We stayed in this hotel as part of a group and had a suite which had a spectacular view over Quito. The hotel is modern and has all the amenities you would expect from a hotel of this standard. The food in the cafe was excellent although the service at the bar was a little slow. We had a plumbing malfunction in our room on the first night and we were very happily moved by the hotel staff to another room without a problem. It is in more of a business district and is a drive away from the majo... Read more

A stay at this hotel before and after a Galapagos cruise was a welcome surprise. The rooms are what one would expect of a good, 4-star hotel in the U.S. and the service exceeds what one would expect. The hotel has extensive meeting rooms, a good amount of retail and 4-5 restaurants ranging from burgers to japanese cuisine. The real differentiation of the hotel is the service orientation of the staff....everyone from the front desk to the cleaning personnel were courteous, pleasant and willing... Read more

Terrible customer customer service, placed in a room where we could hear the exact songs from the parties that went on in their ballrooms until 2am. Hotel was completely unresponsive. Most of the staff was unprofessional - we got a call to our room asking us to come down to pay for a spa fee an hour earlier before closure as they wanted to go home for the day. We felt rushed and it did not provide the relaxing, smooth stay that a five star hotel should provide. Bathrooms are in desperate need of... Read more

Our room, 704, had a good view over Quito, and out to one of the volcanoes. The room was a good size (for 2 people to unpack), and had a spacious bathroom. Some of the bathroom fittings looked tired. We stayed here as it was the start hotel for Trencrucero. It's not a downtown hotel, and its position in a suburban are seemed a little isolated . You didn't really feel that you like to walk around and explore the area. Th staff were friendly, and generally excellent. Buffet breakfast excellent too... Read more

Stayed here for one night, plus an evening before a red-eye flight. The hotel was clean and very American in that the rooms were big, there were several outlets for charging phones, shower toiletries were provided, etc. The staff were very friendly and most if not all spoke great English. Siegfried in particular was extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home after our overnight flight. We had a free day before a tour began, and he was very helpful when we were planning our day and figur... Read more

We stayed at the hotel prior to our Amazon Basin cruise with Un-Cruise. (Amazing!!!) The hotel is at the north end of town, which makes it more convenient to get to the airport. There are restaurants in the hotel, a supermarket about a block away, and quite a few restaurants on the street behind. There is a nice spa, indoor/outdoor swimming pool and the breakfast buffet (included) is excellent. It is quite a hefty and not particularly interesting walk to the historic downtown area and I would re... Read more

I first stayed in this hotel 14 years ago and just like in the past this hotel did not disappoint in November 2016. Room, food and service was excellent. An unforgettable experience. Keep up the high standards.
