is friendly, however reception is very slow, check in and out takes a lot of time. Hotel and rooms are dirty. Everything is grubby, sink in bathroom was completely blocked. Hairs in the bed and underneath the sheets. TV selection is good and wifi works well.

Great hotel. Great value for money. The staff are very friendly and professional. City stars mall is next door, which is great for shopping or a quick bite. Ask at the reception for Hany Magdy or Moustafa Mahmoud as they are very dedicated and friendly. Upon check in guest relations will come and wish you a warm stay. The street cafe offers a nice atmosphere with music entertainment. Great choice.

From the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Room Service, Business Center, to the Bartenders, all the staff were polite and willing to do what it takes to make you happy. It was one of my shortest visits to Cairo (or elsewhere), yet it was not bad at all. It was a one night business trip and I only arrived not too long before midnight. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and they even allowed us a late checkout that gave us a few helpful hours. The room was very good and well equipped. What a great hotel I was greeted very well as a IHg Gold member. The rooms were fantastic and spacious. The staff was just too good and very helpful. As i was on the executive floor had all the benefits of the executive lounge. Being a part of the shopping complex it's makes all the more convenient. Fantastic is one word

As a returning customer it was good just like the first stay. But receptionist and guest relation should be more friendly and smiley. I have a little problem when we arrived to the room, I saw some hair on my bed :-( bed are the first thing I will check when I arrive to any hotel. and other than that it was all good :-), and for sure we will comeback again.

This was my secret be visit to Holiday Inn City Stars and hotel and its service is very good. Having said this did have an issue with the ignorance shown on the loyalty treatment. Repeatedly mentioned at the reception about my membership with IHG and while it was updated with the eh booking but strangely the available benefits were not even asked. Welcome drink was not offered and when I asked this a couple of times it was ignored and there was no answer which gave me an understanding not to w... Read more

It could be a perfect choice in terms of location, security, cleanness & room amenities. But front desk staff give less value and spoiled everything. Despite of my confirmed internet booking for a whole honeymoon week stay; I had a painful check-in as they insist to charge me in hard currency while it's clearly stated in my confirmation I shall paid in local currency. Manager on duty did every means necessary to made my stay impossible unless I paid in dollars. After much unnecessary argument I... Read more

I stayed at Holiday Inn Citystars for 4 nights last week and I have no major complaints. Check-in was breeze and that too at 8am. I was even upgraded to a superior room. The room was huge and the washroom was fine too (the faucet was slight cramped if your door is open). I had stayed at Intercontinental City Stars in my last visit and there was nothing in there to justify the 120+ USD difference in room cost. The HI rooms were same in size, cleanliness and comfort to Intercontinental and thus,... Read more

I stayed in a suite, upgrade. I found the hotel to be very clean and most staff to be very helpful although a few on the front desk are not fluent enough in English which leads to booking confusion. I agree that the hotel does not really understand the IHG membership although I was given fruit in my upgraded suite. Very good buffet breakfast and personal requests are attended to quickly. Security s very tight. I was on 6th floor. I would definitely stay their again.

Stayed twice as part of Egypt tour. This hotel is very convenient for the airport as only about 15 minutes drive. It is also adjacent to a huge shopping mall with global brands and a food court. The rooms are standard mid-range and if you are IHG reward customer you receive free wifi which is great. You can hear the traffic noise outside. There is a bar onsite and a pool. Good breakfast However, the hotel restaurant need to be improved as the staffs are not attentive enough as we have asked for a spoon but it took them for very long time to get it!

I am always a little anxious using Holiday Inn's abroad as sometimes the standard isn't quite what you would expect. But do not worry, this hotel is gorgeous, very clean, very modern and the staff from Housekeeping to Front Desk brilliant. Rooms are a good size, plenty of food options, it's even attached to the Mall. Being a Spire member, I have spent a fair time staying with the IHG group and this hotel rates as my number 1. Thank you guys, appreciate the hospitality.

I stayed here for two nights at the end of my tour, and found it to be amazing. Super modern, well secured hotel, with great rooms, and free Wi-Fi. It's right next door to the Citystars mall, so great for shopping if brand names are your thing. Not so much for bazaar-style shopping though. The staff were very helpful, and the cafe had great food. It was a very comfy way to end my trip!

Very good hotel fairly close to the airport (about 30 mins ride with traffic). Very good breakfast variety, and next to a mall with several restaurants. It is not in the city center, but a short ride from it (about 30 mins). The city noise/AC from other buidlings gets in the room as a constant buzz (not only in this hotel though), but apart from that, the rooms and beds are very comfortable.

The hotel location is very convenient if you want to be around the suburban of Heliopolis, connected to the huge mall of City Stars which can be very beneficial as it has a great variety of restaurants and coffee shops. Rooms are bit tired, in need for renovation specially the furniture, however everything is functional. Food is average, service is above average.
