Lifts are out of service , wifi is too poor , almost non existent in rooms. Good for budget travelers ( 79 USD per night including tax ). Location is convenient , close to many public services and a good supermarket ( Metro ).

The hotel was ok, not spectacular but fine for a short stay. However, I was staying there on business and relyed on the internet, which was virtually non-existent. I had to do all the skype-calls that I had scheduled on roaming, which cost me a fortune. So if you need the internet, chose another hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights in the Superior Double Room with Side Nile View. The hotel is very pretty and comfortable. If you get the baths with the corner tub, it's a plus, they are very luxurious. The bar on the ground floor is also very inviting and has decent food. A nice surprise was the very good sound insulation, very important as the city can be quite noisy (there is a mosque opposite to the street of the rooms facing the Nile and the first chanting of the day starts at 4am)... Location - 4/5 Since it is in Zamalek, location is good, surrounded by good number of restaurants, dry cleaners and mobile shops. Indian restaurant is there just opposite to the hotel. Room - 4/5 Rooms look tidy and well kept and are good as per the price. Corner rooms are around 30% bigger in size than other Standard rooms, so if possible go for those. In room laundry menu is reasonably priced. Breakfast - 2/5 Breakfast buffet is just average. And it's the same everyday, even the juices. Wi... Read more

The two rooms I stayed in weren't even cleaned properly unorganized receptionists the restaurant staff lacks training the management need to improve their management skills and how to manage their team and not discuss their internal issues in public. maintenance staff need to work without shouting all day. Parking, cafe and GYM Are essential for such an international chain. GOLDEN TULIP ..

This hotel is certainly worthy. It is beautiful, clean, has a very good breakfast, stuff that speak English and are eager to help and has a wonderful location. Opt for a room with (side) view of the Nile. You will not regret it.

This hotel is located in one of the most strategic locations in the beautiful area of Zamalek- with accessibility to many restaurants and cafes. The lobby has recently been refurbished in a modern and attractive design. The room we were in was clean and comfortable having a breathtaking view overlooking the famous Nile River. As for the price - a big time value for money accommodation compared to like for like in its class. What really made the difference in this hotel is the exceptional customer... Read more

The hotel is nicely renovated from the door entrance , lobby , new Carmen Bar, the newly added tea lounge, and on top of all the Beautiful Dinner set at the Roof top Restaurant, it all makes this beautiful hotel so special with its elegant renovation. Bravo Flamenco and keep up the standard.

Hotel is in a good location and is close to Metro supermarket and has a small refrigerator in the room that I stayed in. A very good breakfast is served in the restaurant which to me means omelets, meats, crepes, breads, cereals, fruits, etc. The hotel does need updating but facility was clean and overall it is above the standards i have experienced in other hotels in the area. I would give 3.5 stars but rating only allows 3. Staff are respectful and helpful but street outside hotel is noisy.

The Flamenco Hotel is an excellent place to stay in Cairo; it's in the hub of the city and a minute or two away from the Nile River. The rooms are indeed well kept and luxurious; virtually a 4-star facility! While the breakfast is really amazing with its variety of breads, cakes and fruits, the food is slightly on the higher side in terms of pricing. The best part is the view of the Nile that some of the upper floors offer; it just can't get better than that!

I have no complaints. I know it is in a good location but as I was there for a conference and traveled with the group I did not get to enjoy the convenience. Front desk people were kind and helpful and gave some useful tips on shopping.

Hotel location is good only for business purpose. Location at Nile view requires that rooms must be sound proof, too much noice at night. Room decoration needs more attention, as the working desk is located at Middle of the room. Satellite t.v. shows very boring channels. Breakfast is not bad. No swimming pool

Located right in the heart of Zamalek - a walkable distance to a wide range of cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. Great Nile views from the rooftop restaurant and the room -- the latter actually has a 180 degree Nile view which is quite special in itself. Healthy breakfast choices. Fast wifi.

Located in the island part of Zamalek - the hotel is on a busy street and gives a sense of safety for a solo female traveller. Comfortable, neat and clean - and the breakfast spread was great. Supermarkets and local restaurants are within walking distances. All in all I had a happy stay.

This is a very nice hotel and very affordable, the room was very clean. The area is nice, not as busy as downtown Cairo. I was there for two nights and i really enjoyed my stay there. I had a nice view of the Nile River. The only bad thing is that this hotel doesnt have a pool.

Situated in a good area - we wandered round during the day and night and felt quite safe. Lots of choices of places to eat nearby. Rooms and restaurants good. Lacks a pool or gym. We found an excellent gym (Body Shapers) a few minutes walk away that was happy to have casual visits. 10th floor restaurant have a view of the Nile - mist picturesque at night. Pity it is not open during the day (opens at 6 pm) as there is nowhere else in the hotel to eat or drink with a view. Staff helpful and friend... Read more
