"This was our first vacation trip to Punta Cana and we chose the Ocean Blue Golf and Beach Resort. We didn't know what to expect, but whatever our expectations, Ocean Blue exceeded them all. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with nothing but friendliness; the staff went out of their way to be accommodating, helpful and friendly. The property is kept clean at all times. The meals are delicious. The rooms are spacious. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. I would highly recommend the Ocean Blue to all!"

"THE BUFFETS WERE VERY GOOD WITH A GOOD SELECTION AND IT CHANGED DAILY, THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY FROM THE FRONT DESK TO THE CLEANING STAFF. THE NITELY SHOWS WERE VERY GOOD AND AFTER THE SHOWS THE STAFF WOULD REALLY GET THE LOBBY BAR HOPPING. MIKES COFFEE SHOP WAS A MUST DO TO END EVERY EVENING THE DESSERTS ARE EXTREMELY GOOD."

"Let me first start out by telling you, when I first read the reveiws I was a little scared after I booked. Some of the reveiws were scary! Espcially when I was traveling w/three kids. My husband and I traveled w/three kids 10,6,3 we had the most incredible time of our lives. My husband and I have been to the isalnds before but not with the kids. There is so many activities for the kids to do! They have a Mickey Mouse club that you can dropped your kids off at 10a and pick then back up at 5p if you want to do your adult thing!! They have shows, games, activities etc...sooo much your kids won't know where to start!! But for being a family resort the night life just begins what I mean is this... all the kids activiteis are done at 830p and the adult life just begins at 9p -- there is so much going on for the adults it's wonderful!! The lobby is a great place to begin the entertainment, people, atmosphere is wonderful! It's like you have your own little town there because between all the restaurants, and shops you don't have to leave the resort! Only if you want to do the excursions! You do have to bargain your way around though....The beach is great a bit windy day to day--the pool is great, they do water aerobics e/day @1130a if your into it. The people atmosphere, food every thing is great! They have kid friendly food too...The hotel staff just couldn't do enough for you! I would definitly go back!! "

A Recent Traveler from tarpon springs, florida had this to say:
"We were not sure what to expect about the Ocean Blue....upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised at how fresh and clean and new everything looked. The open air lobby is wonderful and has a cool breeze flowing throughout the day and night. The service employees, at the beach, bar, buffet were wonderful and went out of their way to deliver the best service possible. I strongly encourage tipping at min. a couple of dollars as these young men and women work very hard, and they deserve to be recognized for the service they provide. We would go back to this resort in a heart beat...... "
