"We have stayed at this resort past 2 years. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Food was above average with a great selection to choose from. We went during Memorial weekend, which was a big mistake for us, since we did not know about the Hip Hip Festival. We prefer a more low-key atmosphere and will not go back during this particular weekend. We went on the Saona Isle tour. It was nice, but most of the time was spent getting there on one of the catamarans. We will stay at this resort on our next trip and will refer it to friends."

"The pool gets very crowded and only two feet deep. The wet bar area is small, so sometimes there is a line for the drinks. My wife and I stayed on the beach, which is great. It is clean and safe. The bar at the beach is great, service is quick. Get to the beach early, if you want some shade, as it fills up during the day. Also, be aware, that some of the staff can try to sell you vacation club plans."
