This hotel has a great location in the middle of cairo, close to everything touristic, like the pyramids, the cairo tower and the nile. Room is ok the bathroom was broken but they fixed the problem really fast. Breakfast is ok and the beds are comfy. The room was really close to the street so there was noise and traffic even at 3am because this city really does not sleep, plus there have a police that you can't have guests in your room and that was really annoying that you can't even invite a ... The Hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Cairo right accross the nile river what a beautiful picture when one wakes up. The breakfast is wonderful such a huge variety of breads, salads and fruits. The hotel staff are most caring, friendly and helpful in every which way. We loved our stay and will definately stay there again for a much longer time to enjoy this beautiful hotel and exquisite setting with beautiful people. Stayed at the Golden Tulip Flamenco while on a business trip to Cairo, the hotel is best known by "Flamenco Zamalek". The hotel is a little bit far from Tahrir so if you have business there you might want to think twice. However, it's located in a nice area in the Gezira with local shops and supermarkets around. Breakfast is OK.

Got upgraded to nile view room, housekeeping good and staff fine. Breakfast ok but on 2 occasions they forgot about me when I placed an order for fried eggs, I did get my order on the Sunday but my toast was cold by the time it came on the Thursday I did not get them as the chef said he would bring it to me, they have 2 sections at breakfast non smoking and a smoking section. There is a mosque across the road but after about the 4th day I did not hear it at 5am. There is a supermarket around t... Read more

Perfect location in Zamalek area among the embassies, shops and restaurants. A well maintain building with a friendly staff. A pub and a restaurant in the 10th floor with a panoramic view over the river . The cleanness of the rooms is not always at the top but the new direction is making improvements . Free wifi coverage is also improving little by little. The nice view over the river is somehow disturbed by the loudspeaker of the small mosque just under the windows. Very good value for mon... We stayed at Airbnb nearby and passed by to ask advice with very short notice about a guide for the next day. They spent a good while putting us in touch with a brilliant guide who took us to the pyramids of Giza next day. And they asked nothing in return! Great service minded staff!

The location in Zamalek, by the River Nile and near to many cafes make it very interesting place to stay. The rooms as well are very comfortable, big and clean. The staff are very friendly. A place that gives you the sense of real Egypt. The prices are really good compared to similar hotels.

Situated in a good area - we wandered round during the day and night and felt quite safe. Lots of choices of places to eat nearby. Rooms and restaurants good. Lacks a pool or gym. We found an excellent gym (Body Shapers) a few minutes walk away that was happy to have casual visits. 10th floor restaurant have a view of the Nile - mist picturesque at night. Pity it is not open during the day (opens at 6 pm) as there is nowhere else in the hotel to eat or drink with a view. Staff helpful and friend... Read more

This is a very nice hotel and very affordable, the room was very clean. The area is nice, not as busy as downtown Cairo. I was there for two nights and i really enjoyed my stay there. I had a nice view of the Nile River. The only bad thing is that this hotel doesnt have a pool.
