My husband and I stayed here before a trip to the Galapagos Islands with our two children. Our airline lost our luggage and the staff was beyond helpful in assisting us with attempting to retrieve it prior to our flight to the Galapagos. One of the staff members went so far as to call American Airlines in Quito for us and attempt to get more information on its arrival. The hotel itself was clean and the rooms were nice. The pool was fantastic and our children really enjoyed it. My daugh... Read more

Arrived at the hotel at 2am. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast selection is amazing and the staff there excellent. We had a view of the hotel and the hills (amazing). Was easy to arrange a cab to any locations we wanted to visit.

We stayed for a week at Hotel Quito in mid-December. The hotel staff was great; very professional. Our room had a beautiful view of the pool and areas beyond, and the breakfast (included in our room rate) was very nice, and included just about anything one would want for breakfast. The housekeeping staff was quick and efficient, the only complaint being that with 2 people obviously staying in the room, for the most part, only 1 wash cloth was provided, however we were able to go to the cart... Revisited Quito after 35 years. As usual in Hotel Quito, a fantastic view of the city from the corner table in the restaurant. As the city has grown from 800 thousand to 1.8 million during these years, a city walk in the streets of Mariscal Sucre nowadays means breathing polluted air. But Hotel Quito has the best of location among city hotels, and is therefore still blessed with reasonably clean air. Room, food and service as good as expected, especially appreciated the breakfast buffee.

Big open spaces and heated outdoor pool. Internet is not very strong. No concierge. Rooms are large bright and modern. Can walk to Zazo and Urko. Restaurant on 7th floor provides lovely views of Quito.

We stayed here as part of a tour and it was a great place. The room was clean with a good balcony overlooking the city of Quito. All the amenities are there in the room and the WiFi is good. The staff were all very helpful and the grounds were fantastic for birds with Hummingbirds whizzing around the huge pool. The restaurant provides good food and the view from the restaurant is stunning. At night the mist rolled in and added to the atmosphere.

Lovely hotel with very polite and helpful staff. Room was good and lots of facilities but by far the best thing was the breakfast. Literally anything you could think of and it was all absolutely delicious!

The hotel has great views, and the rooms have a bit of old fashioned charm. But I really struggled with the noise during my stay for Habitat 3. In the street there is some kind of discotheque. It's really noisy around 3 and 4 am and woke me up every night. I asked the reception staff if there was anything they could do and they just said it was a discotheque and that's the way it is. Secondly, the price for breakfast is very high and there is no notification to tell you that it is not include... Read more

I stayed in the hotel for a conference. It's a fine hotel, except for the fact that it is across the street from a night club that opens from Wednesday and is closed each night at 3am with loud police sirens until everyone finally leaves the club and street. If you're looking for a good night sleep, you'd be better off staying elsewhere.
