My lowish score reflects solely on a noise issue which really shouldn??t occur in such a hotel. I was originally booked into a 6th floor room which overlooks a terrace on the 3rd floor where a hotel organised wedding reception was being held. The noise was unacceptably loud and on finding out that it was due to go on until midnight the hotel moved me immediately on request to the 13th floor where the noise was acceptable. I believe it still went on until well after 1 AM. I had great sympathy ... Read more

I did enjoy my stay at the fairmont. Great view of the Nile. Spacious big nicely decorated room. Great lobby and bars. Very crowded place it seems. They have a very nice oriental restaurant and nice Asian restaurant. Great sky pool. I had a great hair cut at Mohammed sughair hairdresser top floor. Nice gym. Quick service when it comes to laundry or room service. Very helpful staff. I would definitely stay there again in my next visit to Cairo. Highly recommended.

Fairmont Nile City hotel was absolutely spectacular! It is very clear that they take great pride and care in delivering an outstanding and exceptional experience. The room was immaculate, breathtaking and spectacularly luxurious at a terrific price value. The breakfast bar and restaurants were exquisite. The hotel was very busy adn understandably staff members were overwhelmed. However, they kept up to speed and I did not feel the crowd int he hotel. Would recommend using it if you are going to Cairo. (PS: A small shopping centre is adjacent to the hotel (connecting the two with a small entrance and it is very helpfull when you need to buy basic amenities and food, cafes, clothes etc...)

The hotel is situated in an excellent location. My signature room balcony had an excellent view to the Nile river. The room and the bathroom spaces are great. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast menu was good enough. You can also enjoy the "Bab Elniel" restaurant and Shisha lounge. Staff were so friendly and helpful specially Mr. Karim. This hotel became my favourite among the top ones in Cairo and this will not be my last visit.

We decided to visit Egypt for our honeymoon and explore the ancient pyramids and temples. From the moment we checked into the Fairmont we felt welcome and relaxed. The entire staff from the front desk to the food service has been so friendly! At breakfast we were welcomed everyday by Abdelhafez Mohamed, an extremely kind waiter, who not only ensured we were satisfied with the food, he also gave us a daily Abarbic language lesson. Possibly the best service I've had at any Fairmont I've stayed in (I am a platinum member with that chain). Staff was exceptional and the property was very attractive. Had room service several times instead of going to the restaurants, meals were excellent and surprisingly reasonable. Roof top pool was well done with very good views. Location is good, most major sites were a short (by Cairo standards) taxi drive away.

First, the staff are above all committed to Senior Management and the Fairmont Group as a whole. I had an opportunity to speak to a number of staff and they volunteered how committed they are to the Fairmont management. This explains in large part why the service at the Fairmont Nile City is so exceptional. The most important persons are the Guests and it is remarkable how they remember YOUR name throughout your stay. Service and surroundings in my view are difficult to match. Conducting wo... Read more

This hotel is truly the 5 star experience. Rooms are immaculate and service is excellent. It is worth upgrading to the Fairmont Gold class as the facilities, food and drinks they provide are worth the extra charge. The downside of this hotel is the noise from the night club. This is one of the many really good Cairo hotels. Located on the Nile all the services are very good - restaurants, pool, breakfast and rooms. Staff throughout are very friendly and helpful. A few issues: Internet is expensive, rooms at back can be noisy due to late night casino and neighbouring nightclub - get a Nile facing room. Also it is not a great location to go for a walk from as it is located on a busy dual carriageway . Nonetheless it is a very good hotel.

When it came to check out, suddenly we had to pay the rate of the day, including the *new* government taxes, *current* exchange rates, and the *new* fees/charges. We... Read more

I am visiting Cairo yearly for 15 years and for the last 4 years I am using this hotels. I usually book the room in the higher floor with access to the executive lounge. It has good location, very good facilities and atmosphere. They have very good and friendly staff and they provide high level of customer services.

This is the Hotel you'll feel important and unique guest. The place is spotless shinning bright, impressive columns with water features, panoramic lifts, exquisite restaurants. Fitness center is well maintained offering good conditions for spare times. Situated on Corniche, it offers a panoramic view over Zamalek islands and Nile; pyramids can be seen during days without sand storms or fog from top floor where three swimming pools create a unique place to be and relax.

Fairmont Nile Cairo is the right destination, it is the right destination. It's not just a hotel, it is a big house where u feel that you are living with your family. Thank you guys! Especially, Desoki and Nariam Ahdy in the Gold Lounge, without forgetting the rest of the staff of course. I wish all the best guys! I became a memeber of the family now. The Fairmont Nile Cairo doesn't need any rate to be appreciated. I can't wait to be back. May God bless EGYPT. Kamal Alaoui Slimani

Fairmont Nile City was the best choice we could make when staying 3 nights in Cairo. It is not only a hotel, they make you feel like home. We stayed at the Fairmont Gold-based floor, which includes access to a VIP lounge with free breakfast, soft drinks day-long, snack happy hour on the afternoon, and personalized concierge guest service. And, they offered us a free upgrade to a SUITE, which has AMAZING. The complex is a City MALL, with lost of shops and restaurants just below the hotel. Don´t ... Read more

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel while we were in Egypt. The staff at this hotel truly understand great customer service. From the Reception desk, the waiters and waitresses, the housekeeping staff and the room attendants all are the most attentive, kind, and thoughtful people you could meet. The ooms are gorgeous, spacious and comfortable, and when we asked for extra firms pillows our request was granted in an instant. The food in the restaurants we ate in was always fresh, pl... We stayed there for 3 nights at the start and 2 nights at the end of a two week group tor of Egypt. Everyone we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly. The bar at the upstairs pooled a beautiful view. The Asian restaurant had very nice food. The breakfast buffet had selections from Egypt and the rest of the world; lots of pastured, which my wife appreciated. The security at the hotel was excellent; we felt very safe. One of my favorite hotels to stay at either in Dubai and now in Cairo. very beautiful rooms with almost everything you need there. Specious rooms and bathrooms. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food there is also good :tried the room dining inn and the breakfast buffet. The only negative point I have about them is not picking up the phone whenever I call the service desk, you have to call many times till you get someone to answer you. Be aware of the type of the plug you need to use thei... Read more

The staff are very polite and follow up to make sure that all is perfect. Faculties are new, maintained and well thought out. The food can improve but it is is still very good! The hotel is right on the river Nice. Very little to find wrong, including the price which is very reasonable for what is on offer.

Best hotel we stayed in on our 12 day Egypt tour. Stayed 3 nights at this beautiful and comfortable hotel. All of the staff was very polite and the food was delicious. My only complaint is the hotel really tried to "nickel and dime" it's patrons. 13 dollars a day (130 EGP) for wifi was outrageous considering it is an international hotel.

From the moment that my husband and I arrived at the Fairmont, we were treated with the upmost professional customer service and hospitality. We had the most amazing view of the Nile River from our room! Our room was always very clean and the bed was so comfortable. I felt like a princess! The room service and meals at the restaurants were very delicious. The sky pool had amazing view as well. I would definitely recommend to stay at the Fairmont while visiting Cairo and Giza.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Fairmont during our visit to Cairo, Egypt. The service was above our expectations. The staff was available to answer any questions we had in a friendly, yet very professional manner. Room service, selection of items, taste and freshness of food, presentation and delivery were exceptionally good. The location of the Fairmont Nile is also very convenient to move around the city, also we had a view of the Nile; although, we had to pay $30.00 extra to get a ro... Read more

We stayed here to begin our luxury small group tour with Abercrombie & Kent but the Fairmont Nile City hotel is not in a good location. It is situated approximately 23 kilometers from the Cairo International Airport BUT the traffic is an absolute nightmare. Cairo traffic is some of the worst in the world and makes Los Angeles look tame and fluid. These 23 kilometers in Cairo traffic can take approximately an hour and a half (1 1/2 hours) and is maddening. Frankly, we dreaded coming back to the c... Read more

I would recommend the Fairmont. Upon arrival, our room/bed size was incorrect. Also too, next door neighbor had TV blasting. Called down to front desk and they resolved our issue expeditiously. Next day both front desk staff and manager apologized for noise. Our room was upgraded, box of chocolates delivered to extend their apology. Thanks Nesma. You went above and beyond to make our stay most comfortable. Only issue is that the hotel allow smoking. Smoking should only be allowed outside... Read more
