"My first time in DR, not for my husband though he`s gone to many resorts in DR. I went to Edenh for my honeymoon in October 2008, it was WONDERFUL! The place itself is beautiful, very modern, yet comfortable. The rooms are very well kept, I absolutely loved the bathroom it had ceiling high glass doors which I thought were sexy. The pools are very nice, beach is gorgeous, the club is fun, and bars are great! One of my favorite was your own private jacuzzi on your balcony! Very romantic with high walls so you have much privacy. There are some very BEAUTIFUL restaurants, also one of my favorites. My one complaint was the buffet food, but then again I`m a VERY PICKY eater. It wasn`t bad it just wasn`t as great as the restaurant food. I definitely would return and recommend to everyone, especially to couples. Great romantic getaway! "

"After my deployed military husband and I finally agreed that I needed an `ALL ABOUT ME` trip at the last minute, I decided to give Punta Cana a try. Speaking with Bookit.com representative, I went with his suggestion of NH Real Arena. I am so glad that I did. My room was very nice and clean, my balcony view of palm trees swaying overhead was picturesque, the staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the beach was better than I could have hoped for. There were plenty of chaise lounges on the beach and around all of the pools. I have been to resorts where you have to get up early to get dibs on a place to sit beachside, but not so here. The water is as serene and turquoise blue as the photos display. There is a pretty good selection of food in the buffet room, something to please everyone for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My dinner of a seafood platter at the Steak Grille was okay at best, but the service was great. Dinner at the French restaurant was much more appealing and appetizing. Overall, I would not hesitate to return to this resort. In fact, the plan is to return with my hubby this fall. I also think some family and friends may be coming with!!!"

"We just returned from a week at the NH Real Arena with my boyfriend, his 13 year old daughter and my 6 yr old son. I would highly recommend this location to everyone. This was my second trip to Punta Cana in the last 6 months. In March, I stayed at a different (same stars) resort around from the NH Real and have a good idea of comparisons of NH vs. other resorts in Punta Cana. First of all, from the moment you get out of the taxi, being greeted by the bell boy and front office staff, to the poolside entertainment, the photographers throughout the resort, the Kids club staff, every waitstaff person, etc., we never had a bad experience with anyone. My luggage did not make it to the resort right away and it was my birthday as well. When customer service heard about this, they made my day more spectacular than I could have imagined. They did the calling for me to the airport, translating all my wishes to the airline and then made my family a reservation at the Senses to celebrate. I felt like a queen at Senses because of the personalized treatment we received. The woman in the Kids Club is amazing! She helped my boyfriend after he cut open his head and was bleeding. I know he is still a big kid so her help was part of her job...but it`s not! A little advice, a small tip (we gave $1-4 to people who helped us) goes a long way. These people are very, very hardworkers and live off pennies a day. Our maid started crying when we gave her a $4 tip one morning...but I have to say, our room was always clean, she never interrupted us if the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door, and was kind with every little gesture we gave her. On the first day, we tipped our waiter at Senses and every time we sat in the buffet area or otherwise, he always made sure we were taken care of. The photographers are amazing and take lasting photos that are beautiful! Thosein the dive shop, will help you with all your needs - big or small. We planned a trip to Catalina Island for diving, parasailing, and another dive and they were the best price ever. The guys that run the kayak, sailing and windsurfing rentals are fabulous. We took the catamaran out everyday to enjoy the true experience of the ocean and Punta Cana - these guys have lessons for the non-sailors or need to brush up on your skills sailors, everyday from 9:30 -10:30 - do it! The entertainment, whether for the kids or adults, was amazing - the people in the DR are extremely talented! We loved two of the dancers who also entertain at the pool. We loved this resort and the people working there so much, that we are seriously considering buying property there. Not once did we see the negative things said about the resort and we were there a week. I will say that every person, whether visiting this resort or any other tropical resort, should ALWAYS warn their children about topless sunbathers. With the all the different cultures in one spot, you are bound to have some that differ with your way of thinking. It is a great teachable moment for all people, children and adults alike."

I have to say that our room was always clean and the staff would try to accommodate any of our requests. They were prompt and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The gardens are very nice and I found it to be very clean. I enjoyed the restaurants and their food. The night entertainment as well as the activities by the pool was good and fun. Also, the guys at the beach were courteous and always willing to work with our schedule to accommodate us and give us the opportunity to have fun at the beach. I have to say we are planning to go again next year. That is how much fun we had. I highly recommend it."

"This was great for my family: for me and my husband, two boys ages 10 and 11. A few topless Europeans were around, but the kids put their eyes back in their heads and survived. Parents might want to have a little talk about that possibility before they bring their pre-teens. Hotel was spotlessly clean and lovely. Food was plentiful and while not gourmet, more than edible. The kids and I stuffed ourselves on fresh mango every day. The window in the bedroom has been corrected with a frosted glass replacement, so, mom can take a shower in relative privacy. The staff is amazingly friendly, and if you even attempt to speak a little Spanish, they will bend over backwards to help you. They might be a little light on the staffing, but the folks who are there are wonderful and work very hard. Don't forget to pack long pants for the husbands/boys to dine in the restaurants. There is a dress code we didn't know about: long pants and shirts with sleeves, no flip flops for men, ladies are fine in long shorts or sundresses. One of the staff fixed us up with a pair of uniform pants to borrow, so we could dine in the restaurants. It was so nice of him. Entertainment was nice, but started every night at 9:45 PM, and we were usually worn out by our beach and pool activities. It was a great experience and so much fun. There were only about 30% of Americans, so we met lots of nice people from around the world, as close as Puerto Rico and as far as Russia."

"Our visit to EdenH was Feb. 28 to March 7, 2009. Our room number was 2349. This was our third vacation to Punta Cana and our first visit to this hotel. Hotel was nice and very clean. We arrived at hotel around 1:00 pm. Our room was not ready until 3:20 pm. We kept checking on the status and they kept telling us it would take another 20 minutes. They provide you with some details on the hotel on a piece of paper in your welcome envelope; however, it is not in English. We didn't know that to turn on the lights in our room you needed a key card - had to find that out the hard way. This should have been explained to us. The electric went off for approximately 25 minutes one day (good thing I wasn't in the shower or elevator). One day we came back to our room at 5:00 pm and our room still hadn't been cleaned. On two nights, there was an odor in the outside air (smelled like burning garbage). Not sure what that was but it bothered us that we left the outside acrobatic show and returned to our room. The beach and pools are beautiful and there are plenty of chairs in the sun and shade. I thought the food was good and the specialty restauants were excellent. We had to wait in line to make our reservations for the restaurants but it was worth the wait. At the buffet, some days you had to run after the wait staff to get a cup of coffee or glass of water. Other days, they were right at your table. It was inconsistent service. At check-out they give you a small card showing you have checked out. Be sure to hold onto the card since you have to present it to the bellboy when he loads your luggage into your transfer vehicle back to the airport. Again, where is the customer service, why didn't the checkout clerk mention that I needed to have the card handy in order to turn it in upon departure. I feel they do not have enough staff and that most of the staff does not speak English. The staff also needs some refresher training in customer service. I would not return to this resort."
