"My family just returned from Majestic Elegance and it was well worth the while. It was our best vacation to date. Staff - bell boys, cleaners, dining staff were excellent. Everyone had a smile and was very willing to assist. Room was fresh and clean and was attended to promptly and serviced with amenities. The buffet restaurant was great - foods served in a variety of ways. The only drawback was that there could have been more English speaking staff but it was more than worth it."

"We booked this vacation a week before our 30th anniversary and very happy we did. We had never been to the DR so all was new to us. This place was more than we expected. Extremely clean, friendly staff, very good food and plenty of it. Plenty of alcohol in the drinks, there was no cut back there. Our room was close to the beach on the 2nd floor where we had a view of the ocean. The downfall to being that close was that housekeeping started at the other end and ended at the beach end, so our room wasn`t made up until 4;30-5:00.Gratuities are all included, but you sometimes can`t help to give a buck to a server, or anyone for that matter, that has gone above and beyond. They are not there with their hand out waiting for something as management would not allow that. A simple hand shake with a buck in the palm generates a big smile. The beaches and pool areas were clean and not crowded, plenty of space for all to enjoy. A few kids but not many. Other resorts on the beach seemed to have catered more to the family setting. This is certainly, without a doubt, a resort that my wife and I would return to."

"This trip was by far one of the best I have been on. The resort staff was excellent and truly understood the meaning of customer service. The images provided on bookit.com are accurate: high ceilings, vast open space and very clean. The price we paid for an all-inclusive resort was excellent, and plenty of food choices were available. The only thing I would say that needs improvement is the night life. The resort has only one disco, and it is rather small. Besides that, I would say, everything else was perfect and would recommend this resort to my friends. We are thinking of making the Majestic Colonial Punta Cana an annual trip. We had such a good time!"

"We spent Easter Week at Majestic Colonial, we had a wonderful time. The service is excellent and the staff very friendly. We wanted to bring back some 'dulce de leche', since none was available at the Hotel, one of the barmaids was kind enough to bring some for us from her home town. Her name was Wanda and worked in the evening at the outside bar. I enjoyed the pool very much and especially the aerobic classes in the pool. We recommend Majestic Colonial to all our friends."
