Excellent, friendly staff and lovely accommodations at Patio Andalusia in the heart of the UNESCO old city provided a great base for our group of ten friends. Full breakfasts were delicious with many uniquely south American fruits.

We stayed at Patio Andaluz for two evenings. The rooms were very comfortable and all unique. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was freshly prepared. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Very disappointed in this low quality hotel chosen based on Trip Advisor reviews! - VERY POOR VALUE! Expensive, yet doesn‚??t deliver - QUITE NOISY! (you are given earplugs when you check in‚?¶) Outside noise when your room gives onto the very busy street. Inside noise for rooms located around the 2 noisy inside courtyards (one doubles up as a restaurant with live music which could be tolerable if it were not electrically amplified) - CHEAP! This hotel obviously cannot afford new, clean... Read more

We stayed at the Patio Andaluz for three nights and loved everything about the hotel. After stay at another hotel in Quito that overlooked a busy plaza, we were thankful for the peace and quiet that we found here. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean and there was a great shower with plenty of hot water. All the hotel employees were friendly and attentive to our needs. We ate several times in the restaurant and found some of the best food that we have eaten in Ecuador. E... Read more

Excellent location, nice and helpful service, and good food. There are many places in the common areas of the hotel to sit and enjoy the complimentary tea and coffee any time of day, which is a nice touch. Rooms are on the basic side, but cleanliness is excellent. Overall a great choice and good value given then prime location in the old town.

Not only was the entire staff cheerful and helpful, but the front desk went well above and beyond expectations. I traveled from Panama with a couple and were only staying about 18 hours in route to a Galapagos cruise for which we needed to leave for the airport at 4am. Our luggage didnt make it on the plane and it was New Years Sunday. The hotel staff waiting on hold for at least half an hour multiple times to speak with someone at the airport to get status of our luggage and direct them to d... Read more

We stayed in Quito for two days on our way to the Galapagos Islands. This was a great find (dumb luck admittedly in booking). The setting / courtyard is a sight to be seen, with kids playing chess and checkers on the balconies and happy hour provided in the late afternoon. We had not planned any excursions out of the downtown, but the hotel staff helped to arrange a car to take us over to the equator (both sites), as well as a car to the airport the next day. Would definitely look to stay here a... Read more

We a great find! The hotel was lovely and the staff was beyond helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. The tapas were especially good. The location couldn't be beat if you are touring the Old Town. The rooms were unique, distinct and charming. The beds and linens were warn but well cared for. The bathroom was nice and they provided plenty of fresh drinking water.
